Educate is a process encourages children to grow and develop until the child becomes an adult physical and spiritual. Parents have the primary role as educators in the child's life while the teacher as educators who are limited by the hours of teaching. Elementary school children in its development have unique characteristics. Cognitive theory by Piaget stated that elementary school age children in general are at the concrete operational stage. Psychosocial theory by Erikson group elementary school age children into the industry versus inferiority stage. The moral theory of Piaget explained that
The study was backed by a low interest in the students' reading of SKI subjects. The use of this library is a new strategy in learning as an effort to improve the quality of learning by synergize between learning activities and libraries as a media source and learning media. The study aims to determine whether or not the influence of the school library is influenced by the reading interest in the class XI religious SKI subjects in MAN 2 Banyuwangi. The type of research used is a correlational descriptive method of using a quantitative approach. To collect research data, authors use observation methods, interviews, polls and documentation. The subject of this study amounted to 41 respondents taken through probability sampling data retrieval techniques and cluster sampling instruments. The data analysis techniques used are validity tests and reliability tests.
Thematic learning approaches have been implemented since the KTSP curriculum was established in 2006. The implementation of thematic learning approaches then undergone improvements in the 2013 curriculum. Thematic learning approaches that were originally applied using web models or netted, were refined into integrated or integrated models. An integrative thematic model was chosen because it was predicted to be able to accommodate and touch in an integrated manner all the emotional, physical, and academic dimensions of SD / MI students both in the classroom or in the school environment. The implementation of an integrative thematic approach in learning opens up opportunities for teachers to develop the most appropriate strategies and methodologies. Teachers are required to be more creative in presenting a learning atmosphere that leads students to be able to understand the reality of life they live every day, in other words, integrative thematic learning models are relevant to accommodate differences in individual characteristics and learning environments of students. The superiority of the integrative thematic learning model described above basically corresponds to the child-friendly school/madrasah model which is jurisdictionally regulated in the Regulation of the State Minister for Women's Empowerment and Child Protection Number 8 of 2014. In the industrial revolution 4.0, teachers should be able to become agents of change. Teachers should be able to answer every challenge and solve problems that occur at school. Preliminary study learning issues of the 2013 curriculum on grade five SDN 1 Sumberbaru is students have less writing skills. Therefore, the research aims to improve poetry writing skills based on local wisdom Banyuwangi through Copy The Master (CTM) method with a media image in grade five students SDN 1 Sumberbaru Banyuwangi. This research is a classroom action research. The instruments used are portfolio reflections, product valuation sheets, observations and documentation. The result of this research was an increase in the results of the students poetry with a gain score of average value of cycle 1 and a 7 cycle of 15.89. The process assessment results also showed an increase of 48.15% in the category of skilled and highly skilled students. The research conclusion is that there is an increase in poetry writing skills students.
Kebudayaan ditransmisikan dari satu generasi ke generasi selanjutnya. Untuk mewujudkan proses transmisi kebudayaan tersebut tentunya peran sekolah sebagai agen sosialisasi budaya sangat vital. Oleh sebab itu, SD Negeri 1 Sumberbaru melakukan inisiasi pro aktif untuk mewujudkan hal tersebut melalui kegiatan pemberdayaan siswa sebagai agen budaya Banyuwangi. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah untuk melaksanakan proses transmisi kebudayaan Banyuwangi kepada siswa sebagai generasi penerus. Adapun selanjutnya, siswa didorong untuk berperan aktif dalam proses sosialisasi kebudayaan Banyuwangi di lingkungan keluarga, lingkungan sekolah, dan lingkungan masyarakat. Metode pengabdian yang digunakan pada kegiatan ini adalah pelatihan pemberdayaan siswa melalui berbagai kegiatan intrakurikuler, kokurikuler dan ekstrakurikuler. Hasil dari seluruh kegiatan yang telah terlaksana menunjukkan bahwa siswa memiliki motivasi yang baik untuk menjadi agen budaya Banyuwangi. Hal tersebut ditunjukkan dengan kesadaran diri siswa untuk mempelajari lebih banyak budaya Banyuwangi serta menyebarluaskannya melalui berbagai akun media sosial maupun pada lingkungan keluarga, sekolah dan masyarakat.
