Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) could predispose to both venous and arterial thromboembolism, in an exaggerated immune response to the virus, especially in severe patients. Even though aortic clots are a rare entity, the pro-coagulant nature of COVID-19 is associated with thrombosis in atypical locations and should be considered in patients with severe abnormalities in coagulation parameters. We describe a series of three cases of aortic thrombi diagnosed by computerized tomography (CT) angiography in patients with confirmed SARS-CoV-2 infection. INTRODUCCIÓNLa dermatosis ampollosa crónica infantil o dermatosis IgA lineal de la infancia (DAIL) es un trastorno autoinmunitario poco frecuente, con una incidencia en Europa de 0,5 casos nuevos por millón de habitantes al año, adquirido, y que consiste en la aparición de ampollas subepidérmicas. Puede afectar a cualquier edad, aunque muestra dos picos de incidencia: uno en los niños de edad escolar y otro hacia los 60 años 1 .Su etiopatogenia es desconocida, aunque se ha relacionado con el uso de fármacos 2 , con ciertas infecciones, enfermedades de base inmune (enfermedad de Crohn, enfermedad celiaca, glomerulonefritis postestreptocócica, etc.) y procesos linfoproliferativos. En los casos de DAIL en el contexto del paciente hospitalizado, es necesario investigar los distintos tratamientos farmacológicos que toma, con el fin de retirarlos, ya que se trata de la enfermedad ampollosa autoinmune que más a menudo es desencadenada por fármacos. The differential diagnosis includes other bullous diseases such as Dermatitis herpetiformis, Bullous impetigo and especially Bullous pemphigoid.We present two cases of LABD, recently seen in our department and we do a brief review of the disease.

In this review we summarize the available evidence regarding the application of stem cell therapy for human cardiovascular repair, going over the principal concepts that will help us understand the present and future of this therapy: first the different types of cells available in clinical practice, second the delivery approaches, and third highlighting the most important clinical studies and their efficacy and safety results. In addition, we also speculate on the value of current clinical data to gain an insight into the mechanism of stem cell-based cardiac repair and to design clinical trials in the future.

Episcleral hemangiomas are usually associated with neonatal hemangiomatosis. Recently, propranolol has been described for the treatment of this entity. We present for the first time a patient with an episcleral hemangioma without neonatal hemangiomatosis successfully treated with topical timolol.

We report the case of a 6-month-old Hispanic boy with a 4-month history of widespread pruritic hypopigmented papules mimicking lichen nitidus. The final diagnosis was multisystem non-risk-organ Langerhans cell histiocytosis (LCH), with cutaneous and multiple bone involvement. With this patient and others previously reported in the literature, we suggest an early biopsy of the hypopigmented rash in children.
