Considerando as dificuldades nos processos de identificação, bem como os desafios e problemas relacionados à inclusão de alunos com altas habilidades/superdotação, este estudo apresenta os resultados advindos de um caso de uma criança com características expressivas de superdotação (11 anos e 7 meses, sexo feminino, 5º ano), dando enfoque às questões emergentes de um processo avaliativo/interventivo. Buscou-se relacionar as informações obtidas no caso com as principais problemáticas da área de altas habilidades/superdotação no que tange os processos de intervenção para inclusão escolar. Dessa forma, a análise do caso permitiu verificar a importância do diagnóstico precoce, assim como o impacto das intervenções no desenvolvimento sadio da criança com altas habilidades/superdotação. Espera-se, com este trabalho, fornecer subsídios para o aprimoramento dos processos de avaliação e intervenção dessas crianças, assim como enfatizar a importância da condução destes processos o mais cedo possível na vida do indivíduo, visando garantir que as estratégias de interações positivas possam favorecer seu desenvolvimento integral.
