AbstrakSalah satu wujud pengembangan keprofesianalan guru adalah menulis artikel ilmiah dan publikasi artikel ilmiah. Oleh karena itu, hendaknya guru terus belajar menulis artikel ilmiah untuk diseminarkan maupun dipublikasikan di jurnal. Kenyataan di lapangan menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar guru belum mampu menghasilkan dan melakukan publikasi ilmiah. Tujuan kegiatan pengaabdian ini adalah meningkatkan motivasi dan kemampuan guru dalam menulis artikel ilmiah dari hasil penelitian yang dapat digunakan sebagai salah satu persyaratan pengajuan kenaikan pangkat sehingga berdampak juga terhadap profesionalitas guru. Kegiatan pengabdian yang dilaksanakan menggunakan metode ceramah, tanya jawab dan simulasi. Kegiatan pelatihan penulissan artikel ilimah yang telah dilaksanakan dapat meningkatkan motivasi guru untuk menulis artikel ilmiah; guru memiliki pengetahuan dan kemampuan memilih tempat publikasi yang sesuai; guru memiliki pengetahuan tentang cara mencari sumber refrensi mutakhir melalui google scholar; guru memiliki pengetahuan tentang trik untuk publikasi artikel ilmiah hasil penelitian; guru dapat mengetahui bagaimana membuat draft artikel ilmiah hasil penelitian sesuai dengan tamplate jurnal yang dituju; seluruh peserta pelatihan memiliki pandangan positif terhadap pelatihan penulisan artikel ilmiah dan memandang tingkat kebermanfaatan pelatihan pada tingkat bermanfaat dan sangat bermanfaat.AbstractOne form of teacher professional development is writing scientific articles and publishing scientific articles. Therefore, teachers should continue to learn to write scientific articles to be disseminated or published in journals. The reality on the ground shows that most teachers have not been able to produce and do scientific publications. The purpose of this service activity is toincrease the motivation and ability of teachers to write scientific articles from the results of research that can be used as one of the requirements for submission of promotions so that it also impacts on teacher professionalism. For a teacher, TPACK's ability is very important in improving the implementation of teaching and learning processes in the IR 4.0 era. This is stated in the TPACK framework which contains seven interrelated domains. This study investigates some mathematics teachers' competence of Technology Pedagogic and Content Knowledge (TPACK) based on TPACK framework. The 30 teachers were from junior high schools in Cirebon West Java and being given questionnaires and semi-structured interviewed related to the seven domains of the TPACK framework. The result is the availability of facilities and infrastructure are limited which causes they do not have the drive to be able to create with technology. This type of research is a development or R&D which aims to produce a product in the form of quadrilateral learning media based on Adobe Flash CS6 with a valid Contextual Teaching and Learning approach ti facilitate the mathematical connection ability. This study is the research, development model of plomp with consist of three phase is preliminary research, prototyping phase and assessment phase. The instrument used to data collection in this study were questionnaire of epert validation learning media. The device develoved was validated by three validators including two lecture and one teacher junior high school. From the resulting validation data the average score from three validator is 3,4 which means that the learning media is in the valid category with the value obtained is B which means that the learning media can be used with a little revision
Rendahnya kemampuan literasi matematika siswa Indonesia dapat disebabkan oleh beberapa faktor, antara lain kurangnya pemahaman siswa akan materi yang digunakan dalam permasalahan literasi matematika dan kurangnya pengalaman siswa dalam menyelesaikan permasalahan matematika. Literasi matematika berbasis ICT dapat dikembangkan seiring dengan kemajuan teknologi saat ini dengan menyesuaikan kondisi sekolah atau siswa setempat. Kendala yang dialami saat ini di Indonesia adalah minimnya tenaga guru matematika yang kompenten dalam bidang ICT. Pemanfaatan ICT dalam literasi matematika sangatlah penting, sesuai tujuan literasi matematika disini supaya dapat membantu siswa dalam menganalisa, memberikan alasan, dan menyampaikan ide secara efektif, merumuskan, memecahkan, dan menginterpretasi masalah-masalah dalam kehidupan seharihari. Oleh karena itu, tim pengabdian melaksanakan pelatihan pemanfaatan kalkulator online untuk meningkatkan literasi matematika bagi guru-guru di Kabupaten Cirebon. Materi pengabdian meliputi Pengenal literasi matematika; Pengenalan lietrasi ICT; Pentingnya literasi matematika; Praktik memanfaatkan kalkulator online dalam literasi matematika. Pelatihan menggunakan teknik ceramah, tanya jawab, dan simulasi agar guru mendapatkan pengalaman langsung dan mendapat pengayaan dari tim pengabdian. Kegiatan pengabdian berdampak pada peningkatan motivasi dan kemampuan guru memanfaatkan kalkulator online dalam literasi matematika. The main idea in this article is looking at the creative thinking patterns in mathematics learning viewed from gender on vocational high school students. Creative thinking skills are cognitive processes, and cognitive processes are inseparable from how the brain processes work. To see the ability to think creatively, we have to see how the process of creative thinking happens. This is a neuroscience study in mathematics with a quasi-experimental design. We tried to describe the relationship among neuroscience, mathematics creative thinking skills, and gender. We involved 30 male students (automotive major) and 30 female students (accounting major) from the 12th-grade of Islamic Center Vocational High School of Cirebon, West Java, Indonesia. Statistics test used was independent sample t-test to see about mean differences of males and female group. There are three indicators about mathematical creative thinking used are fluency, flexibility and novelty. Finally, we found that male students and female students have their own structure of the brain. Female student has a higher ability of mathematical creative thinking skills than male students in Islamic Centre Cirebon, West Java, Indonesia.
The study aims to develop learning devices through an open-ended approach in square material. The learning devices developed consist of student modules and lesson plan (RPP). This study is the research, development model of Plomp with consist of three stages: preliminary research phase, prototype phase and assessment phase. Techniques of data collection that used were pretest and posttest questions, questionnaire� of expert validation and questionnaire of student response. The device developed was validated by three validators then conducted a limited trial. From the resulting validation data the average score of student module is 4.33 (valid), the average RPP score is 4.29 (valid). The validator statement against both learning devices developed is usable with little revision and without revision and the student's response to the learning device� was positive (practical). The increase of students ' creative thinking capability of N-Gain of 0.67 with moderate upgrade category. The results of the study were obtained that the device was developed is valid, practical, and can improve creative thinking ablity.
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh hambatan belajar yang dialami siswa terkait materi segiempat. Berdasarkan hal tersebut maka tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu: (a)menganalisis desain didaktis yang telah disusun guru model pada materi segiempat dengan menggunakan model problem-based learning; (b)menganalisis dugaan hambatan belajar yang diduga muncul kembali pada desain didaktis yang disusun oleh guru model; dan (c)membuat usulan untuk desain didaktis awal yang bertujuan untuk mengatasi dugaan hambatan belajar yang muncul kembali. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah guru model (Kiki Okatviani) dan desain didaktis materi segiempat dengan model pembelajaran berbasis masalah (PBL). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dan model penelitian Didactical Design Research (DDR) yang terdiri dari tiga tahapan yaitu: (a) prospective analysis; (b)metapedadidactic analysis; dan (c)retrospective analysis. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik triangulasi (wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi). Untuk teknik analisis data menggunakan gabungan dari metode kualitatif dan model DDR dimana kegiatannya adalah: (a)Prospective Analysis atau analisis data dengan melakukan wawancara kepada guru model terkait desian didaktis yang disusun pada materi segiempat; (b)Metapedadidactic Analysis kegiatan menganalisis desain didaktis, menganalisis dugaan munculnya hambatan belajar dari desain didaktis, dan pemberian usulan untuk mengatasi hambatan belajar yang muncul; dan (c)Retrospective Analysis, pada tahap ini peneliti membuat kesimpulan mengenai desain didaktis yang telah dianalisis. Hasil penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa desain didaktis yang disusun oleh guru model sudah sesuai dan dapat digunakan pada kegiatan pembelajaran, adapun kesalahan yang ditemukan dalam desain didaktis yaitu didactical learning obstacle dapat diperbaiki sesuai usulan yang diberikan oleh peneliti, agar siswa tidak mengalami hambatan dalam proses pembelajaran.
