Background:Teenagers have greater risk for health problems, especially sexuality and reproduction problems. Government has already developed Adolescent Friendly Health Services (AFHS). This program has already run in primary health care to overcome teenager's health problems. On the other hand, this program does not seem to accommodate some of teenager's expectation. Therefore, we need to conduct a research for knowing what kind of health services are suitable with teenager's perspective. Objective: This study was design to explore type of AFHS which were suitable in adolescent's perspective. Method: In this qualitative study, phenomenology was used for the approach. This study was conducted from September-October 2014 in primary health care region of Magelang. The participants for this study were 10-19 years old teenagers and they had already received adolescent friendly health services. The participants had been chosen using purposive sampling. The data was collected using focus group discussion, observation and indepth interview. Colaizzi's analysis had been used for data analysis manually. Result and Discussion: Adolescent's perspective about AFHS consist of three theme. The first theme was adolescent perspective on existence of AFHS which was still various. The second theme was the perception of adolescents on the AFHS given in adolescents.The result was that not all six AFHS programs were given. The Third theme was adolescents hope for the result was AFHS health workers should be able to provide an explanation of the problems experienced by adolescents, be friendly, and the need to involve youth, teachers, parents and the community in AFHS services. Health Services that are conducted in teenagers, should be confidential,the service time was able to adjust school hours, use short massage, email for communication and information. Conclusion: adolescent's have various expectations of the AFHS services in the future. Health services in accordance with the expectations of adolescents can be developed as a modified form of health care that can be implemented in AFHS primary health care.
The purpose of community service (PPMT) is to form a breastfeeding support group (KP-ASI) consisting of health cadres and supported by the head of village and midwives of health center so as to improve the coverage of exclusive and a food making skills for escort or MP-ASI, in addition to this activity, aims to hone the skills of students in the Community service program. Implementation method with participatory community empowerment through Apraissal Participatory Rural model is approach in the process of empowerment and improvement of community participation, activities conducted in the form of socialization of activities on all elements of the village related, the establishment of the structure of KP-ASI, lactation management training, assistance cadres practice management skills of lactation in Posyandu, training of MP-ASI skills, guidance of cadres in Posyandu practice of MP-ASI skills, evaluation or monitoring of activities through the lactation management competition and MP-ASI between cadres as a form of evaluation. The results of this activity in the form of the structure of KP-ASI organization with SK from the village head, there is an increase in the knowledge and skills of cadres in the management of lactation and MP-ASI. The test result of pre posttest in the test with value P = 0.00 (< 0.05) indicates that the knowledge of participants significantly increased. The results of the competition between cadres in the presentation of MP-ASI show the result that cadres can properly prepare MP-ASI. Data from village Midwives stated that there was an increase in BREAST feeding and MP-ASI in Sidoagung village.
Bullying merupakan bentuk perilaku agresif yang sering dilakukan anak atau individu secara sengaja dan berulang-ulang untuk menyakiti anak atau individu lain demi mendapatkan kepuasan dan kebahagiaan. Orang tua berperan sangat penting untuk membentuknya dan selanjutnya mampu mencegah timbulnya perilaku yang tidak baik seperti bullying. Tujuan dari pengabdian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan orang tua dalam mencegah bullying, demi mewujudkan desa layak anak. Metode yang digunakan adalah Rural Apraissal, dengan pendekatan dalam proses pemberdayaan dan peningkatan partisipasi masyarakat, yang tekanannya pada keterlibatan masyarakat dalam keseluruhan kegiatan. Hasil yang didapatkan dari kegiatan pengabdian ini yaitu terjadinya peningkatan pengetahuan pada orang tua sebanyak 23. Kesimpulan, meningkanya pengetahuan dan keterampilan orang tua dapat mencegah bullying pada anak, sehingga akan mendukung terwujudnya desa layak anak.
The involvement of teaching materials for the ongoing teaching and learning activities in schools is very important, especially teaching materials that have appeal and are arranged creatively for use by students. This attraction will encourage students to be more enthusiastic about learning. The motivations of students are inseparable from the role of educators in choosing teaching materials that are appropriate to the needs of their students. Educators also need to develop self-creativity to be able to create creative teaching materials. Teaching materials in the form of teaching books are generally in the form of textbooks and student worksheets so that the tendency of students to be lazy and bored in learning appears. Therefore we need teaching materials that have more appeal so students can easily understand. One of the creative teaching materials that can be developed is a three-dimensional textbook that can be used for students entering the age of children to adolescents. This textbook is intended to motivate students to be more active in reading so that they are able to link the examples presented in the book into real conditions in the surrounding environment.Keterlibatan bahan ajar bagi berlangsungnya kegiatan belajar mengajar di sekolah sangat penting, terutama bahan ajar yang memiliki daya tarik dan disusun secara kreatif untuk digunakan peserta didik. Daya tarik inilah yang mendorong peserta didik untuk lebih bersemangat belajar. Termotivasinya peserta didik tidak lepas dari peran pendidik dalam memilih bahan ajar yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan peserta didiknya. Pendidik juga perlu mengembangkan kreativitas diri untuk bisa menciptakan bahan ajar yang kreatif. Bahan ajar berbentuk buku ajar saat ini umumnya berupa buku paket dan lembar kerja siswa sehingga muncul kecenderungan peserta didik untuk malas dan bosan dalam belajar. Oleh karena itu diperlukan bahan ajar yang memiliki daya tarik lebih, agar mudah memahami peserta didik. Salah satu bahan ajar kreatif yang dapat dikembangkan yaitu buku ajar berbasis tiga dimensi yang dapat digunakan kepada peserta didik memasuki usia anak-anak hingga remaja. Buku ajar ini ditujukan untuk memotivasi para peserta didik agar lebih giat untuk membaca sehingga mampu mengkaitkan contoh-contoh yang disajikan di dalam buku ke dalam kondisi nyata di lingkungan sekitarnya.
ABSTRAKBuah kepel (Stelechocarpus burahol (Blume) Hook.& Thomson) diketahui mengandung senyawa saponin dan flavonoid, buah kepel merupakan tanaman yang memiliki aktivitas antibakteri dan antiinflamasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuat perasan buah kepel dan menguji aktivitas penyembuhan pada luka terbuka. Perasan buah kepel dibuat dengan variasi konsentrasi perasan yaitu 20%, 40%, 60%, dan 80%. Untuk kontrol negatif digunakan aquades dan kontrol positif digunakan Betadine® (Povidon Iodine). penelitian dimulai dari penyiapan bahan uji,dengan melakukan identifikasi tanaman, kemudian membuat sediaan perasan buah kepel dan membagi perasan buah kepel tersebut menjadi beberapa konsentrasi, hewan uji dikelompokkanmenjadi 6 kelompok. Semua data kuantitatif diuji secara statistik menggunakan Anova dan dilanjutkan dengan Tukey Test. Aktivitasmeningkat pada kelompok perasan 20%, 40%, 80%, dan 60%, sedangkan yang tertinggi terjadi pada kelompok kontrol positif. Hasil uji statistik dengan parameter persentase luas penyembuhan luka, pada kelompok perasan konsentrasi 60% dan 80% menunjukkan hasil yang berbeda bermakna dengan kelompok kontrol negatif (p<0.05), sehingga dapat diambil kesimpulan bahwa perasan buah kepel konsentrasi 60% dan 80% mempunyai aktivitas penyembuhan luka. This research purposed for made juice of fruit kepel and test of open wound healing process activity. Juice of fruit kepel is made with variety of concentration, which 20%, 40%, 60%, and 80%. Negative control used aquadest and positive control used Betadine® (Povidon Iodine). This type of research is experimental research, procedure start from the preparation of test materials, first identifying plants, then make fruit juice of kepel and divide into several concentration, followed by grouping into six group of test animals. All quantitative data were statistically analyzed using Anaylsis of Variance (Anova) and continued with Tukey Test, The lowest activity on the negative control and increase on the group of juice with concentration 20%, 40%, 80%, and 60%, higher activity on the positive control. With wound healing broad parameters result that the group fruit juice of kepel concentration 60% and 80% showed the statistically analyzed was more significant (p<0.05)
