<p>Fokus dari tulisan ini adalah penerapan pendidikan karakter yang didasarkan pada nilai-nilai Islam. Pendidikan karakter berdasarkan Islam artinya pendidikan karakter yang mana komponennya mencakup pengetahuan moral, perasaan tentang moral, dan perbuatan moral. Moral-moral tersebut dijajaki dan dikembangkan berdasarkan nilai-nilai Islam. Penerapan pendidikan karakter ini bertujuan untuk membentuk karakter siswa yang islami dan toleran. Penelitian ini menggunakan studi kepustakaan. Latar Belakang: Kecemasan merupakan masalah psikososial yang dapat berdampak buruk terhadap prognosis penyakit pasien Tujuan penelitian ini mengidentifikasi pengaruh terapi foot massage terhadap kecemasan pada pasien gagal ginjal kronis yang menjalani hemodialisa di Rumah Sakit Ulin Banjarmasin Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan desain quasi experiment dengan metode pre-posttest with control group design. Sampel dipilih secara puposive sampling yang berpedoman kepada kriteria penelitian, Hasil: Sebanyak 40 responden telah dipilih dalam penelitian ini untuk mengikuti terapi foot message dengan karakteristik usia 46-55 tahun (72,5%), jenis kelamin laki-laki (60%), tingkat pendidikan SMA 67,5%), mayoritas responden sudah bekerja (80%) dengan lama menjalani hemodialisis < 1 tahun (67,5%). Responden yang telah diberikan terapi foot massage menunjukan penurunan skor kecemasan secara signifikan dengan nilai p 0,000. Perbedaan yang bermakna juga ditemukan antara kelompok yang diberikan terapi foot message dengan kelompok kontrol dengan nilai p 0,014. Kesimpulan: Kecemasan pada pasien gagal ginjal kronis yang menjalani hemodialisa merupakan masalah yang harus segera diatasi. Pemberian terapi foot massage merupakan langkah awal dalam upaya mengurangi kecemasan pada pasien yang menjalani hemodialisis. Kata Kunci: Foot Massage, Gagal Ginjal Kronis, Hemodialis, Kecemasan
Introduction: Children often experience anxiety when undergoing the treatment process at the hospital. Efforts to reduce such anxiety can be done with music therapy and bibliotherapy. This study aims to analyze the differences in the effectiveness of music therapy and bibliotherapy in reducing anxiety in children before getting intravenous therapy.Methods: The research design was quasi-experimental, with the pretest and posttest approach. The population was 178 with 32 samples, each of the 16 respondents were given music therapy and bibliotherapy using a purposive sampling technique. Data were collected with observation sheets from the adoption of the HAM-A scale, analyzed by the Wilcoxon test and independent T test at a significance level of p ≤ 0.05.Results: There were differences in children's anxiety when getting intravenous therapy before and after music therapy and bibliotherapy with p = 0.001 (p <0.05), and there was no difference in the effectiveness of the two p values = 0.91 (p> 0.05), but the average bibliotherapy reduced anxiety by 65%, and music therapy by 57%.Conclusion: Bibliotherapy can be given as complementary therapy in children before intravenous therapy.
This is an educational Research and Development (R and D) aimed at developing Islamic-based reading instructional materials for students of Islamic Education Department. The phases of the research were simplified into three phases: the exploration phase, the model development phase, and the model testing phase. In the exploration phase, an evaluation was conducted to describe the existence and quality of the present reading materials. During the model development phase, a draft of Islamic-based reading instructional materials was designed and revised based on the inputs from FGD and expert evaluators. Try out of the draft model was also conducted in this phase. In the model testing phase, the draft was experimentally tested to see the effectiveness of the product in developing the students’ reading comprehension. This research revealed that the present reading materials did not accommodate the learners needs to learn English using Islamic materials. Therefore, the new reading materials in the forms of Islamic-based reading instructional materials need to be developed. The experimental research proved that the students taught using the designed Islamic-based reading instructional materials performed better in reading comprehension test compared to the students who were taught using the materials taken from the present reading materials. The results of the test indicated that the mean scores of the experimental group were higher than those of the control group. This difference was analyzed statistically using t-test to interpret the difference. The analysis revealed that the Sig. (2-tailed) was .021 which was smaller than the level of significance scores .05 (.012 .05). This statistically indicated that the different mean scores between the experimental and the control groups were the result of the different treatment given to the two groups. Thus, the use of Islamic-based reading materials influenced the reading comprehension achievement of the students.
