Literasi keagamaan merupakan unsur sangat penting dalam kehidupan sosial-keagamaan masyarakat khususnya, dan kehidupan bermasyarakat, berbangsa dan bernegara umumnya. Studi-studi sosologi agama dan pembangunan tentang hubungan literasi keagamaan dengan efektivitas pembangunan di berbagai negara multireligi dan multikultural memperlihatkan bahwa literasi keagamaan merupakan faktor pendorong (driving force) bahkan penentu keberhasilan pembangunan yang bermakna. Orasi bertujuan menggambarkan dan menjelaskan urgensinya literasi keagamaan bagi generasi milenial Indonesia. Dalam studinya, penulis menggaris-bawahi bahwa literasi keagamaan generasi milenial yang merupakan bagian terbesar (70% lebih dari total penduduk Indonesia) pada tahun 2020 memperlihatkan kondisi yang memprihatinkan dan menuntut pembinaan intensif dan integratif. Keterpaparan generasi milenial oleh faham keagamaan ekstrim, keterlibatan aktif dalam gerakan-gerakan keras dan tindakan terorisme, hingga menjadi pelaku yang mengarah pada bentuk prilaku intoleran terhadap pemeluk agama berbeda merupakan fakta nyata yang terjadi hingga dua dekade terakhir ini. Implikasi politisnya, diperlukan perhatian khusus dan serius oleh semua pihak. Pemerintah dan masyarakat secara integratif dan intensif perlu mengembangkan tingkat literasi keagamaan dengan cara mengembangkan kesadaran dan pemahaman tentang fungsi praktis ajaran agama bagi kepentingan sosial-politik yang lebih luas dalam penciptaan stabilitas nasional sebagai prasyarat efektivitas pembangunan. Dalam orasi ini, direkomendasikan bahwa penguatan literasi keagamaan hendaknya dilakukan secara integratif melalui berbagai pendekatan—politik, ekonomi, budaya, dan agama itu sendiri. Pendidikan agama—baik formal, nonfomal, maupun informal di keluarga hendaknya tidak semata diorientasikan pada penguasaan materi scara intelektual, namun hal lebih penting adalah dioreintasikan pada penguatan dan pengayaan praktek ajaran dalam konteks kepentingan sosial yang lebih manausiawi dan universal. Metodik pembelajaran indoktrinatif tidak lagi mejadi pilihan paling tepat.
AbstrakSalah satu agenda utama bangsa kita adalah memperkuat kembali nasionalisme (rasa kebangsaan). Selama dekade terakhir ini, nasionalisme Indonesia cenderung mengalami penurunan, lantaran berbagai faktor yang berkelindan. Fakta enunjukkan bahwa kemunculan konflik sosial dan penyimpangan sosial dengan berbagai motif dan modus-operandi-nya, ditambah faktor pengaruh globalisasi dengan segenap implikasinya, ternyata menjadi bukti nyata tengah terjadi penurunan rasa kebangsaan dalam masyarakat. Sebagai sebuah negara bangsa yang terbingkai dalam Negara Kesatuan Republik Indonesia, tentu saja, kondisi seperti ini harus diatasi melalui berbagai pendekatan yang padu. Salah satu pendekatan dalam rangka penguatan kembali rasa kebangsaan adalah melalui pemungsian optimal pendidikan agama.Tulisan ini mencoba menggambarkan bagaimana pendidikan agama harus diposisikan, difungsikan dan dibermaknakan dalam rangka penguatan kembali rasa kebangsaan kita, bangsa Indonesia.

This study aims to expose creativity as an essential aspect for teachers at schools, and how it is affected by job satisfaction. It employs a quantitative method with causal approach. It involves 219 private vocational high school teachers, whose number is resolved under the Slovin formula and selected by simple random sampling. Data are collected using a job satisfaction questionnaire (X1) and creativity questionnaire (Y), tested for validity and reliability, and processed with SPSS statistical analysis model. The results suggested that teachers' creativity could increase through job satisfaction. A strong indicator that influences teachers’ job satisfaction the most is teaching supervision at schools, compared to the colleague support, salaries, working conditions, and personality. Therefore, to increase the teachers’ creativity, the principal should improve the teaching supervision for teachers. This research contributes in the way that teaching supervision could improve their job satisfaction, which strongly stimulates the improvement of their creativity. This study aims to describe and analyze: (1) preference for reading religious books; (2) religious literacy, factors that influence the preference for reading religious books, and (3) formulate recommendations for the development of religious books in State Public Universities. This research used the survey method and literature review. The population is students of State Public Universities in Java, who are Muslims, including: DKI Jakarta, Banten, West Java, Central Java, Yogyakarta Special Region, and East Java. Each province has two State Public Universities, except for Banten, with a sample of 560 respondents, with a distribution of 53-60 respondents. Data collection techniques using literature review. The results of the study: First, the preference for reading religious books is at a „medium“ level, due to a number of factors including: (1) time-consuming college assignments, (2) low motivation due to perceptions of religious issues as „personal rights“, (3) an Islamic Religious Education environment that is less „motivating“, „reinforcing“, (4) the availability of religious books is not suitable for students' needs, and (5) the academic climate is less conducive which limits freedom, the breadth of reading religious books. Second, religious literacy, the micro dimension, is in a moderate position, namely the preference for reading religious books „sufficiently“has a significant effect on the development of students' abilities. Research contributions: (1) provide a factual map of preference for religious/religious books in the millennial generation at public universities in the 2018-2022 range. (2) drafting policy, providing religious books for public higher education.
The purpose of this study was to analyze how school autonomy was implemented in Jakarta's Special Capital Region, which administratively serves as a barometer for the successful implementation of policies in Indonesia and emerging economies. The research examined how school autonomy has been applied at the school level in terms of program and budget management, curriculum creation, teacher development, and community development. The topics were administrators, teachers, school leaders, and school committee members from 313 Jakarta public primary schools. Data were gathered utilizing a combination of qualitative and quantitative methods, including surveys, interviews, focus groups, and documentary studies. The research indicated that the implementation of school autonomy in Jakarta varies in terms of success, and is contingent on the school's competence and innovation in utilizing its authority and responsibility to grow the institution. Additionally, it is discovered that the weaknesses that must be addressed in order for autonomy to be effective are related to the low quality of leadership demonstrated by school principals, teachers, and school committee participation in management, all of which contribute to the ineffective implementation of school autonomy.
