Computer-based media such as interactive multimedia plays an important role in learning Indonesian language skills. The objective of this research is to determine the effectiveness of interactive multimedia in learning Indonesian language skills in higher education. This experimental research used the port-test along with a control group design. The population of this research was the second semester students of the Elementary School Education Study Program at four higher education institutions. To determine the experimental class, the random sampling technique was used considerably. IKIP PGRI Wates is an experimental class through which interactive multimedia is compared to three control groups namely Slamet Riyadi University of Surakarta using video subscription media, Tunas Pembangunan Surakarta University applying media prize, and Ahmad Dahlan University of Yogyakarta using the powerpoint media. The data on Indonesian language skills tests include tests of listening, speaking, reading and writing abilities. The data were then analyzed using the one-way ANOVA. The results show that the application of interactive multimedia is effectively used in learning language language skills compared to learning using other media. In addition, interactive multimedia can also be applied to study independently outside the classroom.
Character's Value Of Rerponsibilities from Subagio Sastrowardoyo Poems. The purpose of this study is to describe the value of responsibility character building of poems by Subagio Sastrowardoyo. This research includes descriptive qualitative research type with content analysis. Sources of data in this study book collection of Simfoni Dua by Subagio Sastrowardoyo. Techniques of collecting data using library techniques, refer method, and record. Data analysis technique uses interaction technique with stilistika approach. Based on the results of research that has been done, it is found that the value of responsibility character building are implicit in the words, phrases, and sentences , ncluding spiritual responsibility to God, social responsibility to fellow human beings, and pers onal responsibility to yourself. The value of responsibility character building that is contained in the poems of Subagio Sastrowardoyo is relevant to literary learning which includes the competence of knowledge and skills of appreciating and writing poetry.
History, Cultural Elements, and the Value of Character Educati on in the Legenda Sungai Naga. The purpose of this study is to describe the history, elements of culture, and the value of character education on the Legenda Sungai Naga. Data co llect ion through interviews, documentation, and observation. Data analysis technique used qualitative analysis of inductive model with purposive samp ling technique. The results obtained that the name of the Dragon River taken based on the history of Gerdu figures that dispels the Dragon Snake that pass in the river. It found three elements of culture that is naming places, namely knowledge system, living equip ment system and technology, and religious system. There are three values of character education that is the value of hard work character, religious character value, and value of environ mental caring character. Abstrak: Sejarah, Unsur Kebudayaan, dan Nilai Pendi dikan Karakter dal am LegendaSungai Naga. Tu juan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan sejarah, unsur kebudayaan, dan nilai pendidikan karakter pada legenda Sungai Naga. Pengumpulan data melalu i wawancara, dokumentasi, dan observasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis kualitatif model indukt if. Hasil penelit ian menunjukkan bahwa nama Sungai Naga diamb il berdasarkan sejarah tokoh Gerdu yang menghalau terjangan Ular Naga yang melintas di sungai tersebut. Ditemukan tiga unsur kebudayaan, yaitu sistem pengetahuan, sistem peralatan hidup dan teknologi, dan sistem religi. Terdapat tiga nilai pendidikan karakter, yaitu nilai karakter kerja keras, nilai karakter religius, dan nilai karakter peduli lingkungan.
The study of literary sociology is still considered boring for most students. The study of literary sociology is only emphasized on the aspect of theory memorizing. Therefore, implementing learning model with CSQ approach is considered very important to make students active, creative, happy, and have spiritual character. The aims of this study were to know the students' perception towards the implementation of literary sociology learning model with CSQ approach in literary sociology course and to know the effectiveness of literary sociology learning model with CSQ approach to teaching literary sociology compared to the conventional learning model. This research used a mixed-method approach. To answer the first aim of the study, a case study design was used and to answer the second aim of the study the experimental design was used. There were some instruments used in this study such as observation, interview, questionnaire, and test. The qualitative data yielded from observation, interview, and the questionnaire was analysed descriptively; meanwhile, the quantitative data yielded from the test was analysed by using t-test formula. The results show that the students have the positive attitude towards the implementation of literary sociology learning model with CSQ approach.
Poetry as a literature work which is a manifestation of human culture that is full of life value, so it is very relevant for character building. The aim of this research is to describe character value and how to implemented on literature study at school of poetry “Bulan Ruwah” from Subagio Sastrowardoyo. This qualitative research applies the description method and using content analyisis. The data of this research is Subagio Sastrowardoyo’s poetry “Bulan Ruwah”. The data analysis techique was referenced technique and recorded technique, using stylistic approach. It is found that there are three values of characters in the poetry “Bulan Ruwah”.
