Kondisi empiris menunjukkan bahwa sampai saat ini sebagian besar lulusan perguruan tinggi masih mendambakan menjadi PNS atau pegawai swasta, ketimbang menjadi entrepreneur. Padahal peluang untuk menjadi PNS semakin kecil bila dibandingkan jumlah lulusan perguruan tinggi setiap tahunnya, akibatnya jumlah penganguran intelektuan menduduki posisi tertinggi dibanding dengan lulusan pendidikan lainnya. STIE Nobel Indonesia telah mencanangkan diri sebagai “Nobel School of Business” sejak tahun 2009. Untuk itu Program Pengembangan Kewirausahaan (PPK) STIE Nobel Indonesia diharapkan mampu menghasilkan wirausaha muda mandiri, sekaligus mewujudkan “Nobel School of Business” tersebut. Kajian ini bertujuan mengamati implementasi program PPK STIE Nobel Indonesia. Desain penelitian ini adalah deskriptif, kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Pengumpulan data dengan cara wawancara mendalam, kuesioner dan pemeriksaan dokumen, sekaligus keterlibatan dalam Program Pengembangan Kewirausahaan (PPK) STIE Nobel Indonesia. Analisis data dengan cara reduksi data dan analisis SWOT. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: motivasi mahasiswa untuk berwirausaha sudah tumbuh namun masih perlu ditingkatkan, metode jemput bola terbukti efektif sebagai sosialisasi dan seleksi program PPK, metode Coaching NLP terbukti berhasil meningkatkan usaha mahasiswa menjadi wirausaha muda mandiri. Dari 20 orang peserta PPK tahun pertama 2018, diharapkan minimal 5 orang berhasil menjadi wirausaha baru yang siap berkompetisi di masyarakat.
PTIs are encouraged to participate in entrepreneurial activities that are appropriate for their area and ability. Thus, this qualitative case study where a semi-structured interview with the selected Malaysian Private Tahfiz Institutions (PTIs) was conducted to identify entrepreneurial activities to pay operational and management costs, to analyze the obstacles, limitations, problems faced and to assess the balance of entrepreneurial activities in educational governance of these religious, educational institutions. The findings demonstrated that involving PTIs in entrepreneurship can cover ranging from 40 to 50 percent of total operating costs. Among the biggest challenge faced by a tahfiz student in memorising the Quran is to remember the mutashabihat verses which appear to be similar to one another. The difficulty in memorising and remembering the mutashabihat verses require specific teaching and learning methods from the tahfiz institutions, teachers and students. However, to what extent this matter is addressed seriously at tahfiz institutions still remains a question. Therefore, the objective of the study is to identify the issues and problems in teaching and memorising the mutashabihat verses among tahfiz lecturers and students. The study selected Darul Quran Jakim and Department of al-Quran and al-Qiraat, Kolej Universiti Islam Antarabangsa Selangor as the research locations. This study was developed based on the qualitative method using semi-structured interviews as the research instrument. Four experienced tahfiz lecturers and 30 tahfiz students from both institutions were selected as participants. Among the issues and problems that has been found regarding to the mutashabihat verses are: 1) no specific reference book to assist students to identify mutashabihat verses, 2) lack of focus given on the verses during tasmi' sessions. This study has proposed an appropriate solution for each of these problems.
Today, the whole world has been tested with the Covid-19 outbreak which has been a while. In addition, it lead to the economy affected and also has a clear impact on the education sectors. The teaching and learning method for Qiraat course traditionally face -to face is converted online teaching and learning (T&L). Therefore, this study aims to explore students' dimensions on use of the medium of technology of Qiraat course during Covid-19. This study is a qualitative study using case study in University Islamic Sciences Malaysia (USIM). The results show that the technology medium used by USIM students for learning Qiraat is Microsoff Teams. There were 60 % students agreed that the advantage of using the technology for Qiraat T&L made the course easier and flexible, 80% students mentioned main constraints of this T&L is internet coverage. Meanwhile, 20% said the main problem the challenges in implementing lesson revision and lecturers could not monitor students. Therefore, this study has important implications for the universities and institution of tahfiz studies in Malaysia towards formation of a more powerful and quality Quranic generation.
Taujih qiraat is a knowledge that discusses the meaning and justification in the Qur'anic variant reading (qiraat). Scholars of this field often refer to fundamental aspects in Arabic language such as grammar, phonology, morphology and semantic aspects in explaining the meaning and justification of the variation in Qur`anic reading. However, in certain circumstances some scholars also refer to hadith as a source in their explanation and description. Thus, this study discusses the role of hadith of the Prophet SAW in this field of knowledge, by making the book of Hujjah al-Qiraat written by Ibn Zanjalah as a study material. The study was conducted using content analysis methods, by performing an observation on the hadiths used in the Hujjah al-Qiraat, which were then analyzed descriptively to identify the role of these hadith in explaining the meaning and justification of the variation in Qur`anic reading. Among the important findings of this study is; the role of hadith in this knowledge is seen from three aspects, namely it describes the meaning of a qiraat, strengthens the existence of a qiraat directly and also strengthens the existence of a qiraat indirectly. The study also found that the role of hadith is relatively small, compared to the number of Qur`anic words that recited with various readings, and some of the hadiths were not found in the major hadith books, but most of these hadiths are supported with other hadiths as a syawahid (auxiliary).
