No association between GLO and Hp was found in three Brazilian samples (153 Whites, 216 Blacks from Porto Alegre and 564 mixed individuals from Aracaju). In a sample of 174 Blacks (settled along the Trombetas river) a moderate (p < 0.02) association was found, but not of the same kind as that observed by other authors. Population stratification instead of interactions in fitness may explain our findings.
Objective: To identify the prevalence of common mental disorders and associated factors in school adolescents. Method: Cross-sectional study with 230 adolescents from a public school in Salvador, Bahia, Brazil. We used a questionnaire and an assessment scale for common mental disorders. The data were processed in STATA, version 12. Results: The prevalence of common mental disorders in schoolchildren was 52.2%. Multivariate analysis identified a positive association with statistical significance between the condition and the variables:female gender (PR = 3.06; 95% CI: 1.77-5.4), black race (PR = 2.08; 95% CI: 1.04-4.16),having a boyfriend (PR = 2.07; 95% CI: 1.06-4.03) and smoking cigarettes once in a lifetime (PR = 2.88; 95% CI : 1.31 - 6.31). The school increase (OR = 0.52; 95% CI: 0.29-0.91) was identified as a protective factor. Conclusion: Female gender, black race, having a relationship, and having smoked cigarettes are factors that increase the chances of adolescents having common mental disorders.
The study aimed to analyze the phenomenon of sexual violence against children and adolescents in the state of Bahia, between 2014 and 2016, since its characterization to spatial relations. This is an ecological study of reported cases of sexual violence in children and adolescents, which occurred in Bahia, with sociodemographic characterization of cases, occurrences and aggressors; time trend of rates and Moran statistic I for spatial analysis. A total of 2,443 cases were reported, the victims were mostly female (85.2%), mean age 12 years and brown (69.3%); the aggressors were known (44.2%) and males (95.0%). In relation to the distribution of rates, there was a variation from 1.7/100,000 inhabitants in January 2014 to 1.0/100,000 inhabitants in December 2016. In spatialization, there was an incidence of the phenomenon in almost all of the municipalities of Bahia (96%) with high-high cluster formation at approximately 6%. Thus, it is concluded that children and adolescents are potentially exposed to sexual violence. The spatialization of cases opens a range of possibilities for planning health surveillance strategies, aiming at more assertive interventions.
Objective: To analyze the theoretical-practical articulation of the continuous learning of leadership in undergraduate Nursing. Methods: Case study carried out at a Northeast federal public university. For data collection, semi-structured interview techniques, workshops, and document analysis were applied. Forty Nursing students participated in the interviews, and 26 in the workshops. The data were submitted to Minayo’s operative analysis using the Nvivo software. Peter Senge’s concepts were adopted. Results: The students demonstrated a greater understanding of the theme throughout the course and recognized contributing elements to the continuous learning of leadership, such as behavioral characteristics and the use of methodological approaches integrated with theoretical and practical spaces. Final considerations: The teaching of leadership is relevant in Nursing education, and this has been recognized by students, but still requires changes for it to become operational, with an improvement and a theoretical-practical integration of the cultivated experiences, suitable to the reality of the craft.

In this way, it raises warning signs for family members, health professionals, education, protective devices and the whole of society about the need to observe signs of these changes on a daily basis, seeking to investigate their possible relationship with sexual assault.
