Background: Kumite is a physical contact fight in a karate match characterized by short explosive and intermittent movements. Kumite needs endurance, power, and agility. To achieve optimal performance, special training must be programmed. Purpose: This study aims to test the content validity of the HIIT training program that was created in a special preparation to improve the dominant motor components, namely endurance, power, and agility in the performance of Kumite athletes. Methods: This is development research with a quantitative approach. This research was carried out in 3 stages. The first stage was to analyze journals, eBooks, and textbooks to design a HIIT program. This was followed by the second stage in the form of the Delphi technique by meeting directly with experts to conduct an assessment of the HIIT program created. The third stage is data analysis using the content validity ratio (CVR) formula to test content validity. Participants consisted of 10 experts and documents. Results: The results of the content validity test using the content validity ratio (CVR) formula found that all assessment items from 10 experts showed CVR values of 0.8 and 1.00. In other words, the assessment results can be categorized as having high content validity.
Conclusion:The HIIT training program in special preparation to improve the dominant biomotor components of endurance, power, and agility developed by the author has high content validity so it is suitable for use in karate athletes, especially Kumite.
The study purpose. The online learning system, media, and resources used by lecturers to achieve volleyball learning goals are known to be not optimal. This study aimed to develop an e-learning video media that can be used by students as a learning resource to learn the material for upper serve, jump serve, and floating serve in volleyball games.
Materials and methods. The research subjects were students who were divided into treatment groups and control groups where each group consisted of 40 people. The research method used was an experimental method with a before-after research design (one-group pretest and posttest design). A rubric test is an instrument used to measure the effectiveness of video media in improving student service skills.
Results. The results of the research and data analysis found that the service skills (upper serve, jump serve, and floating serve) in the treatment group with the help of e-learning video media were better than in the control group who did not receive e-learning.
Conclusions. The treatment group has better service skills than the control group. During the Covid-19 pandemic, it is recommended for lecturers to use e-learning video media in teaching volleyball service material.
The purpose of this research is to produce a new product in the form of censorship media and video assistant referee (VAR) in assisting referee leadership in a championship to achieve fair play. This research uses the Research and Development (RD) method from Sugiyono using ten steps. The place of research was carried out at the All-Indonesian Volleyball Association, Deli Serdang Regency. The population and sample in this study were 36 Deli Serdang Regency volleyball players with a small sample of 6 people, a large sample of 16, and a comparison sample of 14. For the referee sample, six nationally licensed and nine regional licensed referees. The results of this study include Net and VAR sensors used to develop a player error detection tool when smashing and blocking. The results are obtained from the data from expert validation, including: (1) Material experts 92.3% with the "Very Eligible" category. (2) Media Experts 92.5% with the "Very Eligible" category. In large-scale trials on referees and athletes, the resulting percentages were 90.8% and 92.7%, respectively, while in the comparison trial, the percentage produced was 92.5%.
This research is part of the research on the development of drama video learning media to train students' chronological thinking skills. This study aims to explain the results of the analysis stage of why video drama media is needed by educators and students in the history learning process at SMAN 7 Padang. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method by using interview and observation techniques to collect and obtain data. The results of this study are in the form of a description of the stage of analyzing the needs of media for learning drama video at XI/F at SMAN 7 Padang on the Padri War material.
