The study purpose. This study aims to evaluate the effect of the Tabata aquatic training method program in increasing the muscle power of beginner level athletes. Materials and methods. The researcher used a mixed method in this study. There were twenty swimming athletes (n = 20, age: 14.40 ± 1.18 years, height: 169.20 ± 3.18 cm, weight: 62.20 ± 2.26 kg) who agreed to participate in this study and were divided into two groups. The treatment group (n = 10) received the Tabata aquatic program and the control group (n = 10) swam every day without participating in any physical activity. The Tabata aquatic program was carried out for 9 weeks with a frequency of 3 times a week. After implementing the Tabata aquatic program, 10 athletes were interviewed. This study applied a quantitative research instrument, including squat jumps, and a qualitative research instrument, including individual in-depth interviews lasting for 30 minutes each. Analysis of quantitative data using IBM SPSS version 25.0 and qualitative data using thematic analysis was applied. Results. Quantitative study results showed that there was a significant increase in the squat jumps test (leg muscle power) in the treatment group and vice versa, there was no increase in the control group. However, in qualitative research results, most participants mentioned that the Tabata aquatic program is a fun training method and has a positive effect. Conclusions. After carrying out the Tabata aquatic program for 9 weeks, we confirmed that this training method has a great impact on improving athletes’ leg muscle power in swimming.
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hasil tingkat kebugaran jasmani siswa ekstrakurikuler di SMAN 1 Surade, apakah terdapat di kategori baik atau kurang baik. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh anggota ekstrakurikuler olahraga di SMAN 1 Surade dengan jumlah responden 23 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif. Metode yang digunakan adalah survei, adapun teknik pengambilan data menggunakan tes, hasil penelitian tersebut diketahui bahwa tingkat kebugaran jasmani siswa ekstrakurikuler olahraga di SMAN 1 surade yang menyatakan pada kategori baik sekali dengan persentase 0%, pada kategori baik dengan persentase 0%, pada kategori sedang dengan persentase 86,96%, pada kategori kurang dengan persentase 13,04 %, dan pada kategori kurang sekali dengan persentase 0%. Beberapa saran yang berkaitan dengan penelitian ini antara lain: 1. Bagi sekolah sebaiknya perlu mendukung semua kegiatan ekstrakurikuler yang ada, terutama ekstrakurikuler olahraga supaya bisa menciptakan pemain yang profesiona dari sekolah, 2. Bagi guru atau pelatih, hendaknya memberikan metode melatih yang mudah dimengerti oleh pemain dan selalu memotivasi pemain ketika berlatih dan bertanding.
Children's health could be monitored through basic motion skills, for example, running, walking, jumping, sliding, galloping, skipping, hopping, and leaping. Children could be determined as healthy if they can perform those movements properly aligning with their development phase. This study is a part of research development in order to develop test instruments of basic locomotor skills through puzzle-based activity. This study aims to describe elementary school students' health levels through 8 basic locomotor skills measured by the test instruments. The data were collected through a descriptive approach. The participants consisted of 60 students in a class, Ciracas, East Jakarta. The study shows that 35 students (58,33%) received a good score in walking, 29 students (48,33%) received a good score in running, while 38 students received a good score in jumping, hopping, leaping, galloping, skipping, and sliding. According to the results, students' health levels in this study varied as 25 students (42%) received overall good scores, 20 students (33%) received overall average scores, while 15 students (25%) received an overall bad score.
Pendidikan merupakan suatu kebutuhan manusia yang berlangsung seumur hidup. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kesiapan implementasi strategi pembelajaran Pendidikan jasmani berdasar kurikulum 2013. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif yang diintepretasikan dengan cara deskripsi, yang menyajikan data hasil penelitian berupa rangkaian kata-kata. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah guru penjasorkes dan kepala sekolah. Objek dalam penelitian ini adalah perencanaan, pelaksanaan pembelajaran, dan evaluasi pembelajaran penjas. Pengambilan data dilakukan secara interaktif, analisis pada model ini menggunakan model analisa Miles dan Huberman yang terdiri dari pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan dan verifikasi. Instrumen utama dalam penelitian ini menggunakan pedoman observasi. Dan instrumen pendukungnya adalah wawancara serta dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa Implementasi Satrategi Pembelajaran Penjas Berdasarkan Kurikulum 2013 adalah baik, implementasi tersebut dapat dilihat berdasarkan hasil penelitian dari rencana pembelajaran adalah baik, pelaksanaan pembelajaran baik dan proses penilaianya juga baik. Dengan hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan Implementasi Strategi Pembelajaran Penjas Berdasarkan Kurikulum 2013 adalah baik.
