Objetivo: Avaliar os fatores associados aos níveis de depressão, ansiedade e estresse em profissionais da Atenção Primária à Saúde, no contexto da pandemia da COVID-19. Métodos: Para o mapeamento da tríade, utilizou-se a Depression, Anxiety and Stress Scale e um instrumento de coleta de dados que continha variáveis sociodemográficas e clínicas dos participantes. Os dados foram analisados utilizando estatística descritiva e inferencial, por meio dos testes de Mann-Whitney, Kruskal-Wallis e Spearman, com nível de significância de 5%. Resultados: Dos 162 participantes, 11,7% tiveram níveis de depressão, ansiedade e estresse moderado ou superior; 26,5% apresentaram ansiedade moderada ou superior; 19,8% expressaram estresse moderado ou superior; 17,3% manifestaram depressão moderada ou superior. Sexo feminino, menor renda familiar, menor nível de escolaridade, diagnósticos prévios de ansiedade, depressão e/ou Burnout, não realização de atividade física, uso de medicações ansiolíticas e/ou antidepressivas, e acompanhamento psicológico e/ou psiquiátrico foram associados a maiores níveis de depressão, ansiedade e/ou estresse. Conclusão: Os profissionais da Atenção Primária à Saúde tiveram sua saúde mental afetada pela pandemia da COVID-19, apontando para necessidade de ações voltadas à promoção da saúde mental destes.
Objetivo: Avaliar a efetividade da acupuntura auricular como terapia complementar para depressão, ansiedade e estresse em profissionais de uma rede de Atenção Primária à Saúde durante a pandemia da COVID-19. Métodos: Estudo quase experimental cuja amostra foi de 29 profissionais identificados com nível moderado ou superior de ansiedade. Para o mapeamento dos níveis de depressão, ansiedade e estresse antes e após a intervenção foi utilizada a Depression, Anxiety and Stress Scale (DASS-21) e o biomarcador cortisol salivar. Utilizou-se um protocolo de acupuntura auricular semanal, nos pontos Shenmen, Rim, Sistema Nervoso Simpático, Coração, Tronco Cerebral, Yang do Fígado 1 e 2, Pulmão e Baço. Os dados foram analisados utilizando estatística descritiva e inferencial, considerando um nível de significância de 5%. Resultados: Constatou-se que a acupuntura auricular reduziu os níveis de depressão (p=0,000), ansiedade (p=0,000) e estresse (p=0,000) dos profissionais, evidenciando sua efetividade como terapia complementar para estes transtornos mentais. Já os níveis de cortisol manhã (p=0,011) e noite (p=0,010) apresentaram leve aumento após a intervenção. Conclusão: Conclui-se que a acupuntura auricular pode ser uma aliada no cuidado à saúde mental, porém necessita-se de mais estudos que abarquem essa prática e o biomarcador cortisol salivar.
