Background: JKN (National Health Insurance) is one of the government's efforts to improve public health status by requiring all Indonesians to become JKN members.Objective:This research aims to determine whether the determinant factor of fee payments has an effect on the compliance of Independent JKN participants in paying the fees.Method: A quantitative research with an analytic-observational approach and a cross-sectional research design. The population in this study was all the Independent JKN participants in Biringkanya sub-district, Makassar. The samples in this study were 52 families that were selected by using accidental sampling technique and the data collection method was carried out by using an online questionnaire via Google form.Result: The results of this study indicate there is an effect of the respondent's income (0.001), increase in contributions (0.005), the deadline for payment of contributions (0.011) on the compliance of JKN Mandiri participants in paying BPJS Health contributions, and there is no effect of education (0.723), employment (0.138) and contribution payment procedures (0.656) to the compliance of JKN Mandiri participants to pay BPJS Health contributions in the Biringkanaya sub-district, Makassar City in 2020.Conclusion:Adjusting the amount of fees, adding time limits and in-depth socialization to the community are some alternatives that can be used by providers, in this case by Health BPJS in increasing compliance to pay Health BPJS fees.
Abstrak Latar belakang: Demensia merupakan salah satu masalah kesehatan utama dikalangan lansia. WHO mencatat pada tahun 2016 diperkirakan angka kejadian demensia sebanyak 47,5 juta orang dan diperkirakan akan meningkat menjadi 75,6 juta orang pada tahun 2030 dan 135,5 juta orang di tahun 2050. Tujuan : Untuk mengetahui hubungan antara kebiasaan membaca Al-Qur’an dan aktivitas fisik dengan demensia pada lanjut usia yang berkunjung di posyandu lansia desa Baringeng Kabupaten Soppeng, Provinsi Sulawesi Selatan tahun 2020 Metode: Penelitian ini merupakan observasional analitik menggunakan desain cross sectional. Jumlah responden adalah 53 lansia diambil dengan cara total sampling, pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner, analisis data menggunakan uji statistik Kolmogorov-Smirnov. Hasil : Hasil uji statistik Kolmogorov-Smirnov didapatkan ada hubungan antara kebiasaan membaca Al-Qur’an dengan demensia, dengan p value = 0.000 dan ada hubungan antara aktivitas fisik dengan demensia, dengan p value = 0.000 Kesimpulan: Terdapat hubungan antara kebiasaan membaca Al-Qur’an dan aktivitas fisik dengan demensia pada lanjut usia yang berkunjung di posyandu lansia desa Baringeng tahun 2020. Kata kunci: Demensia, Kebiasaan membaca Al-Qur’an, Aktivitas fisik. Abstract Background: Dementia is one of the main health problems among the elderly. Objective: To find out the relationship between the habit of reading the Qur'an and physical activity with dementia in the elderly who visit the posyandu for the elderly in Baringeng Village, Soppeng Regency, South Sulawesi Province in 2020. Methode: This research is an observational analytic using cross sectional design. The number of respondents was 53 elderly taken by total sampling, data collection using a questionnaire, data analysis using the Kolmogorov-Smirnov statistical test. Results : The results of the analysis with the Kolmogorov-Smirnov statistical test found that there was a relationship between the habit of reading the Qur'an and dementia, with p value = 0.000 and there was a relationship between physical activity and dementia, with p value = 0.000. Conclusion: there is a relationship between the habit of reading the Qur'an and physical activity with dementia in the elderly who visit the posyandu for elderly in Baringeng village in 2020.
The National Health Insurance is a program launched by the Indonesian government since 2004 with the issuance of National Law No.40 of 2004 concerning the National Social Security System (SJSN) which mandates that social security is mandatory for all residents including National Health Insurance through a National Security Administration. Social as manager of the Health Insurance system. In Indonesia, data shows that in 2019 BPJS Kesehatan participants were 221,580,743 out of 267.6 million people in Indonesia.This research was conducted to determine the factors related to the level of JKN participation in the PBPU category in Paselloreng Village. This research is a quantitative study with an observational analytic approach with a cross sectional study design and a sample size of 204 respondents who were taken by means of Accidential Sampling.The results of the study using the chi square test showed that the factors associated with the JKN participation in the category of Non-Wage Workers were Knowledge (p-value = 0,000), income (p-value = 0.001), Number of Family Members (p-value = 0.024), Perception (p-value = 0,000) and motivation (p-value = 0,000), while the variable not related to JKN participation in the category of Non-Wage Workers in Paselloreng Village is Last Education (p-value = 0.187), Occupation (p-value = 0.760 , and distance of access to BPJS Health services (p-value = 0.097). Suggestions from this study are expected for the government and society to pay more attention to the things that cause the lack of public participation in JKN such as difficult access to services, equal distribution of contribution assistance. inaccurate, inadequate information, and encouragement for the public to participate in JKN.Keywords: Healthcare BPJS, JKN, Non-Wage Workers, Independent Participants, Non- Participants
Background:Medical error is a threat to every patient who wants to take care, therefore the importance of patient safety culture is applied in every hospital to keep patients safer in terms of health careObjective:This research describes the overview of role teamwork dimension, adequate staffand health workers’ perception of patient’s safety culturein the hospitalization unit of Dr. Tajuddin Chalid Hospital of MakassarMethod: It uses a descriptive quantitative approach to explain the issue. The research samples consist of 107 health workers stationed at the hospitalization unit by utilizing the purposive sampling techniqueResult: The findings show that the patient safety culture falls into a moderate category (57.0%). Teamwork on moderate category 55,1%, adequate staff on moderate category (65.4%), and health workers’ perception of patient’s safety on moderate category (77.6%)Conclusion: This research concludes that the safety culture in the hospitalization unit of Dr. Tajuddin Chalid Hospital of Makassar is classified moderate, signifying that the health workers have practiced the patient safety culture by the Patient Safety Standards (PSS) despite some lacking in several areas. It also encourages following the SOP by conducting training and workshops for the health workers.
