Abstrak: Salah satu cara peningkatan mutu lulusan SMK Nasional adalah dengan melaksanakan pendidikan kelas industri bekerjasama dengan PT Astra Honda Motor. Oleh karena itu perlu dideskripsikan: (1) perencanaan, (2) pelaksanaan, (3) evaluasi, dan (4) faktor pendukung dan penghambat pelaksanaan; pendidikan kelas kerjasama. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian studi kasus. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada Semester ganjil 2016/2017 di SMK Nasional Malang. Hasil penelitian menggambarkan terdapat kerjasama yang berkategori baik antara kedua pihak dalam hal: (1) perencanaan, (2) pelaksanaan, dan (3) evaluasi, dan (4) mendapat dukungan yang positif dari komite sekolah dan warga sekolah (guru, staf administrasi, dan karyawan), serta industri. Faktor penghambat terungkap dari faktor siswa, yaitu meliputi: motivasi dan semangat belajar yang rendah.Kata-kata Kunci: kerjasama, SMK, kelas industri, PT. AHM Abstract: The Cooperation between Vocational High School and Industry (Case Study of Educational Industrial Class of SMK National Malang and Astra HondaMotor). One way to improve the quality of SMK Nasional graduates is to conduct educational industrial class in cooperation with PT Astra Honda Motor. Therefore, it is important to describe: (1) planning, (2) implementation, (3) evaluation, and (4) supporting and inhibiting factors of the implementation of education industrial class. This research uses a qualitative approach, particularly case study research. The research was conducted in odd semester of academic year 2016/2017 at SMK Nasional Malang. The results of the study illustrate good collaborations between the two parties in terms of: (1) planning, (2) implementation, and (3) evaluation, and (4) achieving positive support from school committees and school members (teachers , administration staff, and employees), as well as industry. The inhibiting factors are revealed from the student factors, which include: motivation and low learning spirit.

Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui kekuatan tarik aluminium 5083 hasil pengelasan GMAW dengan pengelasan posisi 1G dengan variasi kuat arus dan debit aliran gas pelindung. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian eksperimental dengan variasi kuat arus sebesar 90, 125, dan 160 A dan debit aliran gas pelindung sebesar 14 L/menit dan 16 L/menit. Pengujian kekuatan tarik sampel dilakukan dengan standar uji ASTM E 8M-04. Hasil pengelasan menunjukkan variasi aliran gas pelindung mempengaruhi kekuatan tarik. Kekuatan tarik tertinggi dan terendah berturut-turut adalah 21,04 kg/mm 2 dan 9,14 kg/mm 2 yang diperoleh dari pengelasan dengan arus 125A dan 90A dengan debit aliran gas pelindung 16 L/menit dan 14 L/menit. Bentuk patahan aluminium 5083 dengan pengelasan arus 90A dan aliran gas 14L/menit menunjukkan perpatahan getas.Kata-kata Kunci: variasi kuat arus, debit aliran gas pelindung, las GMAW, aluminium 5083, Posisi 1G Abstract: The Analysis of Tensile Strength of Aluminium 5083 that Welded by GMAW with 1G Position with Variation of Electric Current and Gas Flow Rate.The purpose of this study was to determine the tensile strength of 5083 aluminum GMAW welding results with a welding position 1G with strong variations in flow and the flow of protective gas. The method used was experimental research with variations in current of 90, 125, and 160 A and shielding gas flow rate of 14 L/min and 16 L/min. The tensile strength of samples was testedusing the test standard ASTM E 8M-04. Welding results showed that variations in protective gas flow affected tensile strength. The highest and lowest tensile strength was 21.04 kg/mm2 and 9.14 kg/mm2 respectively, obtained from welding currents of 125A and 90A with protective gas flow rates of 16 L/min and 14 L/min. The 5083 aluminum with a welding current of 90A and gas flow of 14L/min had a brittle fracture.

Pengelasan busur listrik elektroda terbungkus cocok digunakan untuk pelat-pelat datar. Namun untuk benda pejal sulit untuk dilakukan, apabila digunakan untuk benda pejal, maka, hasilnya kurang baik. Salah satu solusi untuk mengelas benda pejal yaitu menggunakan pengelasan gesek. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kekuatan tarik hasil pengelasan gesek (friction welding) dengan variasi kecepatan putar, durasi gesek dan tekanan serta mengetahui bagaimana struktur mikro hasil pengelasan gesek (friction welding). Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan model one-shot case study dan analisis deskriptif. Analisis deskriptif meliputi hasil uji tarik dan struktur mikro hasil pengelasan gesek. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang dilakukan, nilai kekuatan tarik yang paling tinggi dihasilkan pada variasi kecepatan putar 2850 Rpm, durasi gesek 60 detik pada tekanan 8 Mpa. Sedangkan untuk hasil kekuatan tarik yang paling rendah yaitu dihasilkan pada variasi kecepatan putar 2850 Rpm, durasi gesek 80 detik pada tekanan 8 Mpa. Hasil foto mikro menunjukan bahwa tidak ada perubahan fase pada hasil pengelasan gesek hanya terjadi penghalusan partikel Mg2Si pada daerah Zpd dan Zpl, sedangkan pada daerah Zud memiliki bentuk partikel Mg2Si yang sama dengan spesimen tanpa perlakuan.

Abstract: Regional labor productivity, in 2015 showed that labor productivity in East Java Province was still below the national figure (68.74 million). The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of using work gloves on the productivity of workers in Restaurant X Malang City. The research design was included in experimental using a quasi-experimental model with a cross sectional approach. The results of the calculation of the Paired Sample T-test data Pre-test and Post-test show that the sig. equal to 0.000 less than α equal to 0.05. The conclusion that can be drawn is that there is an effect of working gloves on the productivity level of workers in Restaurant X Malang City. Abstrak: Produktivitas tenaga kerja secara regional, pada tahun 2015 menunjukkan produktivitas tenaga kerja di Provinsi Jawa Timur masih di bawah angka nasional (68,74 juta). Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemakaian Sarung Tangan Kerja terhadap produktivitas para pekerja di Restoran X Kota Malang. Rancangan penelitian termasuk dalam eksperimental menggunakan model eksperimen semu dengan pendekatan Cross Sectional. Hasil perhitungan uji Paired Sample T-test data Pre-test dan Post-test menunjukan bahwa nilai sig. sama dengan 0,000 kurang dari α sama dengan 0,05.  Kesimpulan yang dapat diambil adalah ada pengaruh pemberian Sarung Tangan Kerja terhadap tingkat produktivitas pekerja di Restoran X Kota Malang.

The highly synthetic plastic waste makes worrisome problems for the biosphere, so the use of bioplastic was applied for reducing this problem. Biocomposite based cassava starch-carrageenan blend with nanoclay reinforcement has great potential to increase their properties. The research objective was to evaluate the biocomposite properties in the presence of nanoclay added to starch/carrageenan blend matrix composite. The method was an experiment research using addition various nanoclay content as much as 2.5%, 5.0%, 7.5%, and 10.0% (wt/wt) into starch/carrageenan blend matrix. The procedures include a biocomposite synthesis using the casting methods and characterized of biocomposite properties using XRD, FTIR, SEM, and TGA. The mechanical strength was measured on a tensile strength tester. The results show that the nanoclay addition into starch/carrageenan matrix affects the structure, tensile strength, and thermal stability. This result shows that the addition of nanoclay into starch/carrageenan based matrix affects the mechanical properties, thermal stability through structural change. Graduates of the Mechanical EngineeringEducation Study Program are expected to work as educational staff, instructors, and able to work in the industry. However, in fact, many graduates want to do entrepreneurship in the field of mechanical engineering. So, it is necessary to make changes through the development of lifebased subject teaching material in the field of welding. This study aims to develop, provide, and test the feasibility of entrepreneurship textbooks in the field of welding. Based on expert validation and feasibility test from the user, it is concluded that life-based teaching materials in the field of welding is feasible and can be used in the learning activities at the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Universitas Negeri Malang, East Java, Indonesia. Then students can implement the knowledge to make an iron craft and market/sell it to the community.
