Fixação biológica do nitrogênio. In this study, it was evaluated in the field, the agronomic efficiency, through the accumulation of biomass of shoot, root, number and biomass of nodules, relative efficiency and productivity of three cultivars of cowpea (BRS New Era, BRS vibrant and Vinegar), in independent experiments, inoculated with five strains of rhizobia, BR 3302 (UFLA 3-84), BR 3301 (INPA 03-11B), BR 3262, BR 3299 and BR 3267, two controls, control and fertilized with nitrogen (50 kg of N ha -1 ) for each experiment, in blocks. For each cultivar the response of each strain inoculated varied within traits. However, strain BR 3302 showed a constant on the characteristics of biomass and productivity assessed, to cultivar Nova Era in Experiment 1, with values near the fertilized soil. For the cultivars Pujante and Vinagre, in experiments 2 and 3, respectively, were also observed satisfactory results with the inoculation of strain BR 3302, with productivity about 22 and 11% higher than the treatment fertilized with nitrogen in each experiment, however, did not differ on the other strains inoculated. The mean of three independent experiments, were observed grain yields of cowpea of 743 and 826 kg ha -1 for the treatments with nitrogen and the tr...
A B S T R A C TThe rhizosphere contains many microorganisms that can promote plant growth and protect the root system against infection by pathogens. Fungi of Trichoderma sp. are included in this group. The aim of this study was to evaluate efficiency of the inoculation of Trichoderma in agronomic performance of cowpea under field conditions, in the savanna in Gurupi, Tocantins, in harvests 2013/2014 to 2014/2015. The treatments consisted in seed treatment, with and without inoculation with Trichoderma asperellum UFT 201 with minimum concentration of viable conidia of 2x10 9 L -1 , at a dose of 20 g kg -1 of seed. Biomass evaluations were made on efficiency, initial and final stands and survival in the use of Trichoderma in the stand maintaining and productivity. The results indicated that the ability of bio-protection and plant growth promotion were of great importance for the biomass production, the stand maintaining and cowpea productivity. In both harvests, survival was superior in the plants treated with Trichoderma, 23.0 and 13.2%, respectively, and yields were 9.5% higher compared to control for the two harvests. In general, the inoculation of Trichoderma provided the best results in the biomass variables analyzed for the two crops with higher productivity. Keywords: biomass, productivity, Trichoderma, Vigna unguiculata.
Abstract:The Amazonian Dark Earth (ADE), that is extremely efficient soils in retaining great amount of organic matter of the soil, and for long time, they are still little known with relationship to the effects on the physical fractions of those soils in these adapt tropical region. Therefore, the objective of the present study was to evaluate the space distributions and in depth of the light organic fractions and the stock of carbon and nitrogen in ADE and Yellow Oxisoil (Latossolo Amarelo), under cultivation of orange Pêra Rio (Citrus sinensis (L.) Osbeck) in Laranjal Cost, Manacapuru -AM. The physical fractionation of the organic matter was done by densimetric method, where they were extracted the free light fractions and intra-aggregated light fraction in solution of iodeto of sodium. Granulometria analyses, fertility and total organic carbon were accomplished (C) of the soils. The results showed that C, when comparing ADE and LA, was larger in ADE , having also been expressed in the stocks of carbon. The contents of carbon from free light fraction have been major as the contents of carbon from intra-aggregated light fraction on ADE and LA.Keywords: Amazonian Dark Earth; Stock of carbon and nitrogen; physical fractionation of the soil organic matter; global climate change.
