Livestock sub-sector is part of the agricultural sector. Livestock sub-sector has a strategic role in the lives of human resource development as well as the Indonesian economy. This role can be seen from the function of farm products as a provider of animal protein is essential for the development and growth of the human body. One animal products that provide high protein are beef and also, has a relatively expensive price and demand for beef is also high, especially in Medan. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors that influence consumer behavior in buying beef in the market district of Medan Petisah. The sampling method is done by purposive sampling method. Respondents in this study is the household customers who are buying beef in Petisah Market. Samples taken are as many as 60. The data collected primary and secondary data. The results showed that the factors that influence consumer behavior in buying beef is affected by the variable needs and situation of purchase, this can be seen from the t-test for the variable needs of consumers of beef amounted to 12 591 larger than t-table is 1671 and for situation variable purchase 3,483 t count larger than t-table is 1,671.
This research aims to know what are the factors that influence the demand and supply of red pepper in MMTC market Medan Medan Estate sub district percut sei tuan deli serdang district. This research was carried out in July 2017. This research using sampling method with way of census and purposive sampling, in this research sam 20 for trader and sample for consumer 40. Sample in this research is merchant selling red chilli and consumer shopping red chilli in MMTC highway market Medan in village medan estate sub district percut sei host district deli serdang. Simultaneously consumer opinion has a significant influence in this case because if the opinion of red chili consumers is high it can affect the demand because the size of the opinion will be able to affect the demand for goods tersebuat.. Factors affecting the supplyple used is of red chili in Pasar Raya MMTC Medan simultaneously have a positive effect is the purchase price of red pepper, production cost, profit. Partially production cost give significant influence to red chilli supply in Pasar Raya MMTC Medan.
The purpose of this study was to determine what factors influenced the demand for ornamental plants in Bangun Sari Village. The sample in this study is the ornamental plants in Bangun Sari Village. The population of crop farmers consists of 315 farmers. Samples taken as much as 10% of the total population of 32 farmers. Then the sample taken in this study is consumers from32 ornamental plat farmers who are buying at the study site, determined purposively, namely 1 consumer from sample farmers. Based on the Uji F results simultaneously the price of ornamental plants, income and tastes significantly influence the demand for ornamental plants in Bangun Sari Village. Based on the results of the Uji t that partially the price of ornamental plats and consumer tastes significantly influence the demand for ornamental plants and income don’t significantly influence the demand for ornamental plants in Bangun Sari Village, Tanjung Morawa District, Deli Serdang Regency.
<p>This study aims to determine the income level of fishermen anchovy catchers and analyze the factors that influence it. The research was conducted by purposive sampling method. The result showed that : Production Cost Variables had a negative and insignificant effect on the income of skipper fishermen, this was due to diminshing returns. Variable Amount of Labor has a positive and significant effect on the income of skipper fishermen, this is because if the greater the amount of work, the speed in obtaining the catch (production) is more effective. Variety of Sea Trips has a positieve and significant effect on the income of fishermen, this is because if the distance goes to sea, then the amount of income of fishermen’s fishers increases. Variable Experience of skipper fishermen income, this is because if the longer or more business experience, then in managing business capital in obtaining results better and more accurate, so that income is maximized. Variable Production Costs, Number of Workers, Mileage, and Business Experience together influence the income variable.</p>
<p>This study was conducted to determine the effect of work discipline on employee productivity at PT. Perkebunan Nusantara IV (Persero) Pabatu Business Unit. The population in this study were all employees of the department, engineering / processing, and general at PT. Perkebunan Nusantara IV (Persero) Unit Business Unit is 1031 people. the number of respondents used in this study were 104 people. The research was obtained from the results of the t test on the variables obeying all company regulations, namely 2.652> T table = 1.980 stating that complying with all company regulations had a positive and significant effect on employee work productivity. Effective use of time is 3,069 <Ttable = 1,980 stating that effective use of time has a positive and significant effect on employee work productivity variables. Responsibility for work and assignments is 5,467> T table = 1.980 states that work responsibilities and tasks have positive and significant to employee work productivity. The absentee level of 1,200 <Ttable = 1,980 has a positive and insignificant effect on employee work productivity. The simultaneous test results obtained are 262.880> 2.31, which states that work discipline simultaneously has a positive and significant effect on employee work productivity. And the R value obtained is 0.884. This figure shows that 88.4% of work productivity is explained by the variable work discipline.</p>
