Os principais autores da área de Gestão de Pessoas (GP), como Legge (2006) e Wilkinson, Bacon, Redman e Snell (2010), concordam que as pessoas assumiram papel estratégico e relevante nas organizações. Considerando que as políticas de GP precisam contribuir para um maior bem-estar e fortalecer a confiança dos colaboradores nas organizações (Mariotti & Souza, 2009; Nishii, Lepak, & Schneider, 2008; Turner, Huemann, & Keegan, 2008), esta pesquisa propôs-se a avaliar a relação existente entre essas variáveis segundo a percepção de 141 colaboradores de uma multinacional de tecnologia da informação. Foram feitas análises de regressão linear múltipla e foi utilizada modelagem por equações estruturais (SEM) por meio do método da máxima verossimilhança, de modo a testar os modelos propostos de relações entre as variáveis. Desta forma, foi possível identificar e confirmar a influência das políticas de GP na confiança do colaborador e no bem-estar no trabalho, assim como a influência da confiança nesse bem-estar. Esta pesquisa contribui para o avanço de estudos da área de Gestão de Pessoas e Comportamento Organizacional ao trazer uma relação entre um conjunto de variáveis ainda não explorado e, para a organização pesquisada, serve como um diagnóstico, subsidiando os gestores da empresa em suas tomadas de decisão no afã de melhorar o bem-estar de seus colaboradores.
Esta pesquisa propôs-se a avaliar a relação existente entre as políticas de Gestão de Pessoas (GP), a confiança do colaborador na organização e o bem-estar no trabalho, segundo a percepção dos colaboradores da filial de Brasília de uma multinacional de tecnologia da informação, avaliada como uma das cinco marcas mais valiosas do mundo. O estudo é descritivo e explicativo quanto aos fins e quantitativo quanto à sua natureza. A amostra foi composta por 141 colaboradores. O instrumento de aplicação, tipo questionário, foi composto por cinco escalas validadas cientificamente: escala de percepção das políticas de GP (EPPGP), escala de confiança do empregado na organização (ECEO), escala de envolvimento com o trabalho (EET), escala de satisfação no trabalho (EST) e escala de comprometimento organizacional afetivo (COA). Foram feitas análises de regressão múltipla linear e modelagem por equações estruturais (SEM), de modo a testar os modelos propostos de relações entre as variáveis. Desta forma foi possível identificar a forte influência da percepção das políticas de GP tanto na confiança do colaborador na organização quanto no bem-estar no trabalho. Ademais, a confiança se mostrou capaz de também influenciar o bem-estar no trabalho, principalmente por um de seus fatores, denominado reconhecimento financeiro organizacional. O modelo testado no SEM apresentou um ajuste pobre, ensejando a necessidade de re-especificação em estudos futuros. Não obstante, a forte influência das políticas de GP no bem-estar no trabalho e na confiança também foram confirmadas. Esta pesquisa contribui tanto para a produção acadêmica nas áreas de Gestão de Pessoas e Comportamento Organizacional quanto para a tomada de decisão dos gestores da organização pesquisada.Palavras-chave: Políticas de Gestão de Pessoas.
