Regional languages are cultural heritage that must be preserved. In the midst of such rapid developments, the habit of using Javanese language is an alternative to maintain the sustainability of regional culture. It's not surprising that many parents get used to the Javanese language to communicate with their children, both Javanese as the main language, or it is deliberately used for children, because getting children to use Javanese, especially the ability to use Javanese manners is easier if you get used to it from an early age. This study aims to analyze Javanese language habituation towards early childhood language development through literature study. The sources of this research are journals and books related to the theme. From this research, it can be concluded that Javanese language habituation is included in the scope of bilingualism which according to previous research will slow children's language development. one of the languages that the child learns will be weak because the child is dominant in the language he encounters more often. Keywords: Javanese language, early childhood, language development.
