RESUMO:Este artigo apresenta os resultados de uma pesquisa sobre as representações sociais de 14 professores do Ensino Fundamental I, de 6 escolas públicas de uma cidade do interior do estado do Paraná sobre Transtorno de Déficit de Atenção e Hiperatividade (TDAH) e medicalização. O estudo justifica-se pela necessidade de compreender como o TDAH é concebido pelos professores, no intuito de contribuir com os profissionais da Educação, de modo a ampliar seus conhecimentos sobre o transtorno em discussão e os estimular à pesquisa. Os resultados revelam que as participantes da pesquisa conceituam o TDAH como um transtorno que afeta a aprendizagem e provoca problemas comportamentais, necessitando de tratamento medicamentoso. Conclui-se que as representações sociais das professoras estão ancoradas em conceitos propagados pela mídia, pelos cursos de formação de professores e pela orientação dada às escolas pelos profissionais da Saúde. Embora manifestem dúvida em relação ao diagnóstico recebido pelos alunos, ainda possuem o consenso de que a medicalização é a melhor forma de tratamento para os alunos com TDAH. PALAVRAS-CHAVE:
Este artigo, de natureza teórica, tem o propósito de investigar as relações entre os hábitos orais deletérios na infância e possíveis dificuldades na aquisição da leitura e da escrita. Analisamos pesquisas empíricas que tratam da temática e constatamos que a literatura da área indica que hábitos orais como o uso de mamadeira, de chupeta, a onicofagia e a sucção digital podem impactar negativamente a aquisição fonológica, uma vez que provocam danos anatômicos, fisiológicos e funcionais às estruturas articulatórias. O surgimento de padrões patológicos devido a tais hábitos acarreta disfunções sensoriais e alterações no desenvolvimento da fisiologia e da morfologia dos grupos musculares orofaciais que, por sua vez, reduzem a inteligibilidade da fala, podendo resultar em distúrbios ou em distorções. Essas inadequações no desenvolvimento da linguagem oral ocasionam dificuldades na aprendizagem da leitura e da escrita, na mediada em que o processo de alfabetização requer consciência fonológica. Conclui-se que é fundamental que os profissionais da educação tenham conhecimento sobre esse assunto para que possam identificar a ocorrência dos hábitos orais deletérios infantis, bem como elaborar estratégias que promovam o seu abandono.
O presente estudo objetivou conhecer os hábitos digitais de 15 alunos com NEE (Necessidades Educacionais Especiais) e analisou as percepções de uma professora da Sala de Recursos Multifuncionais (SRM) sobre a realização de atividades remotas no período da pandemia de covid-19. A pesquisa caracterizou-se como qualitativa, um estudo de caso. Para a coleta dos dados analisados qualitativamente elegeu-se um questionário sobre o uso de tecnologias e o relato de experiência docente. A análise dividiu-se em eixos: a) Início e desenvolvimento das atividades com o uso da ferramenta Google Classroom; b) participação da família nas atividades remotas; c) dificuldades e experiências exitosas nas atividades. Identificou-se, nos alunos, o hábito de utilizarem Tecnologias da Informação e Comunicação (TICs) para lazer, mas não para aquisição de conhecimento. A ferramenta Google Classroom utilizada para as atividades remotas foi uma novidade para alunos e para a docente. Na realização das atividades, foi necessário incluir outras ferramentas digitais como WhatsApp, e-mail, sala virtual. As atividades realizadas com o apoio da família foram relevantes e, nos casos em que o apoio não foi possível, os alunos apresentaram dificuldades na realização das propostas on-line. Conclui-se que, com o apoio da família, o acesso ao docente com feedback imediato, por meio do WhatsApp, possibilita a organização e realização exitosa da rotina de estudos para esses alunos e até promove novos hábitos de estudos por meio das TICs.
A educação especial é uma modalidade de ensino para estudantes com deficiência, Transtorno do Espectro Autista (TEA) e com altas habilidades e superdotação, matriculados nas diferentes etapas e níveis de ensino. Traçamos o objetivo de analisar ações institucionais de educação especial no Instituto Federal de Educação (IFPR) nos cursos profissionais técnicos e tecnológicos. Trata-se de uma pesquisa qualitativa, de natureza documental e bibliográfica. Inicialmente, apresentamos de forma geral a educação especial como modalidade de ensino que busca se efetivar por meio de dispositivos legais e de pressupostos teórico-metodológicos, a partir de temáticas específicas que tratam de recursos e serviços de acessibilidade no atendimento às especificidades do seu público. Na sequência, elencamos alguns dos principais documentos do IFPR que dispõem sobre a inclusão escolar, com ênfase nos direitos das pessoas que são público da educação especial. Para se compreender o que dizem as pesquisas stricto sensu acerca de investigações realizadas em diferentes campi do IFPR, realizamos busca no catálogo de teses e dissertações da Capes, e analisamos cinco trabalhos, sendo uma tese e quatro dissertações. De forma geral, os resultados apontam que a educação especial é bem amparada legalmente em nosso país, no entanto, no IFPR as práticas inclusivas se encontram em processo lento. Atualmente, dos vinte e cinco campi, apenas sete deles contam com professor de educação especial, mas nem todos têm sala de recursos multifuncional constituída, que é uma exigência preconizada pela Resolução 4/2009, ao instituir diretrizes operacionais para o atendimento educacional especializado (AEE) na educação básica.
