Previous studies have shown that the creativity of students who are prospective biology teacher is still low. Even though some efforts have been made, the level of creativity is still low and needs to be improved. This is important before the students become teachers in the community. This study thus aims to examine the effectiveness of the reflective learning model in improving the creativity of students who are prospective biology teachers. This is a literature review study that collect references from various sources, such as journals on Google Scholar, Science Direct, Mendeley and many more to answer the research question. The results showed that the reflective learning model can improve creativity; thus, it is recommended to be applied by lecturers in teaching students who are prospective biology teachers.
The material for culturing and coloring bacteria is abstract, requiring other alternatives to understand the material through a practicum in a virtual laboratory. This development research aims to produce virtual laboratory media for high school students. The media development was carried out using the ADDIE model. Media and material experts' and product validation obtained results in a very good category. The feasibility of this virtual laboratory media was practically seen through the results of the teacher's response which is in the excellent category, and the analysis of the perception of small group students is in a good category. Trials for large groups of students were performed in the two classes of MIA. The obtained result was in an excellent category, with Choen's Kappa index of 0.47 (significant 0.00), indicating a fairly strong and significant agreement on the students' responses in both classes regarding the feasibility of the developed virtual laboratory media. It can be concluded that the virtual laboratory media on culturing and coloring bacteria is feasible to be used in schools as an alternative to practicum learning media.
Most of digital immigrant lecturers (DILs) in university possess good perceived usefulness but at some extent they hold low perceived easiness towards e-learning portals such as the LMS. This study aimed to analyses the digital-immigrant lecturers’ perceived easiness about e-learning portals and the relationship between the perception and their acceptance towards the portals. This study used survey and experimental research designs. The subjects of this study involve 78 participants of the University students of information communication technology peer-tutorial training. A questionnaire was used to collect the data, during the training they were encouraged to express their perceived easiness about and acceptance towards the portals via a questionnaire. Data were analyzed using the Wilcoxon test and the Spearman rho correlation test. The results of the analysis show that the peer-tutorial training increases the digital-immigrant lecturers’ perceived easiness about the portals. The results also show there is a significant correlation between the perceived easiness and their acceptance towards the portals. It seems that the training is effective in promoting the digital-immigrant lecturers’ perceived easiness about the e-learning portals which is significantly contributive to their acceptance to use them.
The background of this research is dependence the learning process by students to teachers and the lowers score of physics. There is some factors of that such as students can not doing independent study and the less of material in the school. The purpose of this research and development find out expediency the develop, practice and effective of interactive multimedia. This research and development using ADDIE models develop design. The technique of collecting the data by using questionnaire and multiple choice question. The analysis technique of this research using qualitative and quantitative method. Based on the results of validation develop multimedia doing by expert are valid and can be trying, while the result of response of the teacher got 90,7% in the excellent category, the result of response of the students try out one by one got 92,44% in the excellent category, the result of response of the students try out in a small group got 90,5% in the excellent category and the result roomy and effective try out got 58,96 in control class and 72,92 in experiment class.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
