The use of herbal medicinal products and supplements in amateur and professional sports has increased in the last decades. This is because most of these products and supplements contain bioactive compounds with a variety of biological properties that exert a physiological effect on the human body. The aim of this study was to analyze the effect of dietary supplementation with lyophilized black chokeberry extract on the levels of pro-inflammatory cytokines, hepcidin, and selected markers of iron metabolism in a group of young football players. This double-blind study included 22 male football players (mean = 19.96 ± 0.56), divided into two groups: supplemented and placebo. Before and after a 90-day period of training combined with supplementation (6 g of lyophilized black chokeberry extract), participants performed maximal multistage 20-m shuttle run tests at the beginning and at the end of the supplementation period, with blood sampled for analysis at different times before and after exercise. The levels of IL-6, IL-10, ferritin, myoglobin, hepcidin, 8-OHdG, albumin, and TAC were analyzed. The analysis of variance revealed a significant effect of 90-day supplementation with the lyophilized extract on changes in the IL-6 and IL-10 levels, and TAC induced by maximal aerobic effort. In conclusion, supplementation with lyophilized black chokeberry extract improves the performance and antioxidant status of serum in humans and induces protective changes in inflammatory markers.

Purpose:to determine main laws of determination of athletes' fitness structure's individual characteristics with the help of multidimensional analysis (on example of basketball). Material:in the research elite basketball players (n=54) participated. Pedagogic testing included 12 tests, applied in combined teams of Ukraine and Russia. For every test three attempts were given and the best result was registered. The tests were passed during 2-3 training sessions. Results:we worked out general scheme of ways of athletes' training individualization. For every athlete we determined the groups of leading and secondary factors in individual structure of fitness. The process of athletes' training shall contain basic and variable components. Basic component was 70% of means in general system of athletes' training. Variable component was 30% of means and implies application of individual training means. Percentage of means in individual programs varies depending on the following: leading factors in fitness individual structure; period of individual dynamic of competition efficiency. In every micro-cycle 30% is assigned for athletes' individual training: athletes received individual tasks; groups on the base of cluster analysis data were formed, if necessary. Conclusions:when working out individual training programs, development of leading factors in individual factorial structure of athletes' fitness shall be accented. Application of individual programs, combined with universal individualization methods creates preconditions for rising competition activities' efficiency.

Purpose:The purpose of the research is to develop an algorithm of teams' formation in sport aerobics and to define factorial structure of athletes' fitness. Material:in the research sport aerobics' athletes (n=19) participated. All athletes are members of Kharkiv national team (Ukraine). All athletes underwent complete medical examination. The functional condition of an organism (arterial blood pressure, indicators of a variability of the rhythm of the heart, treadbahn testing), psycho-physiological state (time's determination of simple and complex reaction) were defined. The physical development and physical fitness and stability of vestibular system were also defined. The factorial and cluster analysis were used. Results:The algorithm of teams' formation in sport aerobics is developed for performances in various competitive categories. The algorithm contains all stages of standard procedure of the factorial and cluster analysis. In the factorial analysis the individual factorial values were also defined. Conclusions:The obtained data are recommended to be used at teams' formation for performances in various competitive categories: team formation for pair and group performances. The general and individual factorial structure of athletes' complex fitness is defined. It is possible to select athletes with similar qualities and with different qualities for the mixed performances. The determination of individual factorial structure of fitness permits to estimate objectively variants of athletes' formation in groups.

The study objective is to determine the structure of coordination abilities development in 5 th -7 th grade girls. materials and methods. The participants in the study were 5 th grade girls (n = 20), 6 th grade girls (n = 23), 7 th grade girls (n = 19). The study used the following methods: analysis and collation of scientific and methodological literature, general scientific methods of theoretical level, such as analogy, analysis, synthesis, abstraction, induction, as well as general scientific methods of empirical level: observation, testing, experiment. To evaluate motor preparedness, the study recorded the results of motor tests, body height and weight. The IBM SPSS 20 statistical analysis software was used to process the study materials. A factor analysis was performed, for which the study used principal component analysis with the rotation method: Variamax with Kaiser Normalization. results. The analysis of similarities shows that the most informative tests in the structure of motor preparedness of the 5 th grade girls are the following: test 11 "Evaluation of the ability for vestibular (statokinetic) stability. In the structure of coordination abilities of the 5 th -7 th grade girls, the most informative components are the sense and differentiation of running speed, vestibular stability in exercises that require static and dynamic equilibrium. Введение. Студенческая молодежь на современном этапе является наиболее социально активной и мобильной группой, которая в значительной мере определяет будущее государства [2, 7, 12]. Молодой специалист должен быть не только хорошо подготовлен, но и физически развит, вынослив [3]. Однако в последние годы отмечается ухудшение показателей физического развития и физической подготовленности, в том числе и у студенческой молодежи. Только за последние 10 лет заболеваемость среди студентов увеличилась на 35 % [5, 8]. Purpose : to provide a quantitative description of the muscle component of students’ body with regard to their motor characteristics to improve training in the discipline "Physical Education". Material : a study of muscular component of the body in 1937 students aged 17-20 years old of age living in the Baikal region. Motor quality students were evaluated by tests. Problem analysis was conducted based on the data of Polish authors. Results : the dependence of the amount of content in muscle mass in the body of the frequency of physical training in high school. Also found significantly higher levels of performance in motor tests in the group of students with a high level of expression of muscle mass. Conclusions : the studies have shown a direct relationship content of lean body mass of locomotor activity. Set better indicator values in tests of physical fitness with a high content of muscle tissue. Lack of exercise training on older years is recommended to compensate for self-manage motor activities.

The monograph presents the results of identifying the influence of various methods on the indicators of physical fitness and psycho-physiological functions of people of different age and social groups. Psychophysiology (from Greek ψῡχή, psȳkhē, «breath, life, soul»; φύσις, physis, «nature, origin»; and -λογία, -logia) is the branch of psychology that is concerned with the physiological bases of psychological processes. One of the methods of experimental psychophysiology is Mental chronometry. Mental chronometry is studied using measurements of reaction time (RT), which is the elapsed time between the presentation of a sensory stimulus and the subsequent behavioral response. The results of mental chronometry were used as psychophysiological functions and psychophysiological indicators in our studies. The book presents a study of the psycho-physiological functions of children of preschool and school age, studies of the psycho-physiological functions of athletes — representatives of various sports, as well as athletes with disabilities. The studies used the methods of multidimensional analysis indicators of integrated testing. The influence of integrated technologies (physical and intellectual impact) on psycho-physiological functions and physical fitness is shown.
