I. 41.)Die genaue Bestimmung der Loslichkeit eines Salzes ist haufig wegen mange1haft)er Einstellung des S%ttigungsgl(:ichgewichtes und wegen Veranderung des Bodenkorpers durch Alterung nicht moglich. In solchen Fallen kann nur eine von den besondern Srbeit'sbedingungen abhangige und meist nicht sehr genau reproduzierbare Loslichkeit ermittelt, werden.Da die Loslichkeit, eines Salzes mit seiner Gitterenergie in einfachem Zusammenhang stehtl), diirfen wir erwa,rten, dass sich in gewissen Fallen aus der Loslichkeit eines Rodenkoipers interessante Schlusse uber seinen Feinbau ahleiten lassen.Die Loslichkeit eines Bodenkorpers kann bekanntlich durch Kornvergrosserung eine Verminderung erfahren. Sofern sich die damit verbundene Oberflachenverminderung bei konstanter Oberflachenspannung und ohne Anderung der chemischen Konstitution vollzieht, so wird sie nur eine geringfugige Loslichkeitsverminderung bewirken konnen. So ist z. B. beim Ubergang von kolloid-dispersem Silberchloritl in die grob-disperse Form nur ein Riickgang der anfanglichen Loslichkeit auf die Halfte zu erwarten2).Scha'tzen wir die Oberflachenspannung von gefalltem Ferrosulfid auf etwa 200 Dyn pro em und denken uns den anfiinglichen Niederschlag als wurfelformige Teilchen von cm Durchmesser, so kann beim Ubergang des Niedersehlages in analoge Teilchtu vom lO-fac,hen Durchmesser infolge der Oberfliichenschrumpfung die Energie pro Mol um hochstens 300-500 gcal. abnehmen. Zu dit:ser Uberschlagsrechnung passt in der Grossenordnung ein Befund von Kruyt und van der 8pe7c3) uber die Flockung des lyophoben Eisen(II1)-oxydsols. Die Autoren konnten hierbei eine Blockungswarme von 320 gcal. pro Mol beobachten. Man wird daher nicht stark fehlgehen, wenn man annimmt, dass bei der Ausflockung von hochdispersrri Schwermetallsulfiden die Loslichkeit infolge der Oberflachenschruinpfung um etwa das 1,7-bis 2,3-fache vermindert werden kann (4,573 -T log 1,7 = 310 gcal.; 4,573 . An Hand von Job‐Reihen wurde die molare Zusammensetzung des Zirkonium‐Alizarin‐S‐Lackes in Abhängigkeit von der Azidität der Lösung untersucht. Dabei konnte bestätigt werden, dass das Zirkonium in wässeriger Lösung als polymeres Ion vorliegt. Die Polymerisation hängt von der Azidität und dem Alter der Lösung ab und verhält sich beim Behandeln mit starker Säure in der Hitze vollkommen reversibel. Schwefelsäure wirkt in kleiner Konzentration depolymerisierend.

Man filtriert, kuhlt auf 0" und versetzt vorsichtig bis zur kongosauren Reaktion rnit kalter 10-proz. HC1: 2,02 g (95%) DL-(X-(O-Carboxybenzamido)-capronsaure-thioamid ( X X X V I ) , Roh-Smp. 183-184' (korr.). C,,H,,O,N,S Ber. C 57,12 H 6.16 0 16,31 N 9.52% Gef. C 56,60 H 6.26 0 15,6 N 9,43y0 2 g XXXVI werden 10 Min. mit 20 ml 10-proz. HC1 unter Ruckfluss gekocht. Beim Stehen dcr Lasung uber Nacht bei 0" erhalt man 0,87 g Phtalsaure. Man en@ im Vakuum im Wasserbad auf ein, verdunnt rnit Wasser auf 10 ml, neutralisiert mit festem NaHCO, und lasst iiber Nacht bei 0' stehen: 0.38 g (38%) XXXIX, aus 50-prOz. Wthanol unter Zusatz von Tierkohle, Smp. 92-95' korr.
Zum Zwecke der Radiumanalyse wurde die emanometrische Messung für Radiumemanation mit der Zählmethodik für feste radiumhaltige Präparate am Stirnfensterzählrohr verglichen. Beide Verfahren ergeben recht gute Übereinstimmung. Für feste Präparate erwies sich ein Zusatz von inaktivem Bariumsulfat zum Radiumsalz zu konstantem Probengewicht von 8 mg/cm2 unter guter Durch mischung als zweckmässig. Für andere Gewichte der Mischproben wurden die Umrechnungsfaktoren festgelegt.
