Implant design refers to the three-dimensional structure of the implant, with all the elements and characteristics that compose it. Dental implants are subjected to various force magnitudes and directions during function. Because implants function to transfer occlusal loads to the surrounding biologic tissues, functional design objectives should aim to manage biomechanical loads to optimize the implant-supported prosthesis function. Thus, the primary functional design objective is to manage biomechanical loads to optimize the implant-supported prosthesis function. An implant has a macroscopic body design and a microscopic component of implant design. The microscopic features are most important during initial implant healing and the initial loading period. The macroscopic implant body design is most important during early loading and mature loading periods. The product used by the implant team may increase or decrease the risk of screw loosening, crestal bone loss, implant body bone loss, peri-implantitis, esthetics of soft tissue drape, implant failure, and implant body fracture. This article shall help the learner in making a judicious informed decision regarding the different factors governing the reduction of overall stress in implant fixtures and, thus, providing a better treatment to their patients. Search strategy: A literature search was conducted using MEDLINE from 1975 to 2014 to identify studies, from simulated laboratory models, animal, to human, related to this topic using the keywords of implant biomechanics, implant macrodesign, thread pitch, thread geometry, thread depth, thread width, and implant crestal module.

With the advancement in the technology, this era of Internet has witnessed a bloom in the Social Networking sites popularity. Social Networking sites facilitate the users with features like sharing personal information, making friends, developing new relationships, giving rise to new privacy concerns, etc., allowing only reliable people in one's network. Here comes in the concept of 'Trust'. How can we assure that a person is trustworthy and what factors account to build the trust between two persons, known or unknown to each other? This requires an exploratory insight into users' intention to share information. This paper aims to understand the factors of trust, trust levels based on trust ratings from others and probability of accepting the other person in his/her network.
Gingival recession beyond grade III and grade IV level involving furcation defects can lead to tooth loss if not intervened at appropriate time. The treatment options include scaling and root planing, Furcation-plasty, Tunnel preparation, Root separation and resection. The chief complaint of the patient was pain in the upper left first molar because of grade III furcation involvement. Since it was a four rooted molar, the treatment of choice was hemisection of the tooth and extraction of the distal half following endodontic treatment. As the second molar was mesially tilted the prosthodontic rehabilitation was done with a hybrid prosthesis involving a full coverage conventional porcelain fused to metal retainer on the hemisected molar and a resin bonded partial coverage retainer on the tilted second molar. The resultant prosthesis is termed as "Hybrid prosthesis".
Water is very essential for all forms of life. Most of the time our civilizations were generated on the water bank. The Gomati river is located in south of the Himalayan foot hills near Madhogani Tanda village in Pilibhit district in northern Uttar Pradesh. It flows southeastward for almost 940 km through nine districts of Uttar Pradesh. Large amounts of human waste, agricultural and industrial pollutants are discharged in this river as it flows through the highly populated regions of Uttar Pradesh. Lakhimpurkheri, Lucknow, Sultanpur and Jaunpur are major cities located along this river; they are a major source of municipal and domestic waste and sewage water causing pollution in this river. However in recent times, the conditions of water quality are very badly affected. The reasons for this due to increase in population growth, rapid industrialization and agriculture methods resulting deterioration of water quality. The water pollution has many negative consequences such as destruction of marine habitat, development of various fatal human diseases such as cholera, malaria, tuberculosis, etc. Therefore, water pollution is indeed a major and serious global topic of concern. Water Pollution matters because it harms the environment on which we depend. Destroying the environment ultimately reduces the quality of our own lives. Research survey concluded that large number of drains are responsible for pollution in river Gomti that enter directly into the river carrying untreated industrial and domestic waste. In this present article, an attempt is being made to review the various steps should be taken on personal basis to tackle the problem of Gomti river water pollution.
: Globalization has brought sweeping changes in socio-economic-cultural realms in our society. One of the ways in which human beings are influenced by globalization is through technology, of which the internet has a wider reach than any other medium. The phenomenon of the internet has created 'virtual spaces' in which adolescents spend increasing amounts of time. This study on adolescent identity formation and internet usage was conducted on a random sample of 120 (60 respondents were boys and 60 were girls) adolescent from different technical institutes of Kanpur city. It was found that 90.83 per cent respondents use computer at home and maximum respondents were interested in facebook on internet, whereas, 78.33 per cent respondents give their opinion that internet give latest information, current affairs, latest update etc. and 71.66 per cent respondents give their opinion that internet increase their knowledge. The finding shows that 75.83 per cent respondents think that cyber and pornography increase higher rate of sexual aggression and greater risk of teenage pregnancy, 70 per cent respondents think that internet play an important role in their physical development, while 67.5 per cent of respondents stated that internet has a important in their identity formation, whereas, 66.66 per cent respondents think that internet create a platform of cyber bullying as well as 65 per cent of respondents satisfied with the present resources and opportunities.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
