Permasalahan lingkungan hidup terus berkembang, isu pemanasan global menjadi perhatian dunia, sehingga program konservasi dan kehati terus digalakkan. Program Ngeramut Wareh Sapenmerupakan salah satu bentuk konservasi dan kehati berbasis pemberdayaan masyarakat sekitar hutan Arjuno ini diinisiasi oleh Yayasan Satu Daun dan PT. Tirta Investama Pabrik Pandaan bekerjasama dengan Perhutani, Pemerintah Desa Jatiarjo, LMDH Bumi Lestari, Universitas Yudharta, serta beberapa stakeholders lainnya. Hasil implementasi program Ngeramut Wareh Sapen diantaranya dilakukan pembibitan, penanaman pohon, inisiasi pendidikan lingkungan hidup berkelanjutan dengan mendirikan laboratorium tanaman langka, kandang sangkar hewan endemik, serta pondok latih. Selain itu, pemantauan dan evaluasi yang holistik terus dikembangkan untuk mengetahui perkembangan program Ngeramut Wareh Sapen ini, diantaranya melakukan data base pohon online, pemantauan hutan berbasis drone, studi lingkungan hidup yang berkelanjutan, serta evaluasi dengan melibatkan multistakholders.
Pesanggem Taman Kehati Sapen Nusantara (TKSN) is a farming community in the Sapen Forest Area of Mount Arjuno, Pasuruan. Coffee agroforestry is the main commodity for forest farmers in the TKSN area. For pest prevention, they have been using chemical pesticides to prevent the Coffee Fruit Borer. Through the Community Based Research approach, the companion team together with the community have succeeded in innovating vegetable pesticides coffee by utilizing Brugmansia Suaveolens Bercht. & J. Presl and Swietenia macrophylla King. as the main ingredients that are easily found in Taman Kehati Sapen Nusantara into environmentally friendly coffee pesticide products.
AbstrakKeberadaan serangga dapat dijadikan sebagai indikator keseimbangan ekosistem. Spesies serangga diurnal dan nokturnal juga terdapat di Hutan Sapen. Hal ini dikarenakan serangga tersebut mendapatkan persediaan makanan dan lingkungan yang mendukung untuk hidup. Penelitian ini dilakukan bertujuan untuk mengukur keanekaragaman, dan kemerataan serangga diurnal dan nokturnal pada Hutan Taman Kehati Sapen Nusantara. Pengumpulan spesimen dapat dilakukan secara teknik jelajah, yaitu terjun langsung ke lapangan dalam pengamatan dan pengambilan sampel. Sampel yang diambil dalam penelitian ini yaitu serangga yang aktif pada pagi sampai sore (serangga diurnal), dan serangga yang aktif pada malam hari (serangga nokturnal). Metode yang digunakan dalam pengamatan dan pengkoleksian serangga yaitu teknik tangkap langsung (direct sweeping) dan teknik jebakan (Trapping). Analisis data melalui identifikasi sampel, indeks Keanekaragamn (H’) dan Indeks Kemerataan (E). Hasil penelitian total temuan serangga malam dan serangga diurnal yaitu 344 individu, yang terdiri dari 8 ordo, 16 famili dan 35 spesies serangga terbanyak yaitu pada ordo Lepidoptera dan Ordo Orthoptera. Indeks Keanekaragaman (H’) pada serangga diurnal sebesar 2,363 dan serangga nokturnal sebesar 2,410 yang menunjukan bahwa nilai masing-masing serangga berkategori keanekaragaman sedang. Sedangkan Indeks kemerataan serangga diurnal sebesar 0,8 dan serangga nokturnal sebesar 0,9 yang menunjukan bahwa nilai masing masing serangga tersebut berkategori tinggi.Kata kunciSerangga Diurnal, Serangga Nokturnal, Keanekaragaman, Kemerataan, Hutan Sapen AbstractThe presence of insects can be used as an indicator of the balance of the ecosystem. The samples taken in this study were active from morning to evening (diurnal insects) and active at night (nocturnal insects). The methods used in observing and collecting insects are direct sweeping and trapping. Data analysis consists of sample identification, the diversity index (H') and Evenness Index (E). The results of the study total findings of nocturnal insects and diurnal insects were 344 individuals, consisting of 8 orders, 16 families and 35 species. Most insects are in the order Lepidoptera and Order Orthoptera. The Diversity Index (H') for diurnal insects is 2,363, and nocturnal insects are 2,410, which shows that the value of each insect is categorized as moderate diversity. Belum semua desa memiliki dasar-dasar pengembangan agroforestry yang baik. Melalui program KEHATi dalam program CSR PT. TIV, komunitas petani yang tersebar di Kawasan Gunung Arjuna Prigen di dorong untuk mengembangkan kopi dan pengolahannya berbasis agroforestry dengan baik.
Jatiarjo village has tourism potential well known to many people; moreover, this village is one of the buffer villages or recharge area areas in Pasuruan district. Besides tourism, the business in Jatiarjo village is coffee agribusiness. Each business actor runs his own business, and there is no institutional link between them, even though the activities they carry out are functionally interrelated. Such a business structure is not conducive to developing a sustainable coffee agribusiness business due to the absence of a harmonious and harmonious functional relationship between agribusiness actors, so market dynamics cannot always be responded to efficiently. The purpose of this assistance is to increase the income of coffee farmers, which quality and productivity can still be improved. The implementation of this service activity is carried out through Participatory Action Research, emphasizing community empowerment of coffee farmer groups as partners. The results of this mentoring generally stated that coffee farmers in Jatiarjo village received many benefits during this mentoring which in the end, they became more aware of coffee cultivation and processing
Hama utama yang menyerang tanaman kopi adalah Hypothenemus hampei Ferr. Keberadaan hama ini menjadi salah satu faktor penyebab rendahnya produksi kopi. Pengendalian yang umum dilakukan adalah menggunakan insektisida sintetik yang dapat berdampak buruk bagi lingkungan. Semnetara itu, tanaman kecubung gunung (Brugmansia Suaveolens) dan mahoni (Swietenia macrophylla) mengandung metabolit sekunder yang memiliki potensi sebagai bahan insektisida nabati. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kandungan fitokimia dan efektivitas insektisida nabati kombinasi daun B. suaveolens dan daun S. macrophylla dalam mengendalikan H. hampei. Penelitian dilakukan selama November 2021 sampai Januari 2022 di Laboratorium Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Yudharta Pasuruan dan Laboratorium Biologi ITSNU Pasuruan. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan lima formulasi perbandingan daun B. suaveolens dan S. macrophylla, yaitu F1 (500 g : 0 g), F2 (350 g : 150 g), F3 (250 g : 250 g), F4 (150 g : 350 g), dan F5 (0 g : 500 g) serta pelakuan kontrol negatif (air) dan kontrol positif (insektisida berbahan aktif karbaril 85%), masing-masing diulang tiga kali. Skrining fitokimia dilakukan untuk mengetahui kandungan metabolit sekunder sedangkan uji efektivitas dilakukan untuk mengetahui tiga parameter uji yaitu intensitas serangan, lethal time (LT50), dan mortalitas. Data dianalisis menggunakan Anova dengan tingkat signifikansi 5%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kelima formulasi insektisida nabati mengandung senyawa fenol, tanin, saponin, alkaloid, flavonoid, triterpenoid, dan steroid (kecuali F1 tidak mengandung saponin). Hasil uji efektivitas menunjukkan formulasi F2 dapat mengendalikan H. hampei dengan intensitas serangan sebesar 4,7 lubang gerekan mendekati kontrol positif (4,3 lubang gerekan), lethal time LT50 14,6 jam, dan mortalitas sebesar 53,3%.
The Sapen Nusantara Conservation forest park is agroforestry that has certain vegetation. The vegetation in Sapen Nusantara Protected forest park seems to support the existence of birds as wildlife that need a living habitat. The existence of bird species in Sapen Nusantara Protected forest park is very important in supporting agroforestry vegetation. However, until now the diversity of bird species there has not been identified and recorded properly. The forest is one of the buffer forests of Mount Arjuno protection forest, so the ecosystem must be maintained. This study aims to analyze the diversity of bird species in the agroforest forest area in Sapen Nusantara Conservation forest park, Ledug Village, Pasuruan. The research was conducted in July 2021 using the direct observation method (point count) on ecotourism routes by calculating and recording the trails traversed using GPS, sampling by observing walking along the path/road accompanied by predetermined observation points, identification based on MacKinnon et al., (2010) and information on the status of its protection. Data analysis used the Shannon-Wiener diversity index, evenness index, and species richness index. The results of the study identified 18 bird species from 16 families with a total of 169 individuals. Of all the birds found, 18 species are listed in IUCN status, and 4 are listed in the protected status PP No. P.106 of 2018 and 3 species are listed in the CITES category Appendix II. It is known that the Shannon diversity index (H'=2,547) is in the medium diversity category. species evenness index (E=0.9) with a high evenness category and stable community. Then the specific wealth index (R=3.31) with the category of species richness is classified as medium. The presence of birds in the Sapen Nusantara conservation park forest indicates that the ecosystem in the forest is still maintained and this cannot be separated from the role of the community, especially the Ledug Lembaga Masyarakat Desa Hutan (LMDH), which manages and maintains the forest.
The garbage problem in Pasuruan district has been in the emergency. This condition is caused because of garbage governance in Pasuruan Regency still use conventional method 3P (collection, transport and disposal) so that it can not reduce the amount of garbage dumped to TPA considering there is no process Waste processing done. Seeing the question of the Pasuruan district government made a waste handling policy through the SDSB Program (one village waste Bank). The Government's policy was responded well by the housewives at Taman Permata Indah Village of Pagak district of Beji District in Pasuruan Regency by forming the waste bank community TPI BISA. The establishment of waste bank TPI BISA this part of the response to the government policy while seeing the problem of many unhandled garbage that affects health and hygiene of the environment as a result of the increasing Population in the area. Household waste deposits generated within 1 month less than 6 quintals and every tendency month is increasing. Waste bank TPI BISA one of the waste bank that is sufficient to exist and has succeeded in managing the environment through the management of both organic and inorganic waste. In addition, the community also conducts garbage processing in the form of interesting and unique handcraft. But on the other hand, from the success also still leave a serious problem that the management system of waste bank TPI BISA be done by manual model so that there is often an error in recording the deposit amount Garbage whose edges often make a conflict in internal management of trash banks with members or customers of trash banks. Therefore, modernization of IT-based administrative management becomes a real need needed by waste bank TPI BISA, So that waste bank TPI BISA be worthy of an example of trash bank with IT-based management of mobile that can be developed thoroughly in Pasuruan Regency.
