<p><em>Perkembangan dan penggunaan inovasi teknologi tersebut juga telah mengubah perilaku masyarakat dari masyarakat industri menuju masyarakat informasi. Perubahan tersebut dapat terlihat dengan adanya peningkatan pola konsumsi masyarakat dari perdagangan melalui toko fisik (offline) beralih ke perdagangan melalui sistem elektronik atau sering disebut sebagai e-commerce. Jasa logistik merupakan pemeran distribusi di lini downstream dimana bertugas untuk mengantarkan produk dari fulfillment center dari suatu e-commerce menuju ke end customer. Jasa logistik dituntut harus dapat melakuan pemenuhan permintaan dari konsumen sesuai dengan service level agreement (SLA). Tidak menentunya jumlah permintaan menjadi tantangan yang paling besar bagi pemeran jasa logistik. Seperti studi kasus yang digunakan pada penelitian ini, PT ABC mengalami overload ketika melakukan pemenuhan permintaan dari e-commerce PT XYZ. Overload tersebut dikarenakan ketidaksiapan PT ABC dalam menangani lonjakan permintaan yang signifikan karena perubahan harga jual Produk A di e-commerce PT XYZ. Pada penelitian ini diusulkan model peramalan harga jual Produk A pada e-commerce PT XYZ menggunakan model Simulasi Monte Carlo Independent Variable. Simulasi dilakukan dengan 1.000 percobaan dan menghasilkan MAPE terendah pada percobaan 322, yaitu, 0,122%.</em></p>
Capsicum frutescens is one of the vegetable commodities that can affect the dynamics of the national economy. The dynamics of the national economy is due to significant fluctuations in chili prices in Indonesia at all times. Price fluctuations occur due to lack of information either in the form of demand information or Chilean price information about consumers received by farmers for marketing red pepper. Besides, the length of the distribution of red pepper (farmer- the middleman- wholesaler- retailer- consumer) results in significant price changes from farmers to consumers at each echelon or distribution level. Such price changes result in a decline in the farmer’s share. Farmer’s share has a negative relationship with marketing margins. the negative relationship is the higher the marketing margin, the lower the share received by the farmer. from the explanation, the concept shows that the victims of the length of the distribution channel are farmers and consumers. Where farmers will bear a high business risk, and consumers will get high chili prices. The research will discuss how to stabilize the price of red pepper and improve farmer’s share by making the best decision using discrete simulation using Monte Carlo, so it can determine the supply policy by the distribution at each level aimed at reducing the operational cost. Besides, this can also reduce the hoarding activities undertaken by the relevant distribution. The hoarding can disrupt the stability of the existing chili price.
Abstract— The development and use of technological innovations have changed people's behavior from an industrial society to an information society. It can be seen in the increase in people's consumption patterns from trading through physical stores (offline) to trading through electronic systems, often referred to as e-commerce. Logistics services are distribution actors in the downstream line which are tasked with delivering products from the fulfillment center from e-commerce to the end customer. The uncertainty of the number of requests is the biggest challenge for logistics service players. The growth of e-commerce has also led to an increase in sales volume in e-commerce which has given rise to a new generation of warehouses that are specifically tailored to the special needs of online retailers who directly serve the demands of end-customers in the business-to-consumer (B2C) segment. Traditional warehousing systems cannot handle orders with the characteristics of many transactions but smaller sizes. In addition, warehouses that handle e-commerce are also required to have a fast process in the warehouse because shipments must be made on the same day. In this study, the author aims to perform calculations to find the optimal order picking time in the warehouse, so orders in e-commerce can be processed faster by comparing the picking process time using ordinary Single Picker Routing Problem (SPRP) and combined with the concept of wave picking using Genetic Algorithm (GA). Based on a theoretical study in this paper, the combination between SPRP and wave picking can reduce 42.28% picking time.
Aktivitas pemeriksaan persediaan atau Stock-taking merupakan aktivitas pemeriksaan barang manual oleh petugas gudang yang dilakukan secara rutin pada aktivitas pergudangan. Aktivitas ini berfungsi untuk menentukan akurasi persediaan dan mengetahui kondisi persediaan sehingga dapat mengurangi resiko kehilangan, kerusakan, dan keausan persediaan. Aktivitas pemeriksaan persediaan termasuk aktivitas yang memerlukan biaya dan waktu yang besar. Selain itu, aktivitas ini juga tak luput dari kesalahan manusia karena aktivitas pengecekan merupakan aktivitas yang membutuhkan ketelitian tinggi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan identifikasi objek atau produk yang bertujuan untuk menggantikan pemeriksaan manual manusia sehingga proses pemeriksaan jenis dan jumlah barang dapat dilakukan secara otomatis dan presisi. Pengolahan citra digital berbentuk Object Recognition digunakan pada penelitian ini untuk menentukan jenis objek dan jumlah objek. Hasil penelitian menunjukan tingkat deteksi produk tunggal mencapai 90% yang dipengaruhi oleh sudut pengambilan gambar dan tingkat deteksi jumlah objek tunggal mencapai > 81% dengan tingkat pencahayaan yang normal dan sudut pengambilan gambar yang ideal. Diharapkan dengan adanya sistem ini, biaya untuk aktivitas pemeriksaan persediaan dan aktivitas pergudangan secara umum dapat ditekan sehingga efisiensi dan efektivitas dapat dicapai.
Bullwhip effect is the most feared phenomenon by the majority of companies because it leads to high operating costs. Bullwhip will also grow along with the increase in network tier or echelon of a distribution system. Bullwhip will become more severe when distributed products are fragile food products and have uncertain lead times and demand. In the systematic literature of this review, we will review the previous research on how to minimize the occurrence of the bullwhip effect. We also compared the differences and similarity models between common bullwhip mitigating models with bullwhip mitigating models for perishable products that have short life cycles. In further research, we will create optimal model to mitigate bullwhip, integrate the use of SCOR Framework to assess supply chain performance in food companies to minimize bullwhip effect. By using SCOR framework, we will be able to know the supply chain structure that is priority to be improved so that bullwhip on perishable product will decrease.1 Index Terms-bullwhip effect, cause bullwhip effect, variable of bullwhip effect, perishable product, systematic literature-review (SLR).
