Durante décadas, o ensino da leitura teve como foco práticas mecânicas de Decodificação. O ensino dessa competência linguística, com base nesse norte, concedia primazia à reprodução mecânica de conteúdos e informações. Essa posição esteve presente nos livros didáticos. Nos anos 80, aparece uma vasta quantidade mudanças nas práticas pedagógicas do ensino de Língua Portuguesa. Rompe-se, assim, com tendências mecanicistas e tecnicistas. Com isso, surge uma nova concepção de leitura como construção de sentido, acompanhada de novos enfoques e estratégias de ensino. Esses novos paradigmas têm sido adotados pelos mais recentes Livros Didáticos de Língua Portuguesa. Este trabalho tem como objetivo verificar quais são as concepções de leitura subjacentes aos Livros Didáticos de Língua Portuguesa adotados pela Secretaria de Educação do Estado de Pernambuco (1979-2012). Decorrente disso, pretende-se: a) verificar quais as concepções de linguagem subjacentes a esses manuais didáticos; b) verificar o tratamento dado à leitura e à diversidade textual.
Neste trabalho, apresentamos os resultados de uma entrevista realizada com a Professora Dr.ª Lívia Suassuna. Essa entrevista traz à diversos aspectos atinentes ao trabalho pedagógico do ensino da produção de texto, tais como: os contributos dos postulados linguísticos para o ensino da produção de texto, a mais recente noção de produção de texto, os reflexos das distintas concepções de linguagem sobre o ensino da produção de texto, a formação de produtores de texto autônomos e proficientes etc.
<p>Este trabalho contextualiza os resultados de uma entrevista realizada com a Professora Maria Auxiliadora Bezerra acerca da evolução histórica do trabalho pedagógico do ensino de língua materna, bem como sobre a evolução histórica dos materiais didáticos de Língua Portuguesa. A entrevistada é Doutora em Estudos Linguísticos Româncios, com foco no âmbito da Sociolinguística e da Dialetologia Românicas pela Université de Toulouse-le Mirail. Por dezenove anos, foi professora da Universidade Federal da Paraíba - UFPB (1977-1996), onde atuou na Graduação em Letras e na Pós-Graduação em Linguística (Mestrado e Doutorado). Desde 2002, é professora da Universidade Federal de Campina Grande - UFCG, atuando na graduação e na pós-graduação. Suas produções acadêmicas estão concentradas no âmbito da Linguística Aplicada, focando, sobretudo, nas seguintes temáticas: ensino de língua materna, ensino da leitura e da escrita, percurso histórico da metodologia do ensino de língua materna no Brasil, evolução histórica dos livros didáticos de Língua Portuguesa no Brasil, avaliação da aprendizagem, léxico etc. Possui diversos artigos científicos publicados, bem como diversos livros organizados no campo da Linguística Aplicada, entre eles, podemos destacar: "O Livro Didático de Português: múltiplos olhares", "Gêneros Textuais e Ensino", "Análise Linguística: afinal, a que se refere?", "Estudar Vocabulário: como e para quê?" etc. </p>
