Pengembangan berbagai perangkat pembelajaran memunculkan inovasi yang baru dalam pembelajaran biologi. Salah satu perangkat yang dapat dikembangkan adalah bahan ajar. Bahan ajar yang digunakan di sekolah masih sangat konvensional dan belum memiliki informasi mendalam bagi siswa di luar materi dasar. Hal ini membuat pembelajaran di sekolah belum bisa maksimal. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan buku pengayaan pada materi pertumbuhan dan perkembangan tumbuhan bagi siswa SMA. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah research and development model pengembangan Borg & Gall. Hasilnya menunjukan bahwa buku pengayaan hasil pengembangan valid dan layak digunakan sebagai bahan ajar biologi untuk siswa dengan nilai rata-rata 3.63. Hal ini karenakan buku pengayaan ini memiliki banyak keunggulan yaitu mengandung materi yang lebih mendalam dan detail untuk merangsang daya analisis siswa. Kesimpulannya adalah buku pengayaan hasil pengembangan layak digunakan untuk pembelajaran.
The aim of the research was to analyze the effect of the application of Active, Joyful and Effective Learning (AJEL) to environmentally care attitude of students in X grade of 33 Senior High School of Jakarta. Sample was collected by a cluster random sampling technique with one experimental class, namely class X-Science 1, whereas X-Science 3 as control class with a total sample of 62. This study was a Quasi Experimental Method with Non-Randomized Control Group PretestPosttest Design. Components of learning model that reflects the Active, Joyful and Effective Learning (AJEL) that used in this research was time token, gallery walk, and outdoor learning. After doing normality test (Kolmogorov Smirnov Test) and homogeneous test (Fisher Test), known that data had normal distribution and homogeneous. Increase in environmentally care attitude measured use N-Gain test. Result of the test are, in experimental class, N-Gain score is 52,8 which includes into middle increased categories. In control class, N-Gain score is 24,8 which includes into low increased categories. Result of calculation hypothesis test (t-test) indicated there was an effect of the application of Active, Joyful and Effective Learning (AJEL) to environmentally care attitude of students.Keywords : Active, joyful and effective learning (AJEL), environmentally care attitude.
PENDAHULUANLingkungan merupakan bagian yang penting bagi kehidupan manusia. Kerusakan lingkungan hidup akibat aktivitas manusia salah satunya disebabkan oleh kurangnya pengetahuan tentang lingkungan dan rendahnya sikap peduli lingkungan (Schatz, 2000).Sikap peduli lingkungan dapat ditanamkan di lingkungan sekolah.
The purpose of this study was to determined the correlation between students' perception of teacher transactional leadership style with Student motivation of study biology. Students have perception of teacher transactional leadership style during the learning process. Student perception about teacher transactional leadership style can be one of the factors that influence the motivation to learn biology. This perception may occur at each school included in SMA Negeri 31 Jakarta. This research was conducted in SMAN 31 Jakarta in May 2016. The method used was descriptive method through correlational studies with survey techniques. The total sample in this study were 85 students with simple random sampling technique. Having tested the research data were normally distributed and homogeneous. The regression equation Ŷ = 37,453+ 0.485X obtained. The correlation coefficient of 0.496.Which means that 21.9% of the variable motivation of study biology can be determined by the variable student perception about teacher transactional leadership style.
ABSTRACT
Gigantochloa manggong, one of endemic bamboo plant in Indonesia is suspected have potensial as an exogenous antioxidant. Exogenous antioxidant can help the activity of endogenous antioxidant on the body when overtraining occurs. Antioxidant can be measured by catalase enzymes activity. This present study was carried out to determine the effect of maximum physical activity and leaf bamboo extract on catalase activity in liver organ of rats. This research used experimental method with completely randomized design (cRD). The test groups were the control rats (E0R0), rats induced leaf extract (E1R0), rats treated swimming activity (E0R1) and rats induced leaf extract and swimming activity (E1R1). Data were analyzed by the two-way ANOVA statistical test. Bamboo leaf extract turned out to be non-toxic and leaf extract contained flavonoids, alkaloids, triterpenoids dan saponins. Catalase units in the control group = 1.00 unit/ml, the group which induced leaf extract = 0.89 unit/ ml, the group which treated maximum physical activity = 0.78 unit/ml and the group which treated maximum physical activity and induced leaf extract = 0.56 unit/ml. Based on statistical test, catalase activity no effect (p> 0,05) on rats. It was concluded that maximum physical activity can’t decreased catalase activity, leaf bamboo extract can’t increased catalase activity and there was no effect between maximum physical activity and manggong bamboo leaf extract on catalase activity in liver organ of rats.
