Three atypical saline agglutinins were found in a serum and were identified
as anti-Vw, anti-Bp^a and anti-M(1). The patient is MN and the anti-M(1) is the first example
to be found in the absence of anti-M. The M(1) antigen was present in 16.7% of Negro
M-positive samples. One M(1)N S-s-U- sample was also detected.
