Lightning is one of the primary sources that cause failure on over head transmission system. It can lead to the transmission line insulator to be over voltage. Commonly, transmissions lines are equipped with ground wire and consist of one or two ground wire which it is depending on tower construction. Over voltage on the transmission line can occur in two ways viz., direct lightning strike on phase line and ground wire produce propagating wave to both sides the phase line and result in damage on insulator. Direct lightning stroke on ground wire or the tower structure of transmission can cause phenomenon back flashover (BFO) on insulator. The lightning current characteristic is distinguished in lightning maximum current and steepness of lightning current. This paper discusses influence of in different lightning characteristics on BFO in extra high voltage transmission line in simulation using ATP draw. The lightning surge currents of IEC and VDE standards were injected to the ground wire and phase lines. As the implementation, this paper used the data of extra high voltage transmission line of 275 kV, Galang - Binjai, North Sumatra Province, Indonesia.
The focus of this research was to identify responsibilities, tactics, support factors and barriers to the leadership of the Principal in improving the quality of education at SD Negeri 6 Prabumulih. This research uses descriptive qualitative approaches of evaluation, interview and recording strategies for data collection. This approach is used to obtain information on the leadership position of the key policies, promoting and inhibiting factors in improving the standard of education at SD Negeri 6 Prabumulih. In this analysis, 4 people were interviewed. The outcome of the research is that the principal has played a role in the performance of his duties, namely to serve as managerial, entrepreneurial developer, and to supervise teachers and training workers. The policy of the Principal is to prepare, execute and review. Supporting elements, such as teachers, have a high degree of knowledge and duty to carry out their duties. The inhibiting factors encountered are external, e.g. the distance from home to school. Student parents do not recognize Curriculum 13.
Blended learning is a learning model that combines face-to-face learning in classroom with on line learning. This research is a descriptive study that aims to describe the ability of statistical reasoning of prospective teachers through the Blended Learning models. The subjects in this study were 40 students of second year of Mathematics Education Department at Universitas PGRI Palembang in Academic Year 2018/2019. Data collected through written tests and interviews. The test aims to reveal the statistical reasoning of prospective teacher students. The interview aims to explore further about students’ statistical reasoning through Blended learning. The results showed that the statistical reasoning of prospective teachers after applying Blended Learning was included in the good category.
The aim of this study was to describe and analyze: (1) the main quality improvement strategy for SD Negeri 3 Rambang Dangku, Muara Enim; (2) Restrictions on the principle of quality improvement in SD Negeri 3 Rambang Dangku, Muara Enim; (3) solutions in improving the quality of SD Negeri 3 Rambang Dangku, Muara Enim. The method used in this research is part of the qualitative descriptive research group. The results of this study include: (1) the leadership strategy to improve the quality of teachers at SD Negeri 3 Rambang Dangku has been carried out with a properly implemented strategy; (2) the main obstacle to improving the quality of education is that there are still teachers who have little awareness of improving the performance of teachers, and (3) the solution adopted by the Principal of SD Negeri 3 Rambang Dangku to overcome the constraints of improving teacher performance is to make continuous efforts to overcome existing barriers by holding peer tutors between teachers to overcome barriers to how many teachers who are not fluent in the use of ICT.
This study aims to determine whether work motivation and training have an influence on the employee performance at the Inland Water and Ferries Transport Polytechnic of Palembang. The population of this study were 146 employees from Inland water and ferries transport Polytechnic of Palembang. The research sample consisted of 60 employees from Inland water and ferries transport Polytechnic of Palembang. The method used is the descriptive analysis techniques and multiple linear regression. From the analysis test results show that, 1) There is a positive effect of work motivation on employee performance. This means that the higher of the employeework motivation, the employee performance at the Inland water and ferries transport Polytechnic of Palembangwill increase; 2) There is a positive effect of training on employee performance, where the more employees are given training, it can improve employee performance at the Inland water and ferries transport Polytechnic of Palembang; 3) There is a positive effect of work motivation and training on the employee performance of the Inland water and ferries transport Polytechnic of Palembang. Thus work motivation and training can affect employee performance, where work motivation and training can affect employee performance with a contribution of 83.9% while the remaining 16.1% is influenced by other factors that were not examined in this study. Keywords: Work Motivation, Training, Employee Performance
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
