This study aims to expose creativity as an essential aspect for teachers at schools, and how it is affected by job satisfaction. It employs a quantitative method with causal approach. It involves 219 private vocational high school teachers, whose number is resolved under the Slovin formula and selected by simple random sampling. Data are collected using a job satisfaction questionnaire (X1) and creativity questionnaire (Y), tested for validity and reliability, and processed with SPSS statistical analysis model. The results suggested that teachers' creativity could increase through job satisfaction. A strong indicator that influences teachers’ job satisfaction the most is teaching supervision at schools, compared to the colleague support, salaries, working conditions, and personality. Therefore, to increase the teachers’ creativity, the principal should improve the teaching supervision for teachers. This research contributes in the way that teaching supervision could improve their job satisfaction, which strongly stimulates the improvement of their creativity. This research departed from the conditions an Islamic elementary school faces in preparing education planning, especially curriculum design and lesson plan required to adapt to changes, especially in the current pandemic conditions. Therefore, this study aimed to know the adaptability of school principal and teachers in curriculum design and lesson plan during the COVID-19 pandemic. This research used a qualitative approach, while the case study method is used. The data collection process is carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation studies. Then for data validity using triangulation. The data analysis includes data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The subjects of this study were the school principal and the teachers at Al-Istiqlal Islamic elementary school Karawang. The results showed that the COVID-19 pandemic became a momentum for teachers and principals to adapt curriculum design and lesson plan in the 21st century. Various efforts are made in preparing curriculum design, namely making the curriculum essential, compiling learning tools, and preparing digital platforms for teaching and learning activities. The adaptability of school principal in designing curriculum is by creating a primary curriculum. Teachers’ adaptability in making a lesson plan formulated and designed previously by the curriculum team, school principal, and the head of the foundation. It needs to be done because learning activities during the pandemic have changed the learning process and methods; it requires planning for a new curriculum design and lesson plan.
Kecamatan Klari adalah salah satu kecamatan di Kabupaten Karawang, yang memiliki desa dengan julukan desa Swasembada, tetapi hal ini bertentangan dengan ketidakberdayaan sekolah dalam memberdayakan sumber daya alam sesuai dengan kegiatan pembangunan daerah, dalam konteks sekolah sering disebut dengan sebagai konsep manajemen berbasis sekolah (MBS) untuk pergi ke sekolah berkualitas, terutama di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) Sekolah di bawah Departemen Agama, kebanyakan dari mereka tidak memahami konsep MBS. Sedangkan konsep MBS mensyaratkan sekolah untuk menerapkan prinsip-prinsip partisipatif, kemitraan, akuntabilitas, transparansi, keadilan dalam perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pelaksanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi program sekolah. Peningkatan kemitraan diperlukan untuk mencapai tujuan pendidikan yang optimal menuju Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) di Kabupaten Klari. Terkait hal ini, Pascasarjana UNJ menyumbangkan pengetahuan dan pemahaman untuk meningkatkan kualitas MI melalui metode pelatihan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi Kepala MI Kabupaten Karawang, Jawa Barat. Berdasarkan evaluasi kegiatan pelatihan ini ditemukan bahwa 1) pelatihan lanjutan yang berkaitan dengan materi standar pendidikan nasional adalah penting untuk dilakukan. 2 Pemahaman peserta yang terbatas dalam meningkatkan sumber dana pendidikan masih terbatas, dan pelatihan perlu dilakukan terkait dengan peningkatan kompetensi warga sekolah di bidang kewirausahaan sekolah, 3) Sekolah masih belum merencanakan program sekolah berdasarkan derivasi visi, misi, dan nilai sekolah. The lack of teacher participation in the preparation of the RKAM has an impact on the disbursement of BOS funds of Private Madrasah Ibitdaiyyah in Karawang Regency. The initial assumption is the teacher's lack of knowledge regarding the RKAM , the level of participation in determining the RKAM and the factors that influence it . The study used a survey method of data collection techniques in the form of a questionnaire in the form of an attitude scales/scaled distributed among/over 301 respondents , strengthened by documentation studies and FGDs with key informants and informants. The results showed (1) teachers ' understanding of RKAM both in the aspect of activity planning, budgeting and operation of the e-RKAM system was very low; (2)Teacher participation in determining the RKAM both in determining the vision, mission, values, goals, targets is low; (3) The lack of socialization of the RKAM, the limited opportunities given to teachers to participate, in addition, the internal factors of teachers related to age, tenure and employee status and limitations in operating the e-budget have an impact on the low participation of teachers in determining the RKAM. For this reason, it is recommended that madrasas should socialize and provide opportunities for teachers to participate in RKAM, and the government will create a teacher participation system in RKAM. Abstrak Minimnya partisipasi guru dalam penyusunan RKAM berdampak pada pencairan dana BOS di Madrasah Ibitdaiyyah Swasta di Kabupaten Karawang. Asumsi awal adalah kurangnya pengetahuan guru terkait RKAM, tingkat partisipasi dalam penetapan RKAM dan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhinya. Penelitian menggunakan metode survei dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa angket dalam bentuk skala sikap yang disebar terhadap 301 responden, diperkuat dengan studi dokumentasi dan FGD dengan informan dan narasumber kunci. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan (1) Pemahaman guru terhadap RKAM baik pada aspek rencana kegiatan, penganggaran dan pengoperasian sistem e-RKAM sangat rendah; (2) Partisipasi guru dalam penetapan RKAM baik dalam penetapan visi, misi, nilai, tujuan, sasaran rendah. (3) Kurangnya sosialisasi RKAM, terbatasnya kesempatan yang diberikan pada guru untuk berpartisipasi, selain, faktor internal guru terkait usia, masa kerja dan status pegawai dan keterbatasan dalam pengoperasian e-anggaran berdampak terhadap rendahnya partisipasi guru dalam penetapan RKAM. Untuk itu direkomendasikan madrasah hendaknya mensosialisasikan dan memberi kesempatan guru untuk berpartisipasi dalam RKAM, dan pemerintah membuat sistem partisipasi guru dalam RKAM.
This study aims to describe comprehensively the evaluation of the policy for admission of new students through an independent examination at the University of North Sumtera (UMBPT-USU). This evaluation study uses Stake's Countenence Model. Data collection techniques using analysis of literature studies, secondary data documents, observation, and indepth interviews that support validity analysis. The results of this study illustrate: (1) the antecedents phase process (formulation of policy making), (2) the transaction phase (planning, implementing, organizing, and supervising policies (3) outcome phase of the results of the implementation of the independent exam in receiving new students at the University of North Sumatra.In accordance with Stake's model, this paper describes two principal ways of proccesing descreptive evaluation data, the contingencies among antecedents, transactions and outcomes and finding the congruence between intens and observations of each phase and judgment made by the evaluator based on certain standard criteria.This evaluation is expected to provide results that can be one of the references in the new student admission policy at state university (PTN).
This study aims to analyze the empowerment of students through the Internet Of Think-based E-Farming, which was conducted at the Ittifaq eco-Islamic boarding school in Bandung. The methodology in this study uses qualitative methods. Through a qualitative approach, several things were found; first, ittifaq Islamic boarding school Bandung, is a role model for empowering e-Farming students based on the Internet Of Think (IoT); second, empowerment of students is carried out through the steps of the empowerment process, starting with collecting state data, analyzing state data, identifying problems, selecting problems to solve. Solved, and formulation the objectives of the Ittifaq eco-Islamic boarding school problem. The empowerment of E-Farming students based on the Internet Of Think is carried out through three stages of empowerment: training programs, collaboration, and groups. Third, the Internet Of Think-based santri E-farming empowerment model carried out by the Ittifaq Islamic boarding school including using the precision farming model, the use of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV), and Smart GreenHouse.
