O Ministério da Saúde reconhece a necessidade de propor melhorias na atenção ao parto e nascimento que estejam em conformidade com as diferentes necessidades das gestantes. Desta forma, conhecer o perfil obstétrico de parturientes atendidas em um Centro de Parto Normal possibilita a avaliação de fatores de relevância para o atendimento adequado. Este estudo teve por objetivo analisar o perfil obstétrico das parturientes admitidas em um Centro de Parto Normal intra-hospitalar. Trata-se de estudo quantitativo, com recorte transversal, realizado com dados de uma maternidade situada em um hospital filantrópico de grande porte em um município sul mato-grossense. Os dados se referem a parturientes atendidas de janeiro a dezembro do ano de 2020, totalizando 2.340 mulheres. Foram analisadas variáveis relativas à faixa etária, antecedentes obstétricos, número de consultas pré-natal, entre outras. Após a análise dos dados, identificou-se a prevalência de mulheres na faixa etária entre 19 e 35 anos de idade, primigestas (38,4%), com 6 ou mais consultas de pré-natal (73,5%), assistidas por enfermeiras obstétricas durante o trabalho de parto e parto (59,4%) e que não foram encaminhadas para cirurgia cesariana (89,2%). Conclui-se que o perfil de parturientes encontrado corrobora com os achados de investigações nacionais e aponta para um serviço obstétrico que atende as diretrizes ministeriais. Os achados da investigação servirão como devolutiva para o serviço de saúde local, além de subsidiar a formulação de estratégias para atenção materno-infantil em âmbito regional e nacional, entendendo o funcionamento da rede de atenção obstétrica e a relevância do estudo para a comunidade científica.
Objective: To assess the context of work and analyze their repercussions on the quality of life of rural workers in soybean agribusiness. Method: Cross-sectional study, with an intentional sample of rural workers, conducted between the months of October and December 2019, with the application of the instruments World Health Organization Quality Life-bref and Scales of Assessment of Context and Human Cost of Work. The data were analyzed through bivariate and multivariate descriptive statistics. Results: The participants amounted to 299 rural workers. The scores of Work Conditions and Socioprofessional Relations were satisfactory and Organization of Work was critical. The scores of Physical and Cognitive costs were considered critical and of the Affective Cost was satisfactory. The Socioprofessional Relations have negatively impacted the overall quality of life and the Physical and Psychological, the Social Relations and the Environmental Domains, whereas Cognitive Cost positively impacted the Physical and the Environmental Domain and the Affective Cost positively impacted the Social Relations Domain. Conclusion: Although the Work Context and Human Cost indicated adverse conditions, only the Socioprofessional Relations exerted negative influences on the quality of life of rural workers.
Objective: to report an experience using the Team-Based Learning methodology for the development of a standard model for Birth Plans by health professionals. Methods: experience report on the use of Team-Based Learning to develop care technology, with the participation of 120 professionals from two municipalities located in the Midwest Region. Results: the use of Team-Based Learning in this experience enabled the construction of a Child Delivery Plan model based on the theoretical approach to the theme, a critical reflection exercise, an in-depth discussion, decision-making, after what a consensus was reached. The methodology enabled the (co) construction of knowledge in small groups, teamwork, accountability, and satisfaction among the participants. Final Considerations: the use of the TeamBased Learning methodology proved to be effective as a discussion strategy, building consensus and syntheses for the elaboration of a care technology aimed at the pregnancy-parturition period.
Objetivo: descrever a experiência do uso da simulação em saúde no ensino de graduação em Enfermagem na situação de Hemorragia Pós-Parto. Método: estudo descritivo, do tipo relato de experiência, sobre a aplicação da simulação em saúde no ensino em Enfermagem com base na estratégia - Zero Morte Materna por Hemorragia Pós-Parto (0MMxH) da OPAS/OMS. A simulação foi realizada no primeiro semestre de 2020, com 15 discentes da Disciplina Sexualidade e Reprodução Humana, ministrada no sexto período do Curso de Graduação em Enfermagem de uma Universidade Federal do Centro-Oeste brasileiro. Resultados: o uso da simulação em saúde nesta experiência possibilitou a participação dos alunos de graduação em enfermagem em um cenário de hemorragia pós-parto, promovendo o desenvolvimento profissional por meio de vivência na prática clínica. Conclusão: a inserção de simulação em saúde no ensino promove o desenvolvimento de competências e habilidades importantes para a prática assistencial da enfermagem no contexto do cuidado às mulheres com quadros de hemorragia pós-parto.
O estudo tem como objetivo descrever as características sociodemográficas, obstétricas e clínicas de mulheres que foram a óbito em decorrência da infecção da COVID-19 durante o ciclo gravídico-puerperal, em um hospital de referência em Cuiabá, Mato Grosso. Trata-se de um estudo descritivo composto por 8 mulheres, com idade média de 27,5 anos. Predominaram mulheres pardas, procedentes de outros municípios que não o de internação. Grande parte não apresentava comorbidade ou complicações antes da infecção, todas mulheres tiveram alterações pulmonares e 6 delas sofreram acometimento fetal. A média do tempo de internação foi de 12 dias e as principais causas citadas nas declarações de óbito foram: insuficiência respiratória, pneumonia viral devido infecção por COVID-19, choque séptico e choque hipovolêmico. Mulheres em período gestacional necessitam de um cuidado ampliado, rigoroso e específico, e de medidas de prevenção e tratamento adequado e em tempo oportuno, uma vez que a infecção por COVID-19 traz riscos não só à mãe, mas também ao feto/recém-nascido.
