O referido artigo se propõe a discutir o contexto atual, que devido a pandemia do Coronavírus, afetou distintos setores da sociedade, inclusive a educação. Neste trabalho são discutidos conceitos como Educação a distância e educação remota no cenário público, mas destacando as experiências e práticas pedagógicas que vêm sendo realizadas em Salvador, na rede privada de ensino para educação básica. Para tanto, foi realizada uma interlocução com os documentos oficiais, artigos, reportagens que tratam do tema, bem como, dados de observação de práticas realizadas por crianças em atividades remota. Nas conclusões aponta-se trilhas para delinear ações no contexto do ensino remoto, durante e pós pandemia.
Diante da pandemia causada pelo novo Coronavírus, o mundo está construindo ações emergenciais para atender as mais variadas demandas. O distanciamento social fechou as universidades e passou a exigir um novo modelo educacional, a partir de uma maior utilização da tecnologia para seguir com os conteúdos programados para o semestre em curso. No entanto, a dificuldade de acesso à tecnologia, ainda presente em grande parte da nossa sociedade, é um dos pontos que contribui fortemente para o afastamento dos discentes do processo de formação e contribui para o afastamento observado entre as decisões e ações emergenciais adotadas pelas universidades públicas e pelas privadas. A formação de futuros profissionais de saúde é ainda mais desafiadora neste contexto, visto que a educação à distância se apresenta como insuficiente para alcançar as habilidades exigidas ao ofício de cuidar de seres humanos em toda a sua complexidade.
