This research is motivated by the low understanding of student concepts that affect student learning outcomes. The purpose of this study is to find out whether after applying the learning model of Discovery Based Learning with the help of digital LKS can improve students' concept understanding on dynamic fluid material. This type of research is a classroom action research consisting of three cycles consisting of four stages: planning, action implementation, observation/evaluation, and reflection. The results showed that there is an increase in students' concept understanding which is characterized by increasing student activity and student learning outcomes in each cycle. In the first cycle, the average percentage of student activity was 34.65% and the average score of learning outcomes was 39.56 with the number of successful students 9 students (23.68%). In the second cycle the average percentage of student activity increased to 62.94% and the average value of learning outcomes 60.12 with the number of successful students 15 students (39.47%). In the third cycle, the average percentage of student activity increased to 76.97% and the average score of learning outcomes was 80.79 with the number of successful students of 28 students (73.68%).
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
