Introduction: Cyclophosphamide has wide spectrum usage as first-line drug in cancer chemotherapy that is why a detailed study of its effect on individual cell populations is of great interest for science and practice. The interaction of the nervous, immune and endocrine systems plays essential role in the homeostasis maintaining. The aim: This study aimed to investigate the ultramicroscopic changes that occur in the parathyroid glands and thymus of male rats after cyclophosphamide administration. Materials and methods: Twenty-four WAG matured male rats were divided randomly into two groups. The first group served as control and was provided 0.9% soluble sodium chloride. The second group received cyclophosphamide in a dosage 200 mg/kg of body weight of animal by intramuscular single injection. All animals were sacrificed on the 7th and 30th day after injection. Parathyroid gland and thymus specimens were dissected out and processed for electron microscopy. Results: The results showed that cyclophosphamide exposure caused marked ultramicroscopic changes in rats parathyroid glands and thymus. On the 7th day after immunosuppression, the nuclei of parathyrocytes have deep wavy invaginations, amount of the organelles that participate in the protein synthesis is reduced to a minimum in the cytoplasm of the chief cells. Characteristic feature is the appearance of numerous plasma cells and active macrophages in thymus. There is a tendency to normalization of the parathyroid structure on the 30th day after administration of cyclophosphamide and reduction of mitotic activity of lymphocytes in thymus, which points to the development of involution process. Conclusions: This data can be successfully extrapolated from experimental animals to humans.

L'ultramicroscopie des glandes parathyroïdes et du thymus des rats suite à l'immuno-stimulation Contexte. Le fardeau de l'immunodéficience et des maladies infectieuses augmente rapidement dans le monde entier. Il devient donc nécessaire de trouver des médicaments immunomodulateurs efficaces susceptibles de modifier la réponse du système immunitaire. Objectifs. Etudier les modifications ultramicroscopiques qui se produisent dans les glandes parathyroïdes et le thymus de rats après l'administration de l'agent immunomodulateur imunofan. Méthodes. Trente-six rats mâles matures WAG ont été divisés en deux groupes. Le premier groupe a reçu l'imunofan à une dose de 0,7 mg / kg de poids corporel de l'animal par injection intramusculaire. Le second groupe a servi de contrôle et a été fourni avec 0,9% de chlorure de sodium soluble. Les rongeurs ont été sacrifiés les 3-ème et 30-ème jours après l'injection et les échantillons ont été traités pour la microscopie électronique. Résultats. Les résultats ont montré que l'exposition à l'imunofan entraînait des modifications ultramicroscopiques marquées des glandes parathyroïdes et du thymus chez le rat. Предметом исследования в данной работе были клинико-нейросонографические сопоставления при перинатальном поражении ЦНС у доношенных новорожденных с задержкой внутриутробного развития (ЗВУР). Обследованы 46 новорожденных с задержкой внутриутробного развития по гипотрофическому типу. Нейросонография проводилось с помощью аппаратов Vivid-3 Pro (GeneralElectric, США). У новорожденных с тяжелой степенью задержки внутриутробного развития увеличенная полость прозрачной перегородки в сочетании с положительной зависимостью влияния размера третьего желудочка на величину большой цистерны свидетельствует о выраженной незрелости структур головного мозга. Визуализация увеличенной в размерах полости прозрачной перегородки у детей с перинатальным поражением ЦНС на фоне тяжелой степени задержки внутриутробного развития в сочетании с увеличением размеров большой цистерны и третьего желудочка при минимальном диапазоне изменений размеров левого бокового желудочка свидетельствует о более выраженной незрелости головного мозга и расценивается как истощение адаптационных резервов ликворосодержащих структур головного мозга у контингента детей с тяжелой степенью ЗВУР. Выявленные изменения являются основанием для катамнестического наблюдения у невролога детей с тяжелой степенью задержки внутриутробного развития и проведения нейросонографии для исключения отсроченного развития внутричерепной гипертензии. Timely appointment of therapeutic nutrition led to a clinical improvement in the state of the child.

Changements organométriques du thymus des rats après l'influence de xénobiotiques Contexte. La pollution de l'environnement et son influence sur le corps représentent un grand problème pour la médecine, car elles sont accompagnées d'une augmentation de l'incidence parmi la population. L'exposition chronique à certains xénobiotiques bien absorbés mais éliminés lentement peut entraîner leur bioaccumulation dans l'organisme vivant. Objectifs. L'étude a été menée pour décrire les modifications et les altérations organométriques survenant dans le thymus de rats mâles exposés au tryglycidyl éther ou au poly oxypropylènetriol. Méthodes. 40 rats mâles matures WAG ont été divisés de manière aléatoire en deux groupes. Le premier groupe a servi de témoin constitué de 8 animaux. Le deuxième groupe de 32 rats, chacun composé de 8 rongeurs, a été traité par gavage à l'aide de solutions aqueuses de TEPPT au 1/10 LD 50 converties à 5,75 g kg pendant 7, 15, 30 et 45 jours. Tous les animaux ont été sacrifiés au terme défini par le plan expérimental. Les échantillons de thymus ont été disséqués et des mesures des dimensions linéaires (longueur, largeur, hauteur) à l'aide d'un pied à coulisse numérique ont été prises. Aim: The research paper presents the characteristic of cytoarchitectonics of the thymus of intact white mature male laboratory rats. Topicality of the study is due to the need to clarify the data on the contribution of each type of thymus cells in the formation of its structure. The aim of the research was to determine the specifics of localization and ultramicroscopic structure of thymus cells in male mature Wistar laboratory rats. Material and Methods: The study was conducted using histological and ultramicroscopic methods on 10 mature male laboratory rats, weighing 130-150 g. Semi-thin (0.5-1 μm) and ultrathin (0.05-0.2 μm) sections were made on a microtome UMTP-4 (Ukraine), which were stained with 1% methylene blue solution with the addition of 1% sodium tetraborate solution. Histological analysis and photographic recording were performed using Olympus light microscope (Japan) and DSM 510 camcorder with magnification in 1000 times. Results: With a detailed study of the semi-thin and ultrathin sections in the thymus lobules the specifics of localization and ultramicroscopic structure of thymus cells were clearly identified. The features of localization and ultramicroscopic structure of epithelial, mesenchymal, vascular and hematopoietic thymus cells were determined from the point of view of their functional loads and interactions. Conclusion: The described structural peculiarities of the components of the thymus and their relative location in different zones reflect significant organ polymorphism, which must be taken into account in order to achieve the required level of objectivity in the result evaluation of simulated biomedical experiments.

In subacute experiment were uncovered organometric alterations of the matured male rat's spleen after the administration of 1/10, 1/100 LD 50 of polyether -tryglycidyl ether of polyoxypropylene triol. Rapid technology growth and its implementation in all spheres of the people's lives dictates the need for thorough study of the influence of different chemicals on human's health. This study was undertaken to elucidate the structural changes that occur in the matured rats' spleen experimentally induced by selected xenobiotic, exactly the linear dimensions and the weight of the rodents spleen. Were used morphometric, mathematical and statistical methods. Revealed changes of morphologiс data in comparison to control data shows high reactivity of the spleen in response to the induced xenobiotic. These data are useful for understanding the toxicological effects induced by investigated polyether and provide evidence for the mechanism of toxicity of the agent and how it impacts the immune system. Були виявлені органометричні зміни селезінки зрілих самців-щурів після введення 1/10, 1/100 ДЛ 50 поліефіру -тригліцидилового ефіру поліоксипропілентріолу в підгострому експерименті. Швидкий розвиток технологій та їх впровадження у всіх сферах життєдіяльності людей свідчать про необхідність ретельного вивчення впливу різних хімікатів на здоров'я людини. Це дослідження було проведено для з'ясування структурних змін, а саме лінійних розмірів та ваги селезінки гризунів, що відбуваються в селезінці тварин експериментально індукованих обраним ксенобіотиком. Були використані морфометричні, математичні та статистичні методи. Виявлені зміни морфологічних даних у порівнянні з контрольними даними свідчать про високу реакційну здатність селезінки у відповідь на діючу речовину.
