Se presentan los principales resultados de una investigación de carácter exploratorio realizada en torno al incendio de la Reserva Nacional China Muerta (Región de La Araucanía), ocurrido en el año 2015. Empleándose un diseño metodológico cualitativo y un enfoque etnográfico, fue posible identificar distintos actores sociales relacionados con la reserva, y a través de sus discursos aproximarse a las memorias, significados y prácticas que les vinculan a esta área silvestre protegida y sus visiones en torno al incendio como desastre. Se identificaron dos principales dimensiones en dicha vinculación: la noción del uso material de sus recursos naturales y la relación simbólica-espiritual con el territorio que constituye. Los resultados dan cuenta de cómo el incendio fue un escenario que visibilizó la diversidad sociocultural de un territorio, involucrando distintas subjetividades en la comprensión de este desastre socionatural y del propio territorio; a través de los mecanismos de participación, acción y contención del incendio, como también a través del cuestionamiento acerca del futuro del territorio y del nombre de la Reserva “China Muerta”, el cual, a nuestro juicio, devela una herida colonial que continúa hasta nuestros días. Finalmente más que conclusiones y a modo de apertura para futuras investigaciones, se propone indagar acerca de qué modo las expresiones culturales presentes en territorios donde conviven poblaciones humanas y hábitats protegidos, contribuyen a poner en valor la relación naturaleza–cultura, ampliando la dimensión de patrimonio natural a la noción de patrimonio biocultural.
Este ensayo examina la idea de "desarrollo" y su relación con políticas públicas que se han implementado en la segunda parte del siglo XX, a objeto de ofrecer miradas alternativas que superen las contradicciones que han operado en esta relación. Para ello, en la primera parte se revisa críticamente la noción de desarrollo como indicador de bienestar social, noción que ha orientado las políticas públicas implementadas en el período. En la segunda parte, el ensayo propone reconsiderar la esfera de "lo público", como mecanismo de superación de las contradicciones de las políticas del desarrollo. Finalmente, en la tercera parte se presenta la noción de territorio, como el espacio para la reconsideración de la idea del desarrollo y de la esfera pública. Ello, junto a nuevos enfoques del desarrollo que incluyan la interculturalidad, la conciencia ecológica y la subordinación del capital en la vida individual y social, podrían orientar perspectivas teóricas y empíricas que sustenten políticas públicas coherentes con las exigencias contemporáneas. Resumen: La poesía de María Teresa Panchillo es coherente con el discurso políticohistórico del pueblo mapuche, desarrolla a su vez una escritura que persigue fidelidad a las estructuras y protocolos de la tradición oral mapuche. Los contenidos de su poesía, remiten principalmente a los procesos de recuperación de tierras, y a las estrategias que permiten que estos procesos tengan un impacto efectivo en el Küme mongen o buen vivir de las comunidades mapuche. En su poética, la palabra compromete la valoración pragmática del mapudungun como lengua escrita que tiene que ser leída en clave decolonial. Este ensayo explora la poesía de Panchillo en tanto exposición del discurso autonomista mapuche histórico, a la vez como mecanismo de comunicación intra e intercultural de los aspectos estructurales y valóricos de lengua mapuche, que sostienen de acuerdo a la poética de Panchillo, la vida en territorio mapuche. Abstract: Mapuche poetry by María Teresa Panchillo is coherent with the politicalhistorical discourse Mapuche people, in turn develops a writing that pursues a fidelity to the structures and protocols of the Mapuche oral tradition. The contents of his poetry refer mainly to reclamation processes the land and to the strategies that allow these processes to have an effective impact on the Küme mongen or Buen Vivir of the Mapuche communities. In his poetics, the word implicate the mapudungun's pragmatic appreciation as a written language that must be read as a decolonial code. This essay explores the poetry of Panchillo as an exposition of the historic Mapuche autonomist discourse, at the same time as a mechanism of intra and intercultural communication of the structural and value aspects of the Mapuche language, which, according to Panchillo's poetics, sustain life in the territory Mapuche.
