Este artículo describe cómo las y los estudiantes y docentes mexicanos de Educación Media Superior (EMS) están adaptándose a la situación de emergencia sanitaria provocada por el COVID-19. Para ello se recolectaron datos en una muestra de n=11,850 docentes y n= 39,582 estudiantes que representan a diferentes estados, instituciones públicas y privadas ubicadas en contextos urbanos y rurales mexicanos. Un cuestionario en línea indagó tres dimensiones: la pedagógica, la psicológica y la tecnológica. Entre los principales hallazgos se encuentran los siguientes: pedagógicamente, docentes y estudiantes han sido flexibles, al adaptar métodos presenciales combinando recursos digitales y tradicionales. Tecnológicamente, solo la mitad de los docentes reportan una adecuada conectividad a Internet, lo que limita su uso de los recursos digitales. Psicológicamente, se identifica una prevalencia de estados emocionales aflictivos y de estrés, dando lugar a un estado de bienestar socioemocional general vulnerable. A través de análisis de árboles de regresión se revela la importancia de la evaluación del aprendizaje y el contacto con los estudiantes, tanto para el aprendizaje como para el bienestar socioemocional. La investigación es relevante porque permite ver fortalezas y áreas de oportunidad para el Sistema Educativo Mexicano (SEM).
La cultura de investigación en las escuelas Normales no ha dado los frutos esperados, aun cuando se han promovido algunos cambios institucionales para ello. En este trabajo se presenta la descripción de las características del perfil de docentes investigadores de escuelas Normales de Puebla y Veracruz. Para ello se reporta parte de los datos de un cuestionario aplicado a 47 docentes-investigadores de ambos estados, a partir de un estudio desarrollado tipo encuesta. En general, los resultados muestran una casi exclusiva experiencia docente en educación superior, un tiempo de dedicación mayor en los docentes-investigadores de Veracruz, pertenecientes todos a CA, con la consecuente mayor producción académica y una alta participación en congresos nacionales e internacionales, comparados con docentes investigadores de las escuelas Normales de Puebla con experiencia en investigación de cuatro años en adelante. Y con respecto del grupo completo, se encontró que los temas más estudiados están relacionados con la docencia mayoritariamente, y con los estudiantes.
La contingencia por COVID-19 afectó a millones de docentes y estudiantes mexicanos, lo quedimensiona la problemática del Sistema Educativo Nacional. Pese a ello, los docentes handemostrado resiliencia y creatividad en la adaptación de sus prácticas pedagógicas para laeducación remota y en connamiento. Este trabajo tiene por objetivo categorizar las buenasprácticas docentes en la contingencia con base en la pedagogía crítica de Freire para difundirlasa la comunidad educativa. Se analizaron cualitativamente micronarraciones de 500 docentesde educación básica, con un acercamiento deductivo-inductivo enmarcado en la investigaciónbiográco-narrativa. Es posible advertir en los hallazgos que los docentes parecen haber empleadodiferentes estrategias y alternativas pedagógicas alineadas con la propuesta Freiriana. Lasnarraciones analizadas revelan modicaciones en las prácticas docentes relativas a la exibilidaden el desarrollo de actividades, el manejo de los recursos didácticos y la evaluación, entre otros.
