This research aims to determine job satisfaction and motivation as mediating the relationship between teacher certification and principal supervision of teacher performance. The research design used a quantitative approach to causality. To obtain research data using documentation instruments and distributing questionnaires online. The sample used in the study was 215 respondents. The basis for determining the sample is oriented towards a non-probability sampling approach using a purposive sampling formula. To test the mediating effect of satisfaction and the relationship between principal supervision and compensation on teacher performance, the structural equation modeling (SEM) approach with partial least squares analysis is used. Following the research results, Teacher certification has a significant effect on satisfaction and motivation, and teacher certification has no significant effect on teacher performance. The results of subsequent research and the principal's supervision have a significant effect on job satisfaction, motivation, and teacher performance. Furthermore, the results showed that job satisfaction could not mediate the relationship between teacher certification and principal school supervision of teacher performance for the first and second mediation tests. Then, for the third and fourth mediation tests, results were obtained, which stated that motivation could not mediate the relationship between teacher certification and supervision of school principals on teacher performance. Therefore, principal supervision has a significant effect on job satisfaction, motivation, and teacher performance.
This study aims to examine the effect of work discipline and work ethic on the performance of Sultan Agung Private Middle School teachers. The number of samples in this study were 31 teachers obtained by the census method. The instrument used in this study was a questionnaire that was distributed directly to the teacher as a respondent. Testing research instruments using validity and reliability tests. Data analysis used multiple linear regression, correlation, coefficient of demertination, simultaneous and partial test. The results of the research and hypothesis testing show that work discipline variables and the ethic of apes have a positive and significant effect on teacher performance. The empirical findings indicate that in order to improve work discipline at Sultan Agung Pematangsiantar Private Middle School there needs to be a transparent system in recruiting permanent teachers who only teach at Sultan Agung Pematangsiantar Private Middle School so that the teacher focuses on his/her work. Then to improve the work ethic of Sultan Agung Pematangsiantar Private Middle School teachers, the principal as the leader should be able to provide personal and organizational motivation so that every teacher who works can maintain a balance of work ethic competently. Furthermore, to improve performance, every teacher should have the characteristics of self-enhancing potential so that the consistency of teacher professionalism can develop.
In order to replace all students in Indonesia, the minimum competency assessment is administered in 2021. The evaluation includes literacy, literacy and financial literacy. This study seeks to examine the attitude of teachers to the minimum assessment of competence or known as the minimum competence assessment (AKM). A descriptive qualitative method with a statistical method was used in this research. There were 34 teachers at Sultan Agung Senior High School in Pematangsiantar, Indonesia (SMA Sultan Agung). The participants therefore received questionnaires. Questionnaire statements distributed through Google form. The delivery of questionnaires via Google's Covid-19 form, which prevented the scientist from conducting face-to-face research with its participants. There were 12 items on the questionnaire given. There are 4 question items for each component. Overall, the results of the teachers' research attitudes towards the assessment of minimum skills achieved a maximum score of 60 and a minimum score of 12. After the data are analyzed, more teachers agree that in the implementation of the AKM they are looking for the issues themselves. There were 18 teachers (48.6%) in the group who agreed on the statement, which was a sharp contrast to those teachers who disagreed, i.e. (2.7 percent). The teachers therefore really want to know about AKM. With numerous references to AKM on the Internet, it helps teachers to practice AKM.
Pada era digitalisasi saat ini, strategi pemasaran pada sektor UMKM dituntut untuk beradaptasi dengan cepat sesuai dengan perkembangan teknologi dan kebutuhan konsumen yang semakin kompleks. Marketing digital menjadi suatu hal yang wajib dari tahun ke tahun baik oleh perusahaan mikro, kecil maupun perusahaan besar. Salah satu cara untuk beradaptasi dan mengembangkan bisnis yang saat ini sedang popular adalah dengan penggunaan content marketing berbasis media sosial dan orientasi pasar. Tujuan utama penelitian mengetahui pengaruh peran media sosial dan orientasi pasar terhadap kinerja bisnis sektor UMKM yang ada di Kota Pematangsiantar. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian kepustakaan dan lapangan dengan pendekatan kuantitatif kausalitas. Pengumpulan data di lapangan menggunakan dengan kuesioner yang diukur dengan beberapa pertanyaan terkait media sosial, orientasi pasar dan kinerja bisnis. Untuk analisis data menggunakan metode PLS-SEM dan teknik pengumpulan data memakai proportionate stratified random sampling, sehingga sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 240 responden. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan media sosial dan orientasi pasar memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap kinerja bisnis UMKM di Kota Pematangsiantar.
The increase in product market share cannot be separated from the connectivity of the marketing system and media used. Marketing channels play an important role in increasing sales both in the short and long term. This study aimed to determine the role of social media in increasing the market share of MSME products in Pematangsiantar City. The research design used a literature study and field study models using a qualitative approach with a one-shot model. The research location was in 8 districts in Pematangsiantar City. The population in this study were MSME players scattered in 8 districts in Pematangsiantar City. The samples were collected using a non-probability sampling technique with purposive sampling technique, so that a total sample size of 240 respondents were obtained. Moreover, the data analysis technique used in this study was data analysis with a data reduction model that was obtained from data collection and data display. The results of this study concluded that the use of social media was very dominant in MSME players in the micro sector and Instagram was one type of social media that was often used. Furthermore, the results of the study also suggested that the time factor was the basis for MSME players using social media as a medium for promoting their products.
