Abstract. Incompatibility between workload with work capacity is one of main problem to make optimal result. In case at the office, there are constraints to determine workload because of non-repetitive works. Employees do work based on the targets set in a working period. At the end of the period is usually performed an evaluation of employees performance to evaluate needs of employees. The aims of this study to design a workload questionnaire tools to evaluate the efficiency level of position as indicator to determine needs of employees based on the Indonesian State Employment Agency Regulation on workload analysis. This research is applied to State-Owned Enterprise PT. X by determining 3 positions as a pilot project. Position A is held by 2 employees, position B is held by 7 employees, and position C is held by 6 employees. From the calculation result, position A has an efficiency level of 1,33 or "very good", position B has an efficiency level of 0.71 or "enough", and position C has an efficiency level of 1.03 or "very good". The application of this tools giving suggestion the needs of employees of position A is 3 people, position B is 5 people, and position C is 6 people. The difference between the number of employees and the calculation result is then analyzed by interviewing the employees to get more data about personal perception. It can be concluded that this workload evaluation tools can be used as an alternative solution to evaluate needs of employees in office.
Karanganyar District Hospital uses a system of shift work is divided into three, namely the morning shift, afternoon shift and night shift. This study analyzed the levels of general fatigue experienced by nurses on the morning shift, afternoon shift and night shift using methods Bourdon Wiersma and questionnaire Subjective Rating Self Test and measurement physical workload using physiological methods of work. Based on the results obtained that the afternoon shift is a shift that has a level of fatigue the most high based on 3 parameters measured is speed, accuracy and constancy with methods Bourdon Wiersma Test and the morning shift and afternoon shift as a shift that has the workload of most high based on the results of measurements of the pulse to determine the amount of energy consumption, oxygen consumption and% CVL to the nurse and then questionnaire.
Climate change causes an increase in rice plant pests, one of them is brown planthopper. The effort through an assembly of black rice potential lines was made by mutation induction of Cempo Ireng black rice, but it’s only able to shorten the age of plant without being able to improve rice resistance to brown planthopper. Jeliteng as a new high yielding variety of black rice that is resistant to brown planthopper biotype 1 makes it worthy of being a potential parent source. Reciprocal crosses needed to be carried out to get offspring that have superior traits from both parents. This research aims to get F1 generation from the potential lines of black rice crossing with the Jeliteng variety and their reciprocals to improve local varieties of black rice. The research was conducted in the experimental field of the village of Gawanan, Sukoharjo Regency from August 2020 to April 2021. The planting materials were the Jeliteng variety as male parents while 6 potential lines of black rice 8, 13, 44, 46, 51, 52, and Cempo Ireng variety as female parents. Crosses were conducted by hand crossing technique on 14 sets. The data were analyzed descriptively and using the Chi-square test. The results showed that the crossing set could be crossed and produced fertile F1 generation. The length of grain, the width of grain, and the weight of a grain of the F1 varied in all sets. The skin colour of the F1 generation in all sets was mostly straw yellow with brown spots.
CV. Valasindo is a furniture industry where the production process is still done manually. In the construction area, the operator have to work with static posture as well as gain exposure of vibrations caused from the machine that is being operated. It is feared to affect the health and safety of workers. Work posture assessment is done to determine whether the workstations in the construction area need to be improved. Work posture assessment is carried out using Quick Exposure Check. This method was chosen because it is simple and also considers observer and worker’s point of view. Quick Exposure Check also considers other factors such as vibration, the perceived difficulties of workers, and the stress level. Based on the results, all the work stations in construction area are on the range of exposure level 59%-70%. It means that all the workstations need an improvement in any time soon
CV Valasindo is furniture industry that produces a wide range of wood product. The production process in CV. Valasindo is devided in two areas, preparation of materials area and production area. This research is focused on work posture of the production area’s workers. The production area itself consists of work stations such as assembly, construction and finishing. The production area was chosen because on the production process in this area is still done manually by the operator. Additionally, on the production area is also still present a series of no ergonomic work posture, both on the work station construction, assembly and finishing. The purpose of this research is to identify a work posture on the production area and doing an improvement to lowers the risk of musculoskeletal injuries. Based on the results of the assessment work posture against 18 work stations at the production area, the seat assembly work station it is known that has the highest risk of musculoskeletal injuries with a score of REBA 9, OWAS 3 as well as score NBM 75. Based on work by posture assessment method of QEC, REBA, OWAS and reinforced with method NBM then the improvement will be focused on work station assembly seat. In this study, the improvements done by designing a working facility in the form of tables and chairs work. Based on the results of the design work facilities have been simulated and the result is the risk of musculoskeletal injuries that used to be high risk decrease to be low
