de fomento: CAPES RESUMO Os conceitos referentes à Ciência, Tecnologia e Sociedade (CTS) estão emergindo e consolidandose diante sua força e relevância no cotidiano da população. O presente artigo visa colaborar com o Projeto de Investigação Iberoamericano em Avaliação de Atitudes Relacionadas com a Ciência, a Tecnologia e a Sociedade (PIERCTS) investigando através de sua metodologia de aplicação de questionários, as crenças de docentes do CEFET/RJ e graduandos acerca das interações e relações CTS. Os resultados revelaram índices atitudinais aquém do esperado por parte dos indivíduos apontando o déficit de formação desses professores e futuros professores acerca da temática CTS. Sendo assim recomenda-se a reforma dos currículos de formação de licenciandos e novas iniciativas de formação continuada para capacitá-los ás práticas pedagógicas sob a ótica CTS. O presente estudo objetiva demonstrar o potencial pedagógico da utilização das personagens presentes na animação “Procurando Dory” para o ensino de Ciências e Biologia. O filme citado anteriormente foi escolhido, no presente estudo, já que apresenta relevantes aspectos relacionados com a vida marinha dos animais e que podem facilmente ser discutidos no ensino de Ciências e Biologia. Para isso, foram selecionados oito principais personagens presentes na animação, a saber: Dory, Marlyn, Nemo, Tio Raia, Crush, Hank, Destiny e Bailey. Com o material apresentado nesse estudo os professores de Ciências e Biologia podem discutir variados conteúdos com seus alunos, como por exemplo: Morfologia, Alimentação, Distribuição geográfica, Aspectos antropológicos, Relações ecológicas, Reprodução, Características biológicas e Habitat, dos principais personagens existentes no filme. Espera-se que os professores de Ciências e Biologia tenham acesso a essa atividade e que possam, de acordo com os seus anseios, trabalhar as diferentes características biológicas que se fazem presentes nos personagens aqui exibidos.
As unidades de conservação (UC) apresentam potencial educativo principalmente por proporcionar um aprender vinculado ao cotidiano. Produções e disseminações de vídeos possibilitam atingir um grande número de cidadãos. Esse foi um trabalho descritivo a respeito do projeto Conexão Ambiental/CEFET-RJ, desenvolvido por docentes e discentes do Programa de Pós-graduação em Ciência, Tecnologia e Educação, que consiste na produção de documentários ambientais com o intuito de divulgação científica sobre locais de reconhecida relevância ambiental. Foram produzidos dois curta-metragem, com aspectos históricos e de biodiversidade do Parque Nacional da Tijuca, uma UC de Mata Atlântica. Observa-se que o uso do documentário ambiental mobiliza os indivíduos para uma aproximação e sensibilização sobre o espaço retratado.
A Base Nacional Comum Curricular é um documento do Ministério da Educação que apresenta definições de aprendizagens essenciais a serem desenvolvidas na Educação básica pelos estudantes. O objetivo desse trabalho foi realizar uma busca no documento a respeito da abordagem para o uso da fotografia na educação básica. Essa pesquisa teve uma abordagem qualitativa e caracterizada como pesquisa documental. A fotografia está presente nas três etapas do ensino, educação infantil, ensino fundamental e ensino médio, ainda que tenha maior presença no ensino fundamental. A área de linguagens se destacou, especialmente no componente curricular língua portuguesa, seguida por língua inglesa e arte. A análise realizada em torno da fotografia na BNCC pode ser um estímulo para que práticas que incorporem a fotografia sejam desenvolvidas com mais frequência na educação básica.
