This study aims to determine the level of child creativity and the effectiveness of various models of learning in early-childhood in developing the creativity of children aged 5-6 years after the city of Serang, Banten. The research was conducted from April to July 2017. The research method used was the mixed method with the research population is all children aged 5-6 years in Serang city, Banten. The sample was 120 children from 30 PAUD institutions, consisting of two groups, which were 60 children from early-childhood with teacher-centered learning model and 60 children from PAUD with student-based learning model. The results showed that the creativity level of children aged 5-6 years in Serang city is categorized as high and there is no significant difference of creativity of children aged 5-6 years after the model of student-based learning with teacher-centered learning model. However, the level of creativity of children with student-based learning model is higher than the teacher-centered learning model. This study concludes that student-based learning model (center, area, group, or angle) is more effective in developing the creativity of children aged 5-6 years. Recommendations for institutions, communities, stakeholders, and researchers are further discussed within the article.
Early childhood learning motivation requires guidance and encouragement from older people as a driving motivator. Learning activities in schools are less innovative and interactive, so learning media is needed to increase children's learning motivation. The purpose of the study was to determine the effect of learning video media on the learning motivation of children aged 5-6 years. This research refers to experimental quantitative research using a nonequivalent control group design model. Data collection techniques using observation instruments, as well as documentation. Data analysis used SPSS 22 with paired samples test. The subject of this research was carried out at RA Asy Syifa for testing the instrument grid with a total of 30 children with the division of RA AR Ar Rahman class RA B as the experimental group totaling 15 children and RA Daarul Mukhlisin class RA B as the control group totaling 15 children. The results showed that the effect of learning video media on experimental group children before getting treatment (pre-test) got an average value of 33.87, and after getting treatment (post-test), the score was 36.80. The use of learning video media has a good influence in increasing the learning motivation of children aged 5-6 years. In addition, computer-based learning videos make children feel happy and interested, developing aspects of child development. The findings of this study contribute to knowledge about the importance of developing learning videos in early childhood education.
Data dan informasi saat ini merupakan kebutuhan yang tiap saat bergerak dan dikonsumsi oleh masyarakat. Dalam sudut pandang pembangunan, salah satu kebutuhan data, tercermin dalam Rencana Kerja Pemerintah Tahun 2018 yaitu meningkatnya kualitas dan kuantitas Rencana Tata Ruang serta terwujudnya tertib pemanfaatan dan pengendalian pemanfaatan ruang. Kebutuhan pemanfaatan data dalam penyusunan rencana tata ruang meliputi wilayah darat, laut, dan wilayah udara serta dibawah permukaan bumi. Hal ini membutuhkan data dan informasi yang spesifik dan beragam. Oleh karena itu diperlukan standard dalam tiap spesifikasi produk informasi geospasial yang dihasilkan. Salah satu contoh permasalahan yang terjadi ditemukan saat melakukan integrasi horisontal maupun vertikal. Seringkali ditemukan data dengan perbedaan skala, namun perlu dilihat kembali spesifikasi minimal yang disyaratkan oleh Rencana Tata Ruang. Proses merge, overlay, edge matching antar wilayah juga menjadi masalah Rencana Tata Ruang dengan dua atau lebih wilayah yang berdekatan dengan klasifikasi yang berbeda. Proses integrasi tata ruang secara vertikal, juga dapat menjadi masalah, apabila kelas yang disusun tidak dapat dilakukan generalisasi dalam skala besar ke skala kecil maupun menyusun informasi rinci dari skala kecil ke skala yang lebih besar. Metadata dapat memberikan gambaran awal apakah pengguna dapat menggunakan sebuah produk informasi geospasial atau menolak penggunaan produk tersebut. Metadata terdiri dari beberapa paket seperti informasi set entitas, representasi spasial, sistem referensi, ekstensi metadata, identifikasi, informasi konten, informasi distribusi, kualitas data, katalog penyajian, batasan penggunaan, skema aplikasi dan informasi pemeliharaan data. Paket informasi kualitas dalam metadata, terdiri dari elemen scope, lineage dan report. Secara rinci, report dalam metadata menggambarkan detil kondisi kualitas data contohnya sub elemen Completeness, Logical Consistency, Positional Accuracy, Thematic Accuracy dan Temporal Acuracy. Pembangunan nasional salah satunya perencanaan tata ruang merupakan salah satu program yang memerlukan data dan informasi geospasial. Tiap informasi geospasial harus dilengkapi dengan metadata agar pengguna mendapatkan informasi yang pasti. Oleh karena itu tiap produsen data perlu menyusun metadata dari produk yang dihasilkan. Kelengkapan informasi metadata menentukan kepastian pengguna dalam pemanfaatan data dan informasi geospasial.
