The aim of this study is to investigate the influence of different training activities on the development of the logical thinking of junior athletes who specialize in various sports. 131 students-athletes and 77 students-non-athletes aged 17-20 took part in the study. They were divided into two experimental groups (group A and group B) and one control group (group C). Group A included 69 students-athletes who were engaged in speed and power sports (boxing, freestyle wrestling, sprinting, hurdling, jumping, throwing). Group B included 62 students-athletes who were engaged in endurance sports (skiing, cycling, swimming). Group C included 77 students of higher education institutions who did not do sports. The study of the athletes' logical thinking was carried out according to the methodology of "Numerical series". It was found that the student-athletes who were engaged in endurance sports (group B) were registered to have significantly better (р<0.05-0.001) values of all three indicators of logical thinking (number of errors, speed of thinking and general assessment of the state of logical thinking) in comparison with the student-athletes who were engaged in speed and power sports (group A) and students-non-athletes (group C). Moreover, it was established that the students-non-athletes had a significant improvement in the indicators of logical thinking in comparison with the students-athletes who were engaged in speed and power sports (р<0.05-0.001).
The aim: The purpose of this article was to study the impact of Tae-Bo on the development of motor potential of students and its effectiveness in the process of extracurricular activities. Materials and methods: The experiment was conducted in the conditions of the educational process. An experimental group was formed, which was engaged in the traditional educational program of physical education and additionally three times a week, attended training in Tae-Bo. The control group was engaged in the traditional educational program on physical education in HEI. The following methods were used in the work to solve the research tasks: method of analysis and generalization of literature; surveys, questionnaires; methods of pedagogical observation and experiment; method of testing indicators of physical fitness; methods of mathematical statistics. Results: When comparing the indicators of external manifestation of physical qualities of students of control (n = 60) and experimental (n = 60) groups at the end of the formative experiment, statistically significant differences (p <0.05 and p <0.01) were recorded in tests to determine coordination, strength, endurance, flexibility. Conclusions: Thus, the introduction of a developed Tae-Bo training system in the extra-curricular process of HEI students contributed to the positive development of their motor abilities. Experimental work allowed to determine the place and role of modern Tae-Bo training in the extra-curricular process of HEI students.
Aim: Theoretically substantiate and experimentally test the method of using innovative technologies, aimed at improving the health of students in the process of physical education with the use of crossfit in medical institutions of higher education. Materials and Methods: The research was carried out within the framework of the discipline “Physical Education”, among students of 1-2 courses of medical specialties. In the experimental group, classes were held once a week for 90 minutes with the method of using crossfit for boys and girls, also there were additional extracurricular classes once a week (60 minutes). The control group was engaged in the usual program of physical education. Students of higher education institutions were offered a method of classes using crossfit tools. Results: In the educational process in higher education institutions, physical education is a way to achieve strategic goals by preserving the health of young people. An important aspect of our study is the use of innovative technologies in physical education process through crossfit. Crossfit refers to strength training and has an extreme system of general physical training, based on the alternation of basic movements in different sports. The crossfit training system allows you to easily adapt it for people with different levels of physical fitness. Students of higher education institutions were offered a method of classes using crossfit tools in physical education process. Conclusions: Thanks to the implemented methodology, the usage of functional all-around (crossfit), we proved that during our study, students who were engaged in the experimental method, improved their general physical condition, level of physical fitness and motivation to engage in physical culture and sports.
The aim: Is to study the dynamics of students' physical fitness level while differentiating physical education classes in accordance with their somatic health and nosology of diseases. Materials and methods: The paper presents the results of a study of the dynamics of the physical fitness indicators of students in the process of physical education. The study involved 660 students between the ages of 17 and 25. Testing of students' physical fitness was performed using the method of control measurements. Research methods included the theoretical analysis and generalization of scientific and methodical literature, pedagogical observations, testing, pedagogical experiment, and the methods of mathematical statistics. Results: At the end of the experiment, the students of the experimental groups (both male and female) showed authentically (р<0.05–0.001) better indicators of the control tests than the students of the control groups. Conclusions: It was established that the introduction of the original program of differentiating classes in accordance with the level of students' somatic health and nosology of diseases into the process of physical education has a positive effect on their physical fitness level. This will help to improve their learning and future professional activities.
Abstract. Purpose: generalization of experience of higher educational establishments' future specialists' professional training, oriented on formation of students' personalities' physical culture. Material: we questioned students (n=50) and institute teachers (n=30). Results: it was found that for increase of future specialists' professional fitness effectiveness it was important to consider orientation of educational process on formation of student personality's physical culture. Besides, it was noticed that professional fitness of future specialists is greatly influenced by implementation of modern technologies of formation of students' physical culture in educational-learning process. Physical education means, oriented on aesthetic are of great health related and recreation significance. Conclusions: educational process shall be oriented on support of active motor functioning, motivation for physical exercises' and healthy life style practicing.
The CrossFit training's influence on the morphofunctional state (morphological and functional indicators) of cadets who are the future officers of the Ukrainian Air Assault Forces is studied in the paper. The research was conducted at the Odesa Military Academy (Ukraine) at the Faculty of Air Assault Forces training in 2018-2020. 90 male cadets took part in the research. We formed two groups: experimental group (EG, N=45), the cadets of which were training in the academy CrossFit classes during sports and mass work, and control group (CG, N=45), the cadets of which were training according to the traditional classes of physical training. The morphological (conditional) indicators of cadets were assessed in terms of such indicators as height, body weight, handgrip test, body mass index, power index. Their functional state was examined in terms of the following indicators: heart rate at rest, blood pressure, vital capacity, life index, Robinson index, and heart rate recovery after physical activity. The positive influence of CrossFit classes on the morphofunctional state of paratrooper cadets was established. In senior years of study, the indicators of the cadets of EG were significantly (р<0.05-0.001) more advanced than those of the cadets of CG by all indicators studied. The most pronounced influence of CrossFit training was found in terms of the indicators of the cardiovascular system, body weight, and power qualities of
