The research used a qualitative approach and the data were obtained through the analysis of 35 questionnaires completed by school teachers, group leaders and the management team. The results showed that the workers, mostly, had experienced oppression in the existing school power relations. This experience had prevented them from developing as individuals in this context, constructing their own history and therefore being able to transform reality. Due to this, we understand how important a conscious action of the school psychologist intervening in the existing power relations in school is, in order to ensure the whole and healthy development of children and educational workers. Dignity and the pre-school education: vision of parents and educators AbstractThe Statute of Children and Adolescents -ECA is based in a Doctrine of Integral Protection -liberty, dignity and respect to children. In the social inequalities, the realization of the universal rights and its application is difficult. This article is part of a study about the comprehension that parents and educators have about the guarantee and violation of the children's protection rights, with an emphasis in the DIGNITY right. The research was accomplished in a public pre-school, with discussion meetings involving parents and educators. It was used as data base a screenplay to characterize the participants and the protocols to the dignity concept and the guarantee of the violation of this right at home, at school, and in the community. The results showed the guarantee to dignity at home is associated to the material conditions that the parents have to supply the necessity of the children and, otherwise, if there is financial difficulty, the necessity will be violated. The lack of quality and the unequal access to education were also considered as factors that violate the child dignity at school, while the lack of available public services and the State disinterest mark the dignity infringement in the community.
This paper aims to discuss initial education in School Psychology in Brazil in the framework of the pandemic, addressing the challenges in emergency remote teaching. Therefore, considerations were made about the initial training of the school psychologists, their relationship with the performance of emergency remote teaching. in universities and, finally, the difficulties existing in the current reality. The training challenge during the pandemic refers to the change in the way activities are carried out and theoretical and practical teaching subjects that use digital technologies; in addition to difficulties associated with social conditions, health or access to equipment and the internet, which have implications for the training of undergraduates across the country. The importance of a careful look at the training of a professional who has experienced a different training process in relation to academic experiences and the development of professional skills is discussed.
