Pertumbuhan saat balita memiliki dampak terhadap kehidupan selanjutnya karena masa balita merupakan masa kritis (golden period). Status gizi anak harus diperhatikan sejak dalam kandungan. Asupan gizi yang baik pada saat kehamilan penting untuk pertumbuhan janin sampai bayi dilahirkan. Bayi lahir dengan berat badan rendah dapat mengalami risiko gangguan pertumbuhan dengan gizi kurang, pendek dan kurus. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan riwayat status gizi ibu masa kehamilan yang dinilai dengan pertambahan berat badan ibu trimester III dan ukuran LILA dengan pertumbuhan balita. Desain penelitian dengan cross sectional. Jumlah sampel sebanyak 109 ibu yang mempunyai balita di Kecamatan Soreang, Kabupaten Bandung pada bulan Maret-November 2016. Pengambilan sample dengan multistage random sampling dan dianalisis dengan uji Gamma Chi-square. Tidak terdapat hubungan antara lingkar lengan atas (LILA) ibu saat hamil dengan pertumbuhan anak balita berdasarkan BB/U (p=0,065), TB/U (p=0,218) dan BB/TB (p=0,089). Dan juga tidak terdapat hubungan antara pertambahan berat badan ibu trimester III kehamilan dengan pertumbuhan balita berdasarkan BB/U (p=0,978), TB/U (p=0,678) dan BB/TB (p=0,724). Tidak terdapat hubungan antara riwayat status gizi ibu pada masa kehamilan berdasarkan ukuran LILA dan pertambahan berat badan ibu hamil trimester III dengan pertumbuhan anak balita.Kata Kunci: Masa Kehamilan, Pertumbuhan Balita, Status Gizi
Integrated health post (posbindu) is a place for the elderly to obtain various health services to improve their quality of life. The satisfaction of the health care volunteers (cadres) has an important role in the success of the posbindu. The higher the cadre’s satisfaction, the higher the performance in managing the posbindu. According to Herzberg, two factors that contributed to the work satisfaction, namely motivator factor and hygiene factor. Identifying these factors is important, so that cadres can remain active and satisfy in doing their work in the posbindu. The purpose of this study was to explore the components of cadres’ satisfaction in providing health services in the posbindu based on Herzberg's factors A qualitative phenomenological study was conducted on 12 active and 6 inactive cadres in 16 posbindu, Bandung City, West Java, Indonesia. A purposive sampling was performed to select the posbindu and the cadres. Data collection was carried out by an in-depth interview to explore the work satisfaction factors based on the concept of the Herzberg theory. Triangulation was based on the result of active and inactive cadres interviews, as well as observation of the activities during the posbindu. This study discovered practicing religious teachings and social relations as two new components that can influence satisfaction and dissatisfaction in the workplace.
Background: The First Thousand Days of Life (Golden Period) is a very critical period from the moment of conception to infant aged 2-year-olds which, if not properly utilized, will have permanent damage such as impaired physical growth, intelligence, and non-communicable diseases. The soon-to-be married couple is one of the target groups to improve health quality in the First 1000 Days of Life (1000 FDL). Improvement of the quality of health can be achieved by providing health education using Kartu Cinta Anak (KCA). Objective: The purpose of this study is to determine the effectiveness of health education using KCA about 1000 FDL in improving the knowledge of soon-to-be married couple in KUA Jatinangor Sub District.Methods: This research used a quantitative method with pre-experimental design in the form of pretest-posttest, conducted in July 2017. The sample of the research are soon-to-be married couples registered in KUA Jatinangor sub district who have never been married and have not had children. The total number of samples are 34 pairs of respondents. Data analysis using Paired Sample t-test.Results: The results showed that the use of KCA was effective in improving soon to be married couple’s knowledge about 1000 FDL, with Paired Sample t-test value of <0,05 (P = 0,000), suggesting that there was significant difference in soon-to-be married couple’s knowledge before and after health education.Conslusion: The conclusion of this research is the use of KCA is effective in improving the knowledge of soon-to-be married couple about the First 1000 Days of Life.
AbstrakLatar Belakang: Menopause merupakan hal yang fisiologis bagi setiap wanita. Wanita yang menghadapi menopause akan mengalami beberapa keluhan baik secara fisik maupun psikis. Gejala yang dialami wanita pada masa menjelang menopause menyebabkan ketidaksiapan ibu tentang perubahan fisik maupun psikis. Untuk mengurangi hal tersebut wanita harus mempersiapkan diri baik secara fisik maupun psikis dalam menghadapi menopause.Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran pengetahuan ibu tentang persiapan fisik dan psikis memasuki masa menopause di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Soreang.Metode: Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif dengana pendekatan cross sectional dilaksanakan di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Soreang. Sampel penelitian ini sebanyak 80 orang ibu yang berusia 40 – 45 tahun dengan pengambilan sample menggunakan teknik multistage random sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuesioner.Hasil: Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar responden memiliki tingkat pendidikan SLTA sebanyak (46,3%), jumlah paritas 1 – 2 anak sebanyak (56,3%) dan 3 atau lebih sebanyak (43,8%), sedangkan sebagian besar tinggal bersama suami dan anak sebanyak 68 responden (85%) sedangkan gambaran pengetahuan tentang persiapan fisik dan persiapan psikis memasuki masa menopause masih dikatakan cukup yaitu sebesar (67,5%) pengetahuan persiapan fisik dan (65%) pengetahuan persiapan psikis. Hasil penelitian ini dapat diharapkan peran aktif dari petugas kesehatan dapat memberikan penyuluhan, memberikan informasi persiapan fisik dan psikis menopause serta ibu aktif dalam kegiatan poswindu agar meningkatkan pengetahuan tentang persiapan fisik dan psikis menopauseKesimpulan: Dapat disimpulkan ibu di wilayah kerja Puskemas Soreang memiliki pengetahuan persiapan fisik dan psikis menopause dalam kategori cukup.Kata kunci: Pengetahuan; Persiapan Fisik dan Psikis; Menopause. AbstractBackground: Menopause is physiological for women. Women who face menopause will experience both physical and psychological complaints. The symptoms experienced by women in the days leading up to the menopause causing women to feel unprepared about the physical and psychological changes of menopause. To reduce this, women should prepare themselves physically and psychologically in dealing with menopause.Objective: This study aimed to determine the description of mother's knowledge about physical and psychological preparation entering the menopause period in the working area of Soreang Community Health Center.Methods: This research was descriptive research with cross sectional approach. The samples of this research were 80 people aged 40 - 45 years by using Cluster Sampling technique. The instrument used was questionnaire.Results: The results of this study indicated that the highest percentage of education level of respondents was senior high school level (46.3%), the number of parity is not much different from 1 to 2 children (56.3%) and 3 or more (43.8%). The highest percetage of the residence type was living together with husband and child (85%). The description of knowledge is sufficiently categorized (67.5%) of physical knowledge and (65%) knowledge of psychological preparation. In relation to the results of this study, the active role of health officials was expected to be able to provide counseling or provide information about the physical and psychological preparation of menopause. On the onther hand, mothers who were active in poswindu was expected to further improve the knowledge about menopause preparation.Conclusions: It can be concluded that mothers in the Soreang Community Health Center work area have knowledge of menopausal physical and psychological preparation in sufficient categories.Keywords : Knowledge; Physical and Psychological Preparation; Menopause
Latar belakang. Jawa Barat menjadi provinsi kedua dengan insiden difteri terbanyak di Indonesia pada tahun 2016 dan 2018. Infeksi difteri berat ditandai oleh bull neck dan komplikasi seperti miokarditis, neuritis, dan obstruksi saluran napas atas (OSNA). Status imunisasi merupakan faktor yang memengaruhi infeksi difteri. Tujuan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara status imunisasi dengan kejadian difteri berat.Metode. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan potong lintang. Populasi penelitian adalah data rekam medis pasien difteri anak rawat inap RSUP Dr. Hasan Sadikin Bandung periode Januari 2015 – Juli 2019 dengan metode total sampling. Kriteria inklusi adalah rekam medis yang terdapat data mengenai jenis kelamin, usia, status imunisasi, manifestasi klinis, durasi, serta keluaran. Hubungan status imunisasi dengan kejadian difteri berat dianalisis menggunakan uji eksak Fisher.Hasil. 42 pasien terdiri dari 29 (69 %) laki-laki dan 13 (31 %) perempuan, usia terbanyak 5-9 tahun. Terdapat 20 (47,6%) pasien dengan bull neck, 13 (31,0%) pasien OSNA, 1 (2,4%) pasien neuritis. Satu orang meninggal, yaitu pasien difteri berat dengan OSNA dan sepsis. Hasil analisis uji eksak Fisher diperoleh hubungan antara status imunisasi dengan kejadian difteri berat dengan nilai p=0,036. Kesimpulan. Terdapat hubungan antara status imunisasi dengan kejadian difteri berat.
