<p>In this study, it was aimed to investigate the impact of different missing data<br />handling methods on DINA model parameter estimation and classification<br />accuracy. In the study, simulated data were used and the data were generated<br />by manipulating the number of items and sample size. In the generated data,<br />two different missing data mechanisms (missing completely at random and<br />missing at random) were created according to three different amounts of<br />missing data. The generated missing data was completed by using methods<br />of treating missing data as incorrect, person mean imputation, two-way<br />imputation, and expectation-maximization algorithm imputation. As a result,<br />it was observed that both s and g parameter estimations and classification<br />accuracies were effected from, missing data rates, missing data handling<br />methods and missing data mechanisms.</p>
Position effects may influence examinees' test performances in several ways and trigger other psychometric issues, such as Differential Item Functioning (DIF) .This study aims to supply test forms in which items in the test are ordered differently, depending on their difficulty level (from easy to difficult or difficult to easy), to determine whether the items in the test form result in DIF and whether a consistency exists between the methods for detecting DIF. Research Methods: Methods of Mantel Haenszel (MH) and Logistic Regression (LR) have been taken into consideration to identify whether the items in the tests involve DIF.

Tip hata ve güç oranlarının belirlenmesi amaçlanmıştır. I. Tip hata ve güç oranlarının belirlenmesi simülasyon çalışmasıyla yapılmıştır. Anahtar Kelimeler: Değişen Madde Fonksiyonu, I. Tip Hata Oranı, Güç Çalışması ABSTRACT. In this study Type I Error rates and power study of several differential item functioning determination methods were investigated for several conditions. For this purpose simulation studies were conducted for methods which belong to Classical Test Theory (CTT) and Item Response Theory (IRT). The results for Type I Error rates of differential item functioning determination methods under the framework of CTT show that none of manipulation criteria have significant effect on average Type I Error rates. For IRT based methods it has been observed that the increase of sample size causes the decrease of average Type I error rates while increasing the number of items has no significant effect on average Type I Error rates, and that the equal ratio of reference and focal sample sizes cause lower average Type I error rates. The results for power study for both differential item functioning determination methods of CTT and IRT show that the increase of sample size and the magnitude of differential item functioning cause the increase of average power rates. No significant effect of the number of items on average power rates could be observed.
The simulated data were analyzed by using DINA models. Data simulation and analyses were conducted by using R 3.0 with CDM package. The output files were organized for parameter estimation, item fit and classification accuracy for both main and interaction effects. By using DINA analysis model obtained from mean values of "Absolute Mean Bias" (MOY) to estimate g parameter, sample size, number of items and levels of g and s parameters of significant effect were observed. s parameter estimation obtained from the mean values MOY, sample size, level of the correlation between attributes and level of the s and g parameters of a significant effect were observed. By using DINA analysis model obtained from mean values of RMSEA, sample size, number of item, number of attribute and levels of g and s parameters of significant effect was observed. By using DINA analysis model obtained from mean values of "Correct Classification Rate (CCR)", number of item, number of attribute and levels of g and s parameters of sig...
