Abstrak HAZARD IDENTIFICATION AND RISK ASSESSMENT IN BOILER DIVISION USING HAZARD IDENTIFICATION RISK ASSESSMENT AND RISK CONTROL (HIRARC) AbstractEvery workplaces have always risk of accidents which need efforts to prevention and control it doesnot happen. Occupational risks hazard identification is an early step that must be considered by the company. The purpose of the study is to determine the type of hazard, risk assessments based on sources hazard and risk assessment based on the types of hazards in the boiler division. Data collection on the identification and assessment of risks analyzed by HIRARC, evaluated and find the better solution to determined and control hazards in the workplace so that the workplace safely. The result showed the sources of the dangers are charcoal dust, sparks, heat radiation, falls, pinched, charcoal sprinkle, noise, electric high pressure, explosion, fire, hot material, exposed to chemicals, inhaling chemicals, steam, leaks in drum steam, hot water, excess gas pressure and embers. The rate based on hazardsources in the boiler division has Extrim Risk levels (8%), High Risk (14%), Moderate Risk (35%) and Low Risk (43%). Risk assessment based on the type of hazard in the boiler division have risk levels ranging from high to the lowest score is the danger of Mechanical (25%), Electrical hazard (10%), chemical hazards (6%) and physical hazards (59%).
Pengelolaan sampah merupakan permasalahan yang umum dialami masyarakat perkotaan. Desa Pageragung, Walantaka, Kota Serang juga mengalami masalah pengelolaan sampah yang disebabkan tidak tersedianya tempat pembuangan sampah dan kurangnya kesadaran masyarakat dalam pengelolaan sampah. Kondisi ini membuat sebagian masyarakat membuang sampah tidak pada tempatnya. Program pengabdian ini bertujuan meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat akan bahaya sampah di masa mendatang. Peningkatan kesadaran dilakukan dengan cara memanfaatkan limbah rumah tangga menjadi pupuk organik cair sehingga mampu mengurangi sampah yang dihasilkan. Kegiatan ini dilakukan pada bulan Juni sampai awal Juli 2019 yang merupakan bagian program kerja KKM Universitas Serang Raya. Program pengabdian ini menghasilkan peralatan pembuatan pupuk cair dengan bahan baku limbah rumah tangga dengan memanfaatkan bioaktivator EM4 (Effective Microorganisms). Hasil dua kali uji coba diperoleh pupuk cair yang dapat dimanfaatkan untuk penyubur tanaman, terutama tanaman yang ada di pekarangan masyarakat. Pemanfaatan peralatan ini secara jangka panjang mampu menurunkan limbah rumah tangga dan mampu meningkatkan kesuburan tanaman masyarakat.
This study aims to create a queuing system engineering during peak hours. The analysis was done by using queuing theory method with M / M / S calculation. The calculation is to get the average service time, average waiting time, and queue structure. The result of this research is the average service time per person 5 minutes and average waiting per person 13 minutes The standard service time for each customer is two minutes.. The system engineering is done by making 2 queue lines, where the first line for the client queue that carries less than 2 transaction applications with 1 Teller and the second line for queue is more than equal to 3 application transactions with 3 Teller. Queue analysis based on consumer behavior is able to optimize bank services without having to add service servers.
Biaya material handling merupakan salah satu penyumbang biaya yang besar dalam proses produksi perusahaan. Seperti pada sebuah perusahaan manufaktur di Banten, biaya material handling pada tahun tidak sesuai dengan target yang telah ditetapkan perusahaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan memperbaiki aliran proses yang berhubungan dengan material handling. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode algoritma Computerized Relative Allocation of Facilities Techniques (CRAFT) yang mempunyai konsep melakukan pertukaran antar departemen berdasarkan biaya material handling. Data yang digunakan untuk penelitian ini antara lain biaya material handling, tata letak awal, frekuensi perpindahan barang, dan jumlah departemen yang tetap. Berdasarkan pengolahan data yang telah dilakukan perubahan tata letak yang dilakukan mampu mengurangi biaya material handling sebesar Rp. 298,320.00 dengan selisih jarak sebesar 26.400 meter. Pengaturan tata letak dengan memperhatikan biaya material handling mampu mengurangi total biaya proses produksi dan mengefisienkan aliran proses produksi.
Productivity measurement has an important role in evaluating and establishing the next strategy in increasing productivity levels. This study aims to determine the level of productivity of a refined sugar company and provide suggestions for improvements to increase the level of productivity. This research uses the Objective Matrix (OMAX) method with five ratio indicators, namely yield achievement, actual production achievement criteria, boiler natural gas consumption criteria, electricity consumption criteria, and employee absenteeism criteria. This study uses company data for 2018 in accordance with company recommendations. The results showed that for one year, the productivity values and performance index differed each month. The performance index with the highest point was in February, which reached 426.3% and in May, which reached 306%. Based on the traffic light system, ratio 1 has six minimum performance periods, ratio 2 has eight minimum performance periods, ratio 3 has four minimum performance periods, ratio 4 has four minimum work periods, and ratio 5 has five minimum work periods. Improvement steps that can be done to improve the actual achievement of production are the provision of regular training to enhance skills and cooperation between operators, improvement of maintenance management systems, development of air circulation, and supplier evaluation. The OMAX method can identify performances that have below standard production, and recommendations for improvement can be prioritized on the ratio that experiences the most substandard performance.
Abstrak --Persaingan industri kertas semakin ketat dengan banyaknya industri atau perusahaan yang bergerak dalam industri yang sama dalam bersaing mendapatkan dan mempertahankan pelanggan. Permasalahan yang terjadi saat ini di CaCO3 Section pada Perusahaan Kertas adalah belum tersedianya jadwal induk produksi (Master Production PENDAHULUANIndustri di Indonesia berkembang dengan pesat menimbulkan persaingan diantara industri manufaktur untuk mencapai keuntungan yang maksimal dan menggunakan sumber daya yang efektif. industri manufaktur dihadapkan pada berbagai masalah keterbatasan faktor-faktor produksi seperti material, kapasitas mesin, metode yang digunakan dalam proses produksi, modal, dan sumber daya manusia. Sehingga semua faktor produksi tersebut harus dikelola dengan manajemen yang baik.Faktor-faktor produksi dalam industri manufaktur perlu memperhitungkan kapasitas produksi yang paling optimal agar tidak kekurangan maupun kelebihan persediaan barang yang diproduksi. Metode penjadwalan produksi induk (MPS) merupakan dasar pertimbangan untuk memastikan jumlah produk dapat memenuhi permintaan pelanggan dan penjadwalan produksi induk (MPS) memiliki peranan yang sangat penting dalam pencapaian tujuan perusahaan (Jonsson and Ivert, 2015) (Gamsterer, 2015).
