This study aims to investigate the relationship between Internet addiction and social exclusion in female adolescents. The relational screening method was used in the study. The sample group of the study consisted of 244 female adolescents aged 12-18 living in Cinar district of Diyarbakir. To determine the exclusion of adolescents in social relations, the Social Exclusion Scale for adolescents has been used as a data collection tool. Besides, Young Internet addiction Short Form developed by Young (1998) which is the short form created by Pawlikowski, Altstotter-Gleich & Brand (2013) and adapted to Turkish by Kutlu, Savci, Demir and Aysan (2016) has been used to test adolescents' internet addiction. Independent groups t-test, Mann-Whitney U test, Kruskal-Wallis test, Dunn-Bonferroni test, and Spearman correlation analysis were used for data analysis. According to the results of the study, it was found that there was no statistically significant relationship between exclusion score averages and an average of Internet addiction scores (p> 0.05).
The aim of this study was to review graduate study done on eating disorders in Turkey. Descriptive survey model, one of the quantitative research methods, was used in this study. The sample of the study consists of a total of 111 theses, 79 master's theses, 5 doctoral theses and 27 specialty theses in medicine between 2015-2020. Theses were analyzed with the data collection form developed by the researcher as the data collection tool in accordance with the purpose of the research. The data obtained were interpreted based on percentage and frequency. According to the findings of the study, it was observed that the most studies on eating disorders were in master's theses (71.14%) and the most studies were performed in 2019 (38.73%). Most of the theses (90.1%) were accessed in full text. Studies were mostly conducted in the Institute of Health Sciences (45.95%). Considering the departments where the studies were published, it was observed that the most studies (28.9%) were conducted in the ABD on Nutrition and Dietetics. In terms of the study group, it was determined that the most chosen sample group was individuals (25.22%) in different age groups. Considering the distribution of the issues associated with eating disorders, it was observed that it was mostly dealt with psychological factors (25.22%). It is thought that the research was carried out in the Institute of Health Sciences and nutrition and nutrition in the ABD in 2019, the sample group was selected from the students with the most different living standards and most suitable for different living standards.
ÖZAraṣtırmanın amacı, sesli kitap okuma etkinliğinde annenin kültürel sermayesinin çocuğun okul öncesi okuryazarlık geliṣimine etkisini incelemektir. Nitel araṣtırma özelliği taṣıyan bu araṣtırmada, durum çalıṣma deseninin alt modeli olan bütüncül çoklu durum deseni kullanılmıṣtır. Araṣtırmanın çalıṣma grubu, ölçüt örneklem yöntemine uygun olarak seçilmiṣtir. Araṣtırmanın katılımcıları, Almanya"da yaṣayan ve farklı eğitim ve sosyoekonomik düzeye sahip 6 Türk kökenli anne ve onların okul öncesi dönemdeki çocuklarından oluṣmaktadır. Annelerin çocuklara sesli kitap okuma sürecini ev ortamında incelemek için, gözlem türlerinden yapılandırılmamıṣ labaratuvar çalıṣması kullanılmıṣtır. Çalıṣmada, ayrıca annelerle görüṣme yapılmıṣtır. Bu görüṣmede, annelerin sesli kitap okuma ile ilgili görüṣleri alınmıṣtır. Gözlem sonucunda elde edilen veriler, sosyal dizi analizi (social sequence analysis) yardımıyla, annelerle yapılan görüṣmede elde edilen veriler de betimsel analiz kullanılarak çözümlenmiṣtir. Araştırmanın bulgularına göre; okul öncesi okuryazarlık geliṣiminde önemli rol oynayan sesli kitap okuma yöntemi, annelerin kültürel sermayelerine göre farklılık gösterdiği saptanmıṣtır. Kültürel sermayesi yüksek olan annelerin, kültürel sermayesi düṣük annelere göre sesli kitap uygulamasıyla çocuğun okul öncesi okuryazarlık geliṣimine daha iyi katkı sağladıkları sonucuna ulaṣılmıṣtır. ABSTRACTThe study aims to examine influence of mother"s cultural capital on development of child"s preschool literary in book reading activity. In this qualitative research, integrated multistate pattern, a sub-model of case study pattern, was used. Sample group of the study was selected based on the criterion sampling method. Participants of the study consist of 6 Turkish families who live in Germany and have different level of education and socio-economy and their preschool children. In order to observe the process of mothers reading books orally for their children at home, unstructured laboratory study was used from among the types of observation. In the study, interviews were held with the mothers as well. During these interviews, opinions of mothers on book reading were obtained. The data obtained as a result of observation was analysed using the social sequence analysis method, while the data obtained from interviews with mothers was analysed using the descriptive analysis method. According to findings of the study, the method of book reading, which has an important role in preschool literacy development, varies by cultural capitals of the mothers. It is concluded that mothers who have a high cultural capital make better contribution to preschool literacy development of the child through book reading practice compared with mothers who have low cultural capital.
