Resumo A AIDS é uma manifestação clínica avançada da infecção pelo HIV. Gera imunodeficiência grave e inúmeras infecções associadas, podendo levar à morte. A disponibilidade da Terapia Antirretroviral (TARV) diminuiu a morbi-mortalidade do HIV/AIDS, mas seus benefícios dependem da adesão ao tratamento. Esta revisão integrativa da literatura seguiu a estratégia PICO para identificar os fatores associados à adesão à TARV em adultos. Foram consultadas as bases Medline, SciELO, Lilacs e PePSIC e incluídos artigos publicados entre janeiro de 2010 e dezembro de 2016. Foram analisados 125 artigos, quanto às características dos estudos, medidas de adesão e fatores associados. Os resultados mostraram grande variação na definição da adesão e no uso das medidas para seu monitoramento, além de inúmeros fatores associados à adesão. Os quais foram agrupados nas categorias: 1. variáveis individuais; 2. características do tratamento; 3. características da infecção pelo HIV/AIDS; 4. relação com o serviço de saúde e 5. apoio social. É importante que os serviços caracterizem o perfil dos usuários, sistematizem as medidas de adesão e avaliem regionalmente fatores associados à adesão, para a detecção precoce da não adesão à TARV e estabelecimento de planos efetivos de intervenção.
Resumo Dentre os fatores associados à adesão à Terapia Antirretroviral (TARV) em pessoas vivendo com HIV, destaca-se a religiosidade/espiritualidade (R/E). O objetivo deste estudo foi apresentar as evidências disponíveis sobre a relação entre a dimensão da R/E e a adesão aos antirretrovirais. Realizou-se uma revisão integrativa de literatura com buscas nas bases/bibliotecas CINAHL, LILACS, PePSIC, PsycINFO, PubMed, SciELO, Scopus e Web of Science. Foram selecionados artigos empíricos publicados entre janeiro de 2008 e junho de 2019, sendo recuperados 49 estudos após a aplicação dos critérios de inclusão/exclusão. Encontraram-se associações positivas, negativas e neutras entre R/E e adesão à TARV, evidenciando que a R/E é uma dimensão psicossocial que pode ser preditora da adesão aos antirretrovirais. O sentido dessa influência, no entanto, ainda não é um consenso na literatura científica. Recomenda-se que essas influências sejam compreendidas a partir de elementos contextuais dessa população e não apenas de marcadores pessoais.
O objetivo deste estudo foi refletir sobre as dificuldades e as possibilidades da psicoterapia on-line oferecida a estudantes universitários durante a pandemia da COVID-19. Trata-se de um estudo de caso exploratório relatado a partir de duas pacientes/clientes atendidas em um serviço de apoio psicológico existente em uma Universidade pública do Estado de São Paulo e que desenvolve ações de acolhimento estudantil. Os atendimentos na abordagem cognitivo-comportamental ocorreram de maneira remota ao longo de 2020 e início de 2021 junto a estudantes de um curso da área da saúde. Identificou-se que o atendimento psicoterápico breve nessa modalidade possibilitou acesso a recursos de acolhimento e enfrentamento em um momento de fragilidade por meio do desenvolvimento da autorregulação emocional, autoconhecimento e melhora na gestão de conflitos interpessoais e de sintomas de ansiedade motivados, sobretudo, pelo contexto de incerteza e de suspensão de aulas presenciais, estágios e atividades práticas. Os desafios trazidos para a psicoterapia relacionaram-se à impossibilidade do contato presencial entre terapeuta e paciente, a falhas na tecnologia de comunicação durante as sessões, dificuldade de controle do setting e, consequentemente, de manutenção do sigilo. Endereçamentos nos campos da psicoterapia e do acolhimento estudantil foram apresentados a partir dos casos atendidos.
Estudo transversal e descritivo, realizado em um ambulatório de doenças infecciosas e parasitárias de um hospital universitário, localizado em uma cidade de médio porte do interior do estado de Minas Gerais, realizado no primeiro semestre de 2017, com objetivo de identificar o perfil e os níveis de adesão aos antirretrovirais das pessoas vivendo com HIV/Aids. Utilizou-se: Questionário de caracterização elaborado para a pesquisa; Escala de Depressão, Ansiedade e Stress - Versão Abreviada; Cuestionario para la Evaluación de la Adhesión al Tratamiento Antirretroviral - Versão em Português; e Questionário de dados nutricionais e complementares. Realizou-se análise estatística-descritiva com distribuição de frequência e porcentagem de variáveis categóricas e medidas de tendência central e de dispersão de variáveis contínuas. Foram entrevistadas 190 pessoas, das quais 51,6% eram homens, média de 44,9 anos (+12,0), com baixa renda (64,7%) e baixa escolaridade (57,8%). A maioria tinha 10 anos ou mais de infecção (54,2%) e apresentava carga viral indetectável (68,9%). Conforme o registro na farmácia e o questionário de avaliação de adesão ao tratamento, foram considerados aderentes 11,1% e 69,0% dos entrevistados, respectivamente. Foram encontradas taxas altas de não-adesão, reforçando a importância dos serviços monitorarem a adesão aos antirretrovirais para a detecção precoce da não-adesão.
