This study is conducted to better understand the potential of purun weaving as a suitable business approach that could support peatland restoration in South Sumatra. It aims to analyze the obstacles of purun weaving and its market potential as green products. This study applies qualitative and quantitative methods, including in-depth interviews and surveys. The in-depth interviews invove local business actors in Pedamaran Sub-district, Ogan Komering Ilir Regency (i.e. harvesters, weavers, and traders) and the policy-makers. Online and intercept surveys are conducted to analyze current condition and market potential of purun handicrafts, especially as the example of green products. Identified challenges include lack of market knowledge and connections, unstable supply of raw materials, lack of financial capitalization, and low product quality. The market potential for green products, however, is highly promising, as more than 80% of respondents are willing to pay a higher price for these products. Gaps between existing production system and market potential could be narrowed down by adjusting policies for existing peat swamp areas, improving access to microfinance, and implementing specific capacity building for the weavers. Moreover, suitable marketing strategies are required to support the business sustainability of purun weaving.
A Prototype of liquid waste polluted water measurement system based on refractive index, salinity, and magnetic field parameters, has been developed. The instrument consists of Potentiometer, Light Dependent Resistor (LDR), conductivity sensor, Hall Effect sensor, and microcontroller. Potentiometer and LDR sensors are used to measure the refractive index, a conductivity sensor as the salinity measurement device, Hall Effect sensor as a magnetic field detector, and Arduino UNO as the control system. Each sensor has been characterized using a standard measuring instrument to determine sensor sensitivity. The characterization results showed that the refractive index sensor has a sensitivity of 321.8 mV/refractive index unit and a relative error of 0.35%. The conductivity sensor has a sensitivity of 415.2 mV/ppt and a relative error of 5.26%. The magnetic field sensor has a sensitivity of 0.0077 Volt/Gauss and a relative error of 4.29%. The prototype was used to measure the water quality of an artificial wastewater and river water samples. The artificial wastewater was made of the composite of water, salt, and liquid soap with different concentrations, and the river water samples were taken from ten different regions. The results show that the addition of salt and liquid soap concentration was directly proportional to the refractive index, salinity, and magnetic field. All samples have salinity below the normal threshold of <0.5 ppt.
The purpose of this study was to find out Students’ listening ability in Arabic learning that has differences personalities. This study used a quantitative approach with experimental methods. It used a treatment pattern 2 x 2 design. The process of collecting data used questionnaires, tests, observations, and documentation. The data analysis technique is a 2-way variant analysis. The results showed that there are differences in each treatment group, there are differences in Arabic listening ability between students who have extrovert and introvert personality. On the results of analysis of variance at a significance level of 0.05 obtained F-count = 24 and F-table (0.05; 1:40) = 4.085. The results of the calculation of two-way ANOVA are obtained by the results of F count> F table, the test results are significant or H0 is rejected. This means that there are differences in the Arabic listening ability between students who have an extroverted personality and introverted personality.
Tugas akhir ini merupakan hasil dari analisis dan observasi yang penulis lakukan terhadap sisteminformasi yang sedang berjalan dan hasil perancangan yang baru dari aplikasi pengolahan datajuru parkir pada Dinas Perhubungan Kota Metro. Pada saat ini pengolahan data juru parkir sudahterkomputerisasi, namun pada kenyataannya masih ditemui beberapa permasalahan yaitu: a)tidak terkendalinya dan tidak optimalnya pengolahan data juru parkir, b) dalam pencarian datakaryawan masih kurang efektif, c) pembuatan laporan terkadang masih terjadi kesalahan.Adapun tujuan penelitiannya adalah sebagai berikut: untuk merancang aplikasi data juru parkirpada Dinas Perhubungan Kota Metro dan untuk memberikan kemudahan dalam proses pencariandata juru parkir dan proses cetak laporan pada setiap akhir bulan pada Dinas Perhubungan KotaMetro. Penelitian ini menggunakan beberapa metode berupa pengamatan, wawancara,dokumentasi dan studi pustaka. Selain itu dalam perkembangan aplikasi penulis menggunakanaliran informasi, diagram konteks, data flow diagram, dan entity relathionship diagram. Softwarependukung dalam pembuatan aplikasi ini adalah Delphi 7, database MySQL dan Quick Report.Kegunaan Penelitian yaitu ntuk meningkatkan kinerja pegawai pada bagian UPT PerparkiranDinas Perhubungan Kota Metro dalam pendataan juru parkir, untuk mempermudah prosespencarian data juru parkir pada Dinas Perhubungan Kota Metro, untuk mempermudah laporandata juru parkir dan meningkatkan perkembangan kinerja sistem dari yang lama ke sistem yangbaru pada Dinas Perhubungan Kota Metro.
