Nowadays, there are still many universities that have not maximized the use of information technology in the learning process. The learning process still uses conventional methods, especially in terms of student assignments. The purpose of this study was to develop cooperative learning models in information systems project management courses. The method used in this study was the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). This is one model that becomes a guideline in developing effective, dynamic learning and supporting learning itself. The results of this study are practical and effective web-based cooperative learning models for students in universities.
The problem that exists is how to design a tool to help students recognize their potential and abilities so that they can recognize the right potential in higher education based on their potential and abilities, with the influence of technological changes that have penetrated into life and even the world of education, then the purpose of this research is to develop software in the form of an expert system as a technology that can be used by students to be able to recognize their potential. The development of this expert system uses the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) method, the design of an expert system to determine the potential in higher education based on Multiple Intelligence. This expert system is designed using the Unified Modeling Language (UML).
The purpose of this research is to increase students' understanding of CAD program courses through the application of the case method learning model. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR). This research was conducted to find solutions that can be done so that the potential of each teaching participant can be explored optimally. The subjects of this study were the fourth semester students of the Building Engineering Education Study Program, University of Nias, who at the time of this research were contracting 22 CAD courses. The method of measuring the level of success is carried out in three cycles. The method of data collection was carried out by observation, performance tests, quantitative and qualitative data collection, and data analysis techniques of learning implementation. Based on the results of data analysis and discussion, it was found that the most dominant activity of lecturers in providing lecture material using autocad media could increase student understanding by 0.47 points from cycle 1 to cycle 2 while the increase from cycle 2 to cycle 3 was 0.04 points. Activities in providing explanations to student questions using autocad media can increase student understanding by 0.25 points from cycle 1 to cycle 2 and increase student understanding by 0.27 points. The mastery of students' cognitive learning outcomes increased from cycles 1 to 3, with the percentage of mastery in cycle 1 being 31.82% and cycle 2 being 54.54%, and in cycle 3 being 90.9%. So it is concluded that the application of the case method learning model assisted by autocad media can improve students' understanding of the CAD program material.
In the current Covid-19 transition period, it is very necessary to use innovative vocational learning models in digital models. The number of vocational learning models using ICT as the main tool during the pandemic needs to be studied further on how the model is implemented and its effectiveness. The problem that arises is that we do not know whether the use of ICT tools in vocational learning is effectively used. This study aims to empirically verify the effectiveness of ICT in vocational education learning during the Covid-19 transition period. Meta-Analysis is used as a method to conduct this research. There are 30 latest articles reviewed during the year of 2020 to 2021. All articles are classified based on the author, year of publication, the ICT device or application used, and the results of the post-test experimental and control classes. The results are obtained after the calculation using the effect size (ES) formula. The calculation results show that the learning using ICT as a tool during the Covid-19 pandemic has a high effect (1.28) on cognitive achievement in vocational education. The conclusion of this study is that ICT-assisted learning has a high level of effectiveness and is suitable for learning in the vocational field. Then, the dominant multimedia device or application used in the vocational learning in Indonesia is the computer technology network and it is the most widely used for the application of ICT in learning.
This research aimed to analyze the implementation of Insert Religious Model in Constructing the Character Care for the Environment for the Study of Geography. The research is a quasi -experiment conducted in Padang City, West Sumatra -Indonesia. The Data were collected from students through the questionnaire. Data were analyzed using T -Test. This research found that Insert Religious Model can improve the students' character of care for the environment. Implementation of this character conducted systematically in form of planning and learning through insert religious model. With this finding, teachers who seeking to develop the character of the caring environment in learning geography can use this model.
Adiwiyata program has been launched in schools. The character building in schools, especially the caring and cultured environment is deemed necessary to be studied, because considering the broad and long-term impact on environmental conditions between generations. To this day, related to the environmental attitudes and culture. The point is to form caring and cultured characters for school citizens through the education system implemented in the education level unit. Therefore, it needs to be measured to what extent the implementation is running and how the improvement strategy is going forward. The number of schools that become the Adiwiyata School, in Padang Town are reaching 243, out of 646 totality of schools. To increase the number of adiwiyata schools in the Padang Town to the future, an improvement strategy is needed based on current conditions. The current condition in question is all the strengths, weaknesses and opportunities and threats that exist. This research is classified as qualitative research. The aim is to increase participation of school into Adiwiyata Program in Padang Town. The method used tin this research is SWOT analysis (strengths weaks threats opportunities). The results of the research, the strategy direction is obtained in the form of growth with the main strategy in the form of SO Strategy (Strenghts - Opportunities), namely “utilizing the power to seize the opportunities that exist”, or “increasing the opportunities for existing strengths”. The derivatives of this main strategy are 10 (ten) priority strategies.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
